Oh my gosh!!!! So I haven’t seen anything about this yet so I’m really proud of myself!

So in Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince she says

“I’m CRAZIER for you, Than I was at 16, lost I’m a film scene”

And she released crazier on the Hannah Montana movie soundtrack released in 2009 but she may have wrote it when she was 16!

London Boy

How fun is London boy? An article compared it to Galway Girl and I was so excited bc it’s so true! Galways girl is my jam and I listened to it my whole trip through Ireland!

London boy has the same idea but it’s a completely different song! Memorizing these lyrics was the greatest achievement on the album in my opinion!

The part I yell over and over again is “BABES DONT THREATEN ME WITH A GOOD TIME!”

So as you can probably tell.. every day a different song on the album is my favorite that day. Starting yesterday Lover was my favorite and then Taylor preformed it on the VMAs and it was EPIC!

Yes this song in its entirety is just the BEST! Bridge city! She is just out of the world and the best song writer in our lifetime.

My favorite lyric: “Take me out, and take me home”

Ugh. Ever since moving in with my very own lover (of 7 years), I can’t relate more to this song💕😭

I’m onsessed with the chorus and bridge but can relate too much to the

“I think he knows he better lock it down or I won’t stick around ‘cause good ones never wait”

this is why I’m a Stan for Taylor! My whole life we’ve gone through the ups and downs together and her songs have put my emotions and thoughts into songs. I’m in this same stage of life right now and I love singing these lyrics to my boyfriend!

Also the “he’s so obsessed with me and boy I understand” ugh love it!

The Man

OKAY! Can we talk about the man?! As a woman I have felt every word she says in the song (except the raking in dollars bc I’m only a nurse). At one point of my life I was convinced I should accept men can and will get there faster than me even if I was running as fast as I could - literally and metaphorically. Because of Taylor and growing up and gaining confidence I know I will NEVER settle for that again and that is not what I will teach my daughters. My mom was the one who told me to just accept it, bc that is what her mom told her and so on. We will not stand for this sexism and inequality. It’s time to demand respect.

Thank you Taylor for this anthem and a ground to stand on while we fight this fight. These double standards will not be tolerated anymore.
