Chapter Two: Fragile Matters in Music Room #3
Haruhi didn't act like the rest in the extravagant, elegant sense. Our eye contact was interrupted by the other girls in our class as she walked out, answering questions about me, I’d guess. My head would tilt before I could notice the twins standing, both of their arms supporting each of my own, guiding me out of the classroom. "Wait a minute! Isn't the cafeteria on the first level? Wouldn't we have to go down the stairs we just passed?" I'd question them as my cheeks flush. They both kept walking, no matter how much I slowed down my own pace. "Where are we going? Hey!" With some struggle, I freed myself from the two as they stopped to look at me.
"We're going to eat lunch somewhere else."
"Just come with us, we can go back afterwards."
Hikaru would smile after his remark while Kaoru looked at me, chuckling softly as the two grabbed me once more. We passed through more hallways until we saw Haruhi entering a music room.
"We don't know Haruhi well, but..." Kaoru rambles off for Hikaru to finish his thought, "She has been quite interesting to observe, and you've shown similar characteristics to her. I'm not surprised that you both would share that scholar mentality." I would sigh. Sort of hoped I could sketch the lunch hour away. "I'll take that as a compliment." The door to the music room opened, the scent of roses bursting out of the room.
Immense windows framed the place with sunlight; the place had little furniture. One would stand out was a piano, an instrument I had only seen in pictures & read about in fictitious tales. A dining table soon caught my eye with each dish its own fine plate & cutlery, making me take a step back from the overwhelming sight as the twins slowly loosened their grip. "Now, what do we have here? You may want to explain yourselves. Holding a lady like that. Hikaru, Kaoru." The rest turned into a blur, wincing at the sight of food. My heart kept pumping out of rhythm, with another step backwards - I ran for the door, pushing it instead of pulling.
"Minami?" The twins would speak from a distance, but I couldn't respond. My stomach kept turning as my hands started to sweat, making it almost impossible to open the door by that point.
This is embarrassing.
The door to the room was eventually pushed open to me, quickly making a run for it, but in consequence of my rush, something ripped.
"Oh.. no, no, no."
My heavy breathing was audible as my broken words came out of my lips, my hand covering the ripped bodice. Immediately, I was covered with a blazer, which made me look upward. "Here, let me help." Haruhi got me to my feet, my stomach twisting the rest of my organs out of place.
I thought I was over this.
She was quick, getting the two of us back into the room and into a changing section, separated only by a curtain. My body started to show the signs of nausea, almost like a cat trying to expel a hairball. "Bring over a bag! Now!" Haruhi's hand stayed on the middle of my back, easing some of the pain, making me throw up once the bag was close enough to my mouth, while the strands of hair were moved behind my ears.
I thought it was all over. Why is it all coming back to me?
After what felt like twenty minutes, the pain subsided, finally able to take deep breaths back to reality. "We should get you a new uniform first. Wait here, okay?" I nodded at her words, my hands shaking as they tried to close the bag, not wanting to see what came out. It didn't take Haruhi long to come back with an unlabeled shopping bag hanging from her arm and a bottle of water in her hand, as I looked up from the floor, holding her uniform jacket closer to my chest as she closed the curtain.
"How are you feeling?" She spoke softly to me, handing the open bottle to me. My eyes met hers as I took a small sip of water before I could respond jokingly with "Embarrassed, to say the least," along with a sigh of devastation, knowing that I was being truthful. She soon sat down beside me, trying to catch my gaze again. "We don't have to talk about it, in all honesty. It happens to the best of us. I'm just glad you're feeling better. I could tell that took a lot out of you." I feel her hand lay on my shoulder, making me chuckle softly, "Yeah." I'd whisper.
“I will let you get dressed & then we can eat, it’ll bring some of that energy back."
I could hear the smile in her tone as her hand rubbed my shoulder before getting up, leaving for me to change into the new uniform that somehow fit better than the last. The bow wasn't as tight around my neck, and the skirt fell nicely around me as I turned from side to side. I took a closer look in the mirror just to be sure that nothing was out of place. This school really prioritizes looks over an education. I got the ripped dress inside the bag after folding the jacket, sliding the curtain slightly over to see many worried faces. The space grew quiet as I walked my way over to sit at an empty chair between the twins.
