It was a busy weekend. Five cute new wren babies hatched yesterday, the Monarch eggs, cats and chrysalises are doing good, I have put a camera by the Chocolate Tube Slime to try and get a timelapse, planted things, ordered more flower seed and also seed garlic for fall. I also bought rooting hormone and dipped some milkweed clippings in to see if that actually works. And tiny opossum showed up again 😍 Come good into the week!

1) do this even if you're under 40. seriously. I definitely should have been doing something like this for years and I only turned 40 a month and a half ago

2) if you're like me just now trying this going "oh god i've only done 15 and i think my hands are cramping" start lower than 30 and increase by 5 once whatever number you're doing no longer makes your hand cramp up. I can manage about 15 per exercise at the moment.

Magic is /in the name./

Not only is he a remarkable combination of hand-drawn and early computer animation (since his carpet pattern was applied to his hand-drawn outline in the computer), but he's full to the brim with character and emotion despite being a fully mute character. He also quite frankly saves Aladdin's butt way too many times to count, to the point that in the TV series, the villain Mechanicles deduces that if he wants to keep Aladdin from interfering in his plans, he needs to deal with Carpet and Genie first.

He's polite, sensible, helpful, expressive, curious, and willing to have adventures. There is there literally nothing to critique about him He's also a nonverbal object without a face, which makes him more endearing, due to his expressive and distinct personality. How could you not like him?

two huge paragraphs of propaganda for a carpet and nothing to say about willow ufgood? clearly my assistance is required. willow ufgood originated as a humble farmer in a small village. though he had aspirations to magic, he only had a few paltry sleight of hand tricks that never seemed to work, and a family he dearly loved. one day a baby came floating down the river near his homestead, a baby with a magical destiny. the high aldwin of his village urged him to take the baby back to her people, and willow set out on a journey that would change his life and the fate of his entire realm, forever. a journey of self-discovery, friendship and love, wherein he did learn the powers of a great wizard. but his journey doesn't end there! 20-ish moons later, we can see willow again, now the leader of his own village and a powerful sorceror, called upon once again to aid in a quest wherein the fate of the realm hangs in the balance, to lead an unlikely group of young warriors into an epic battle. he's grown older, wiser, and hilariously grumpier. allow me to leave you with the words of inspiration he shares with elora danan during the climactic battle:
