#PRIDE2017Reads #NatalieRiess wrote this lovely baking show in space graphic novel. It's art of gorgeous and it's a happy story that will make you smile and your belly rumble. The colors are as yummy as the main character Peony and Neptunia, whom I totally ship.

#bookstagram Texas girl power theme! #NotestoBoys a mortifying memoir from the incredible #PamelaRibon. Then #Dumplin by the talented #juliemurphy. (If you can ever hear her speak in person, my gosh, do! She is effervescent loveliness) and finally, #DerbyGirl by #ShaunaCross, the book that launched #WhipIt which inspired girls to hunt down their already amazing local leagues and hopefully have them all a nice boost. #bookstagram final attempt for the night. Was trying to find some of the best books with awesome #LGBTQAI+ characters (some are themed, some are not). Check out these great reads as part of PRIDE this month! I'm doing #PRIDE2017Reads recommendations all month. My first rec was #DoomPatrol no. 70 which features the 1st ever transgender superhero, Kate Godwin aka #Coagula, created by Grant Morrison and Rachel Pollack in 1993. Sadly I only have a digital copy so it's not featured in this pic. It be sure to check out all these titles for some rad pride reads this month!