I notice Mori in front of me, carefully helping Haruhi fix a plate before placing it before me. "It's nice to see you again." He smiled, "Likewise." I nod back.
"You two know each other?" Their heads tilted in confusion, to which I nodded. Two new faces still had my pale face in their minds, showing some worry with a mixture of confusion. Immediately, I stood to take a deep bow, "I'm so sorry for causing trouble!"
"As long as no one outside of this club saw it, there should be no reason to apologize." The dark-haired male across from me fixed his glasses. While the blonde to his left simply smiled, "Don't worry about it, beautiful. Are you sure you're alright? Do you need to see the nurse? You are in very good hands, I can assure you.-" He gets cut off. "Rest assured, she'll be alright, Tamaki."
I sat myself back down before taking slow & small bites from the dish in front of me, before a slice of cake was slid over to me. I look over to Mori, seeing a shorter blonde, giving me a warm smile. "You can have that piece!" I smile politely, taking a bite from the slice of cake. It was all so good, I can't think of why it was all so overwhelming.
"You deserve nothing but dirt and only dirt!"
"Minami, you should join our club," Kaoru suggested outloud. Snapping me out of my thought, "What club?"
"The host club, of course!" Tamaki was quick to stand up, reaching his hand out to me. "Would you like to be our first female host?"
"A hostess? What are you talking about?"
"Minami could be a part of the roster, Kyoya! Don't you see the vision?"
Confusion crept up to my face, taking another bite of the savory dish and swallowing it all down with a sip of tea. My eyes automatically turned to Haruhi, seeing if she made any sense of this.
"Don't worry about that too much, you'll be just fine. It's harmless." She whispered to me. My confusion was still apparent as the rest bickered, while I continued eating. I'm unsure how it all went back to normal. It does have me wondering if this is how it goes in other prestigious academies.
Besides, I didn't consider joining a club, much less a Host Club.

friendship, resulting in the start of her healing journey.
Chapter One: Is this a Sitcom or Something?
My dad was pretty excited about it all when I left the house. I was officially a High School student at a Academy that only a few managed to get into with an academic scholarship.
"Welcome, Miss Minami, here we have your uniform & your class schedule. You might have to change quickly, your first lecture is in five minutes." You could see the visible question mark on my face when I was given the stuffy uniform, rushing to the nearest bathroom to change as quickly as I could. "I don't know how I'll make it to class in this dress." The panic built up the closer I was to having my uniform on & out of the office door.
Running my way to homeroom in a yellow dress & a white bow. It was tight and uncomfortable, but it was all I was given. I'll live. Each hallway I passed was bigger & wider than the next. My nose was buried in my schedule card, double-checking which caused me to stumble onto someone who got a hold of my arm & waist, breaking my potential fall.
"Are you alright?"
He was tall, with chiseled features that complemented his dark hair & worried eyes. "Yes, thank you," I mumble, my eyes glued to him. His voice made him all the more attractive. "I'm sorry, but... Is there any way I can get to this classroom here? My lecture starts in three minutes." I was quick to point, almost making this an excuse to look at him for a little longer. "It will be a few steps ahead to your right, you won't miss it." He smiled a little while pointing to my destination, "Thank you so much... Mister?" I raised my brows.
"Morinozuka. Mori, for short." His smile was still there as I walked further in the opposite direction. I couldn't stop looking at him; he almost looked like a prince. I would definitely believe that, if it were true. "Take care now, Miss." He took a small bow. At this point, I ran to the classroom door once it was in view.
"It's Minami! Thank you again!" I grinned, getting a good grip of the handle to open the tall door, revealing the classroom with most of my classmates already seated. "We are so glad you could make it. Come." The teacher greets me as I walk to stand beside the podium. As my breathing regulated, I spotted a girl. Being the only one among them with a boy's uniform, lucky!
"Please, do introduce yourself." The teacher chirped, "I'm Minami Sayaka. I look forward to being your classmate for this school year. I hope we get along." Once I spoke my part, I took a bow, verifying my assigned seat, which was next to two familiar faces that looked back in possible disgust. Hard to tell if they think differently or not; their features are the exact same as when I last saw them.
