THE MUMMY | 1999
we all know the x-files pilot is insane and one of my favorite insane things about it is mulder (understandably) initially being concerned scully is just being sent by the government to spy on him, because you think to yourself, oh surely this will be a longstanding conflict and she will slowly have to earn his confidence, considering that his entire life’s work is built on his fundamental distrust of the authority that sent her. but all she has to do is say “no i swear i’m not you have to believe me :(” and bat her eyelashes and he’s immediately like god you’re so right you would never lie to me i’m going to tell you my entire life story and deepest trauma NOW. they’ve known each other 4 hours btw

"the x files is soo dark you can't see anything, why are you saying it's well lit" uhh because?
people complaining about it being "too dark" usually cite the same two (2) episodes to prove their point. let's not ignore all the hard work that Rob Bowman, Kim Manners and other directors have done, without which the show wouldn't have been half as iconic as it is
DEAN WINCHESTER SUPERNATURAL (2005 – 2020) | 9.06 – “Heaven can't wait”
season one screencaps | pilot pt 2
THE X-FILES 3.12 | War of the Coprophages
The fact that some people skip to Castiels appearance makes me so disappointed. Y'all don't understand how good season two specifically is.
Season 3 is also really good. But Season 2 is so damn like, oh my god, if there are any people reading this post lurking through this tag, who have not watched any. I implore you to do it right now.
Jesus this season is so fucking stacked
I’m rewatching Supernatural and this show is such a delight
"I asked Grok.""I asked Chat gpt." ok, well, i asked Sam winchester, and he said,"So get this...
THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING 2001 | dir. Peter Jackson
x files studies but this time I tired to achieve that VHS feeling. I very vaguely remember watching some episodes as a kid, and I think this is as close as I've ever got to recreating that memory of a small, grainy tv in a dark room
