Only 2 more Clinical Rotations left this semester....

Is this real life??? Lol this semester has flown by, which I’m thankful for. Only 2 more OB rotations and an ATI standing in between me and my last semester 🙂

What type of Nurse do I want to be?

I used to be set on being a NICU nurse, but now I’m not sure. It’s still an option, but I’ve found that I like a few other areas. We had to choose 3 areas for our preceptorship next semester, I put Critical Care, NICU, and the ED. It will only be 12 12-hour shifts, so even if I don’t like the area I’ll know not to apply there. I also plan on applying to my local hospital’s new grad nurse residency program. It basically lets us sample different specialties and by the end of the orientation we can decide what floor we want to work on, which is super dope!

The end of school is approaching, and it’s so weird to think that I’m almost done 😫 because I’m lowkey changing my mind about where I want to work, it’s starting to freak me out lol

I’m late but...

I’ve always wanted a nursing school blog. And now I’m in my 4th out of 5 semesters (Well the end of the 4th 😂) and I decided to start it 🤦🏾‍♀️ but oh well haha. Hopefully I can still shed some insight into the nursing school world!