"Your total will be ¥671.50." I would smile as he decided to pay cash for their order, making sure to give back a receipt while a coworker got their order ready. "Our lattes are actually really good-"
"No, thank you." Despite his tone being more emotionless & uninterested than most customers, it didn't stop me from taking a bow. As soon as those two were out the door, I could finally breathe. "You actually got their orders, you are so lucky!" Mei, my coworker, was quick to shake me around from the excitement she was feeling - as if she saw someone famous.
"What are you talking about?" Confusion was written all over my face. "The Hitachiin twins, aren't you going to Ouran High next semester?" Her eyes widened from the surprise - you could even call it shock. "Yeah, I got accepted, but..." I had never seen twins in my life, especially ones who just ordered muffins at a café. "You already have good luck written all over you now that you met them!" She squeaked.
I could hardly call it luck.
I took a seat; both pairs of eyes were still on me. The staring simply increased with each passing lecture; some people were actually staring because the twins kept staring at me. I can definitely feel the pressure. Pressure, I know all too well. I truly didn't understand why my coworker was such a fan. What is there to like besides their looks? They don't seem all that interesting. Not that I know them, but their gaze isn't so welcoming. The bell for lunch finally got me out of my thoughts, but as quickly as I stood up was as quickly as I sat back down. Faced with the infamous twins once again. I'd blink at them, waiting for something to happen, possibly some miracle to not be in this situation right now?!
"We'd like to be friends."
"Friends?" You've got to be kidding me.
"We can exchange numbers. Here." He hands me his phone to add my number while the other one follows suit, "Mine too."
It almost felt like they couldn't wait for me to finish, "Are you busy after class?" They spoke in unison. To deny them almost felt like a crime; my eyes kept looking at the brothers, scanning from one to the other, thinking of my next response. They were rude at first, but somehow they look a lot more intimidating with their uniforms on.
"Yes, but on one condition." They looked at one another before nodding. I quickly stood up and whispered in both of their ears, "Tell no one that I have a job, okay?" I smiled awkwardly at the two. "Okay." They shrugged, looking at one another this time, "We won't."
That was painfully easy. Regardless of just now interacting outside of my working hours, it was as if we had met before. A quiet pact of secrecy, almost. At least that is what I hope, since my scholarship depends on this pact.
"I'm Kaoru, He's Hikaru." It'll be hard to tell, at least I know their names. Most of the pressure I feel now is from the other girls in class who lingered, glaring, almost jealous, except for one. "So, who is the girl in the boy's uniform?" I whisper out of curiosity, tilting my head in her general direction.
"Oh, that's Haruhi," Hikaru answered, and Kaoru followed.
"Haruhi Fujioka." After a good few minutes of silent understanding, something hit them with shock - as if their secret was revealed; one they were hiding poorly at that.
They leaned in, "How did you know she was a girl?" The question being whispered to me was immediately answered with a shrug. Leaning over my seat to take a good look at her once more, only to find her staring back at me. Despite her boyish haircut and posture, her eyes gave it away. I'll never be sure why that is; It's simply a gaze I couldn't avoid.
It's actually k!lling me to just sit here in the comfort of my home while so many innocent civilians are being killed; and the only thing I can do is boycott certain brands and burn the books of authors who support israel....

college athletes sukuna forms!megumi & yuuji x nerdy reader
DISCLAIMERS : whole lot of cursing, suggestive scenarios & flirting.
"You just had to give me that pass, Aniki. These amateurs don't know what they're fucking doing."
Yuuji had a loose tongue after a bad game, one that could never keep the two out of trouble with their coach. Despite the talent he has, the boy was always whining to his twin brother about every little detail of each quarter in the lockerooms.
"Watch your mouth."
Megumi would hiss at him, hands pushing his borther away from his personal space. It was agitating him how much the duo kept getting into discourse over the smallest of things.
"Coach told us to distribute the ball - to pass the ball to everyone else, it's not my fault that they don't know what they're doing. Now fix that fuckin' attitude."
