Lost Boys fandom (specifically musical), I say this with all the love in my heart. But please stop saying Star has braids when describing Maria’s Star.

Star’s hair is in LOCS (not dreads, never call them dreads). There is a distinct difference between braids and locs, and what Star has are not braids!

I am fully aware that this could be a very fickle thing to be upset about, but as a mixed person in America (where people can get fired due to their hair in just a little less than half the states), it really irritates me when we mislabel a black woman’s hair.

This is not a callout, this is just a gentle plea to please use correct terms when describing Star’s wonderful locs.

i saw the lost boys matinee yesterday (2nd row) and here are some things i remember from act one

during no more monsters, LJ completely missed the pinky promise and he and benjamin were trying very hard not to laugh

ali and i made eye contact too many times to count and i was so intimidated

ali played david so horny yesterday, he shoved the cloth that he wiped michaels blood with like fully up his nose and whined

there are some cute posters on the video max counter, like cat sitting and a blood drive poster

ali whine-growled "i like you, michael"

take my heart with you was so gay

on the album, ali's vocals are much louder than everyone elses during take my heart with you, whereas live they are all equal

when lj opened the fridge he checked how stable the shelves in the fridge were 😭

i must have missed davids body roll during secret comes out when i saw it the first time cuz it caught me so off guard i literally gasped

there were some other small things that i missed the first time i went, but im sure they are all captured in most bootlegs
