When Fred and George Weasley realize they have fallen for the same girl

The “Jinx” synchronicity: They both came to it at the same time, sitting at dinner in the Great Hall. They both turned, saw the same girl at the same time, saw the look on each other's faces, and stopped dead mid-sentence as the realization hit them like a Bludger.

The Silent Agreement: They didn't argue. They had a silent, telepathic standoff in the common room that lasted a full ten minutes, until they both sighed together and decided, "May the best twin win."

Comparison Game: For three days they secretly compared notes on what they knew about her, only to learn they knew precisely the same obscure facts, her favorite flavor of Bertie Bott’s, say, or her least favorite professor.

Sabotage Etiquette: There is an unspoken rule of etiquette that they follow strictly. They may hide each other’s robes or lace each other’s sock with itching powder, but they must never directly insult each other to the girl. It is an even competition of charming the girl.

The “Tag Team” Method: Most times, they end up sabotaging themselves because one of them attempts to win her over, and the other comes in with humor, only for them to find out they have ended up laughing her off completely because of their actions.

Double Dater Confusion: They often “accidently” ask the girl to join them to visit Hogsmeade on dates, but it usually ends up in a way that makes her think she’s meeting one, but ends up meeting both, not knowing they were planning the whole thing while competing for her heart.

The War of Gifts: Soon enough, they started competing with one another through their joke shop creations. While Fred gives her a singing flower that responds when touched, George immediately finds himself in his workshop by midnight creating a color-changing necklace depending on her mood.

Shared Secret: It’s impossible for the two brothers to hide anything from each other since they’re twins. They have reached a stage of such aggressiveness that they start evaluating each other’s actions much like how sport commentators do. “Seriously, Freddie, that line sucked. You could’ve done way better than that.”

The Wingman Dilemma: Sometimes they end up acting like wingmen for each other. If one says some witty remark to win the girl’s heart, the other will come in to complete the thought in such perfect timing that both of them charm the girl away. They despise their cooperation at these moments.

Secret Alliance: Should there be an attempt of wooing her by someone else outside the brotherly duo (such as the Slytherin or a rival suitor), then the war between the two stops instantly, and together they work towards sending the third party away, after which the war resumes again.

Heartbreaking Awareness: They know what the other one feels at all times. For instance, whenever she finds the joke that Fred cracked funny, George gets jealous, but on the other hand, he gets proud of his brother. This brotherly duo is the best supporter but the toughest opponent for each other.

Imitation: The twins have observed that while in her company, they tend to imitate each other's body gestures more than they normally would, making her uncomfortable.

Late Night Discussions: The pair spends a lot of time awake in their dorms discussing what they love about her. They have realized that they love the same thing about her, which increases the inevitability of their situation.

Pooling Resources: At some point, they had to start sharing their money to get her gifts, explaining that "efficiency" was the reason, but the real reason behind this is that both of them are afraid of giving something that she might love more than what the other has.

Ultimate Sacrifice: Both have already agreed with each other that in case she chooses one of them, then the other would silently back off in order to preserve their brotherhood, despite the fact that it is very difficult for them.

Sirius Black Dating a Hufflepuff Girl (Headcanons)

Absolute Dedication: The Ultimate Protector Sirius is fiercely protective of what’s his, and because you’re a Hufflepuff, he sometimes worries people will take advantage of your kindness. If anyone ever gets rude to you in the corridors, they’ll find themselves on the receiving end of a hex before they can finish their sentence.

His Safe Haven: The Black home was cold and cruel. The Hufflepuff common room (and you) are everything he never had. Warmth, safety, unconditioned love and plants. He’s always sneaking into your common room, claiming that the yellow couches are “just better.”

Loyalty Meets Loyalty: Hufflepuffs are known to be loyal and Sirius values loyalty more than almost anything else. The second he knows you've got his back no matter what, he's completely, utterly a goner.

The Marauders’ Mascot: James, Remus, and Peter adopt you immediately. James loves that you keep Sirius grounded, while Remus appreciates having another civilized person around to help handle Sirius's dramatic mood swings.

Studying (Or Attempting To): You try to be a good influence and drag him to the library. He spends 10 minutes trying to study, gets bored, and resorts to drawing caricatures of Filch on your parchment or staring at you until you blush.

His Favorite Hype Woman: Sirius loves playing Quidditch, but he loves it even more when you’re in the stands wearing a ridiculous mix of Gryffindor red and Hufflepuff yellow just for him.