Despite all the head butting and cursing they'd throw at each other, they'd watch each other's backs and take care of one another. Yuuji was starting to let his GPA go lower each month and Megumi was ready to kick his head in for acting so arrogant and cocky thinking that he'd stay on the team with the grades he was getting but instead he reaches out to you.
The tutor from the History Deparment.
You were the only one who really knew what the professors expected from students. You were observant, attentive, very meticulous with your work which is why you were tutoring other students after hours and get paid for it.
You became their saving grace. Once he had your number, he didn't hesitate to call and explain the situation.
"He's arrogant and incompetent but please, you are my last -"
"Don't finish that sentence, just bring him to the south dorms. We'll meet in the common area, yeah? Be sure that he at least brings a pencil."
You've heard of the twins once before from the students you've been tutoring, not that you've actually seen them before - till that night.
You sat down as the two walked over, their steps would slow down halfway, as you organized your books on the table you caught both of them staring for a good minute "I don't have all night for this." You'd whisper to yourself, turning your head over to the duo.
Both were broad and taller than most, considering the sport they played, you expected nothing less. As your eyes met with theirs, they cleared their throats and walking a lot faster toward the table.
Once seated, Megumi, the one you spoke to and looked the most put together shoved his younger brother's head down to follow his own to both introduce themselves and apologize "We're sorry-"
"No we're not."
The youngest would interrupt him, swatting away Megumi's hand "You're single, right? I've seen you around, you're just my type."
You could only look at the two and chuckle at his attempt at flirting but it didn't hurt to follow his little game and so "You have a test and a project coming up, don't you? Let's start there."
Yuuji's smile got bigger and throughout the three hours of making him understand the material it never faded, not once. All the while Megumi kept sparing you some glances as he did his own project, you could see his notes from where you were seated.
They were neat and his handwriting was so much more cohesive than his brother's but Yuuji had his own charm. Being so forward and not afraid to express himself wasn't something you could ignore.
The common room had emptied itself out before you could notice and all three of you had an empty stomach, the grumbling coming from each was enough proof.
"Now that we made some progress, can we pay your services with some dinner? You down for ramen?" Megumi suggested, leaning towards you just a tad before he stood up to take a big stretch.
"Only if you're buying, I gave out my allowance yesterday.." Yuuji pouts, leaning back towards his seat, Megumi flicking his forehead accordingly.
"Idiot.."
Your eyes were stuck on them while your hands closed the books just to have them organized. You couldn't look away - similar tattoos, the slight difference in hairstyle, their demeanor - each little detail of the two had you stuck like a magnet and ultimately you agreed to dinner.
A couple of weeks pass and rumors got to spread around campus suggesting that you were a slut, being seen with the twins for all this time made you their little sex slave but it's not something you paid much attention to since it had happened before.
"What the fuck is this?"
Megumi would be the first to find out about the rumor as the word slut and sex slave were written in black and red on your dorm door, visibly angry at the stupidities one would go to to sabotage someone he's considered special.
"Ah, don't worry about it, it's nothing." You shrug it off while unlocking the vandalized door, he'd stop you mid way leaning against the frame while turning you to face him.
"To me it's not."
He was close, your hand would lay down on his chest to see if it calmed him down like it did Yuuji but to not avail "Megs.. I'll report it to the RA and call it a day, yeah?" You'd tell him softly, your heart beating a lot faster than normal. He'd get closer, whispering "That's not enough.." his free hand wrapping itself around your waist to bring you even closer to him.
"Aniki.."
Megumi would pull away from you to reveal Yuuji standing in the middle of the halway, making your eyes widen "Yuuji.. This isn't.." You stammered, pushing the eldest away “This isn’t what I think it is, right? Is that what she’s trying to say, Aniki?” Megumi looks over at his brother, scoffing lightly.
"And if it is? What the fuck are you gonna do about it?"

Confession
You immediately pull your hair apart from the thoughts overtaking you, messing up the curls and braids before a deep exhale exits your body.
"It's impossible, Nami, he's never actually looked at me the way he looks at other women since we've been back. Why would he anyway?"
The orange haired woman sent out a huff as Robin let out a small laugh within their dimly lit space, stepping out of her desk and over to where the two of you were sitting on the floor against the shared beds. The Sunny would rock back and forth lightly as the waves crashed against it as some light rain hit the small windows of the bedroom.
"Men are quite predictable, especially our cook, perhaps he's just not wanting to give you a hard time . ."
"Huh? A hard time? He was treating us all the same from the start, Robin, what could've possibly changed . . ?" Nami interrupts, thinking of what really changed between the two of them. The crew had just reunited in Sabaody and have been out at sea for a day. All you could think about was how he blatantly ignored you as he ran off to the sight of a woman after two years of not seeing one, allegedly.
“You know what? I’ll ask him.”
“Aren’t the boys already asleep?” Robin’s curiosity grew slightly, considering that being any amount of bold is unbecoming of you, watching as you stood up and stepped over to the door “He wouldn’t mind being woken up by a lady, now would he?” You all giggled almost in unison with your hand on the doorknob, slowly twisting it over before taking a few steps under the rain.
Halfway through your barefoot walk, you feel a blanket draped over your head.
“You’ll catch a cold, Mon Cherie.”
He whispered, your body frozen in place, a small puff of smoke passing nearby gave away that he was a few inches behind you. It wasn’t long for him to curse under his breath because of the rain, making the attempt to light the damp cigarette once more.
“I thought you’d be asleep . . since you lost some blood.” You’d turn around as you spoke to him, hoping that he was listening now that you faced each other “I’m fine, don’t worry.” He brushed it off, making you groan before getting a firm hold of his wrist to walk over to the common area that displayed their aquarium, bringing some towels and an unopened package of cigarettes.
“Thank you.”
You couldn’t take his nonchalant act anymore, it made your blood reach a boiling point, knowing that you waited those two whole years for your lifelong crush to not treat you the same way he did Nami and Robin.
“You don’t like me, do you? And if you do, what don’t you like?”
“What are you talking about?” He scoffed, following a cigarette pinned between his lips and carefully lit up, you would watch him look back at you as the small cloud of smoke was blown off. His gaze was hard to read, all one could see in him was the lack of sleep, seeing his torso lean back on the furniture as the fresh dry towel laid over-top of his blonde drenched hair.
“You haven’t spoken to me at all, not once. You better have a good reason.” Your arms would then cross under the blanket as you waited for his expression to soften, his cheeks and ears clearly red from the possible answers he kept brewing up in his head.
After a few minutes of silence settled in he stood up, towering over you slightly, seeing his expression soften.
“I don’t think you understand . . You’ve . . been misunderstanding this. It’s not that I don’t like you - Actually it's quite the contrary.” His hand would grab your jaw gently, assuring you don’t look away from his gaze, you notice a shift in his once rash tone.
“I do like you. Why do you think I don't call you by your name, hm?"
"Maybe because . . you know . . " He didn't let you mumble your small doubts further, moving the cigarette away from his lips, leaning a little closer to you. Exchanging breaths and looks under the white noise of the rain, it was too hard to actually go against him.
"Why do you think I suggested for you to come food shopping with me, huh? Because I missed you." His tone would soften once he expresses his longing but you don't buy it.
"Prove it, then." You'd exhale, laying a hand on his shoulder, almost wanting to push him away but a part of you wanted to keep him close. Both hearts raging in your chests to keep each other near this once but you couldn't trust your instincts knowing that you feel this intensely for him and his words didn't pair with his actions.
"Kissing me won't be enough so don't fucking try it."
Proof
After months of barely speaking to one another after that rainy night, all you could really do is overthink & doubt as the waves were the only thing to bring you back to any sort of joy - even Luffy was starting to notice you weren't being your usual impulsive self.
"Has he said anything to you, Captain?"
"All he's really directed at me was meat. He's been as quiet as you." He'd hum, resting his chin onto the palm of his hand, looking out at the waves.
"You sure you don't want to talk about it? You're both being weird and it's hard to think of anything else with how worried you're both making me." You'd sigh at his mumbled words, shaking your head at his offer, considering it really wasn't something worthy to talk aloud anymore. You felt like you said enough that one night and the days before, to burden your captain with something you considered foolish wasn't worth your time.
"I see land ahead! Let's stock up on food and supplies."
Two years ago, new land would've excited you, making you the first to get off the ship after Luffy made the run off into the unknown and Sanji would chase after you, every-time.
This time was different with you being the second to last to be off ship since Nami begged for you to tag along with her in search of some village and reluctantly, you agreed "There might be some people that could tell us about this place, you'll never know." She'd smile as you walked between Robin and herself through some trees and onto a pebbled path that led to a few houses.
After reaching the market, you could feel a pair of eyes on you, with each step you took - a shadow followed. It made you skeptical but it really wasn't something for the others to worry about.
"I'll meet you girls at the ship, yeah? There's something I gotta check out." The two would nod at your request as you walked further into a crowd trying to lose the tail. You kept walking faster, the more you went through the closer you felt that presence.
It was starting to get annoying.
Once you reach a dead end, you finally see the face of a depraved and sick man, one with a taller stature than your own "I've seen your wanted posters, you look so much more beautiful in person!" Even if it didn't scare you, it attracted a taller man, one you couldn't stop thinking about for many nights. The one blonde who couldn't stand seeing you in any danger.
"I suggest you get lost, sicko."
"Huh?" Was all the man would say before Sanji disposed of him with a good three kicks, knocking him out of the alley with minor burn marks. His hand slithering their way around your waist to pick you up bridal style.
As he walked away from the crowd and the alley, you started to protest "Do I have to remind you that I can fight just fine?! How many times do I have to tell you that shit, Stupid Cook!" He soon set you down, holding the side of your face to catch your lips with his own, your ears burning up while your hands settled on his chest, giving into the kiss that disrupts reality.
The hand holding the small of your back pulled you closer, naturally deepening the kiss before he pulled away from it slowly, putting his cigarette back in between his lips to take a breath of smoke.
"What was that all about?" You ask softly, taking deep and concise breaths as your heart ran a mile a minute "You told me to prove it, didn't you?"
His eyes had wandered away to blow off the smoke to soon turn back to you.
"You wanted me to prove that I have feelings for you as much as you do for me and so I did." He'd lean in to give you one more reassuring kiss.

"Akira! Hey! Where are you going?"
His shoulder blades got to expand slowly before he let out a breath, stopping himself to turn to you, his gaze slightly darker than normal.
"Probably going to the theater room, you comin'?"
He's been out of character since he got to school. Today he looked taller, toned, his voice even got deeper which made his remark of leaving homeroom chilling at best. Why would he want to skip class now? He never wanted to, what's gotten into him?
"Come on.."
His hand overlapped yours significantly, pulling you out of the classroom and into the halls that were crowded by all the girls in school, the cause being the guy who kept guiding you into a dark room.
Your body went stiff while his chest leaned closer, making sure the lock clicked, your nose being greeted by a musky yet familiar scent.
"My bad.." Akira leaned back a little to look at you, taking a small breath of relief "I just couldn't handle being stared at anymore.." He grumbled, his arms slowly wrapping around your waist, hugging you nice and close.
You would understand if it was a friendly hug like those you would give him when you greet each other but this felt different.
"All the girls really like you.."
Your tone was soft almost like a whisper in his ear which made him hug a bit tighter once your hands were around his neck.
He used to tell you about how nice it would be to go out on dates with someone all the while watching those romance movies you would always gush about after school. Despite that, he never got the attention from other girls in his class because of being scrawny and not their type.
Now that he's got it, it turned out to be overwhelming "I don't really like them that way.." He whispered, his hand carefully moving over to pet your hair "Not the same way i like.." With the hesitation came the questions.
"Who.. Wait you like someone?"
Your excitement rose up, pushing away your nerves and making the hug a bit more loose to look at him, this time a smile emerged from your lips "Is it Mika? Or is it another person from our class? I mean they're all really nice so.."
"No, it's not them, I told you already.." His hand slowly moved to your cheek, his gaze softening "I don't see them the way i see you."
The silence grew as the room got a bit darker as you looked at each other "How do you see me? If it's so different.." His thumb slowly caressed your cheekbone as he admired your features for longer.
"I really like you." He smiled softly with a chuckle that followed as he got closer.
"My heart pounds harder when i see you & each time we're close like this my body gets chills. It's exciting, you know?" The smile grew as he brought you closer to his chest, leaning forward and letting his lips melt onto yours. It made your heart jump out of you as your hands laid on his chest, all the while his hands held your head gently.
With the small hum that slipped out of you, the kiss was interrupted from loud banging on the door, girls piling up on the other side which made the two of you laugh, your hands slowly moving to his shoulders.
"I've always had feelings for you. It was almost impossible to tell you before.." the voices got a bit louder, interrupting your response.
"Akiraaa come on! Let's go to the arcade after school!"
"Girls! Back to class, go on now." It made you both laugh even more, staying in the room a little longer for more.
Aftermath
You kept thinking about earlier, it was almost surreal thinking that he likes you and his kisses were more than proof. As gentle as he was with you, it was almost impossible not not think about things if they escalated in that room, the thoughts invaded your head till midnight.
"Hey! Stop!"
You heard someone familiar from your window, leaning over to it to see him being followed by your ex who was almost always near your front door.
"What the fuck do you want, huh?" Akira was covered in blood, his shirt practically ripped to shreds. You quickly ran outside, fully focused on Akira more than the other man that kept asking questions, attempting to grab his arm as well as pushing him.
"Stop!" Was all you managed to say before he turned around to look right at the creep.
A raging growl came out of him before his fist could knock the man out in practically seconds.
"Leave me the fuck alone!"
He pounced on the smaller male, alternating punches going straight to his head, you could hear him begging until Akira broke his bones and growled louder. The man was already dead once his organs were being splattered all around.
It didn't matter how many times you told him to cut it out, he didn't stop. You were scared that if you pulled him out of there, you'd get hit too.
Akira kept going until his head was no longer there, only remnants of it as the fingers and legs twitched from the impact.
You could feel your breathing hitch, your body still a few steps away from the pool of blood around Akira, who was heaving after his last punch that reached the pavement.
"You didn't.. Why..?" You mumbled as he looked over his shoulder, his features hiding in the splatter of red and black "He was pissing me off."
Your eyes widened at the simple response before he spoke again.
"Plus he kept bothering you, didn't he?"
You hate that he's right, you wanted to kill your ex yourself but you didn't have the guts to do it.
After all this time you got used to being stalked, getting phone calls and even emails that proved why you left him in the first place.
"Akira.."
You kept your eyes on him as he stood up, slowly trying to maintain his balance, landing into your arms once he was in front of you.
"I'm tired.." his sticky hands held onto your waist while you took a few steps back and into your house, eventually reaching the bathroom.
Once he was in the water filled tub, you took the liberty of getting in with him to clean the remaining blood and matter off of him.
The silence was almost unsettling knowing how calm you were, it made you wonder if you had any humanity in you left, your hands carefully caressing his features "I have something to ask you.." He mumbled.
"What is it?" You whispered
"Are you mad that i killed him?"
The question made you gulp your own saliva, your hands moving away from him as you let out a sigh.
"I'm not, actually." His eyes were glued to you but you kept avoiding them "But that wasn't you.. was it?"
He took a moment to hold your cheeks in his wet hands, leaning in closer to you as the water overflowed and spilled out, your eyes directly looking at his own. Both of you could feel your hearts pounding.
Was it the adrenaline? Your nerves getting the best of you..?
It has been hard for me to talk about how what is going on with Israel and Palestine is affecting me personally, but I grew up in Gaza and most of my family still lives there. My father did not survive the bombings last week and I have not been able to contact my younger sister in days. I am try to being understanding that most people do not have personal connections to what is happening and therefore are justifying their silence, but is heartbreaking to see this misinformation being spread. What’s happening there is a genocide, not a war. It is not antisemitic to support Palestine, it’s not even antiemetic to criticise Israel. There is no grey area or neutrality regarding this, and it is so easy to find resources that will educate you on the subject. It is my people and my home being destroyed so I will never be silent about this, but I please urge everyone to get informed and start speaking up and finding ways they can help.