Padfoot Taming: When stressed or overwhelmed by family drama, he’ll become Padfoot, come find you, and plop his giant dog head in your lap. He'll sit there for hours while you scratch behind his ears. That's his favorite way to unwind.

Late Night Kitchen Raids: Your common room is next to the kitchens, so you two are the undisputed kings of midnight snacking. You know how to tickle the pear to get into the kitchens, and the House-Elves love you, so Sirius is treated like a king by association.

Public Displays of Affection: He’s SO touchy. He’ll have his arm around your shoulders in the Great Hall, random kisses on your temple in the busy hallways, his hand always finding yours under the table.

Protecting Your Honor: When Sirius hears anyone call Hufflepuff the “leftover house,” he’ll go on a long, dramatic rant about how Hufflepuffs are the bravest and most badass witches at Hogwarts.

Soft Softness: Behind closed doors, away from his "cool guy" persona, he is incredibly gentle with you. He’ll play with your hair, listen intently to you ramble about Herbology, and let his guard down in a way he doesn't with anyone else.

Dating Ron Weasley (Headcanons)

The "Study" Sessions: If you're stressed about classes or just life in general, Ron is the master of distraction. He will force you to close your book or stop whatever is you're doing, make you a massive mug of tea (with too much sugar), and spend two hours playing Exploding Snap or Wizard’s Chess until you’ve forgotten what you were worried about. You've honestly gotten really good at both games.

Constant Food Sharing: You will never be hungry around him. He is constantly offering you bits of whatever he’s eating, even if it’s just a piece of toast or a smuggled Honeydukes sweet. He shows love through snacks. Has a secret stash of snacks under his bed that are designated as your 'study' snacks.

The Height Difference: He is perpetually awkward about his height. You will constantly catch him trying to slouch to make it easier for you to talk to him, and he will turn bright red if you ever point it out. It's even funnier if you're already short. You will sometimes make it look like you're craning your neck to look up at him.

Public Displays of Affection: He’s not the type for grand, dramatic gestures in public. Instead, he’s all about the 'protective' touch, a hand firmly on the small of your back in a crowded shop, or constantly checking to make sure you’re walking on the safer side of the pavement. Will casually pull you towards him if he sees a crowd walking towards you. You're always within arms reach of him. Even if he's not directly touching you.

Quidditch Enthusiasm: He will insist on taking you to matches, even if you don't care about the sport. He will spend the entire game explaining the nuances of the plays to you, and he’ll hold your hand the entire time, gripping it a little tighter whenever his team is about to score. He will let you wear his quidditch jersey. When he started playing quidditch himself, it made him insanely happy to see you in the stands cheering for him.

The Morning Struggle: He is not a morning person. You will become very accustomed to watching him stumble around in the morning hair in every direction, blindly reaching for his clothes while still half-asleep. It's actually quite funny to watch. It takes him a solid hour to sometimes 2 hours depending on how well he slept to actually fully be functioning.

Secretly Romantic: He’s terrible at buying expensive, fancy gifts, but he’s incredible at remembering the little things. He’ll find a book you mentioned you wanted three months ago or show up with your favorite takeout on a random Tuesday (If you two are out of Hogwarts) just because he "thought you looked tired." You will curl up and eat and talk about whatever. Usually quidditch lets be honest.

The "Sweater" Thief: Ron lives in his hand-knitted sweaters. Eventually, you will just stop buying your own lounge clothes because you’ll be permanently wearing his oversized, slightly scratchy, handmade knitwear. It does something to him when he sees you wearing his sweaters. It makes him very happy. He gets this grin on his face.

Competitive Gaming: You will learn very quickly that you cannot play board games with him without a heated (but affectionate) argument. He takes games deeply seriously, but he’ll always let you win the final round just to see you smile. Wizard Chess gets very intense. He will result to making really bad jokes to try and distract you.

Late-Night Conversations: The best part of your day will be the hour right before bed. No matter how busy the day was, he’ll recount every ridiculous thing that happened in class or the Ministry (again this depends if you two are still in hogwarts or not), usually making you laugh until your stomach hurts.

Complete Loyalty: If someone is rude to you, Ron doesn’t just defend you, he holds a grudge for the rest of his life. He is the most fiercely protective person you will ever meet, and he will never let you feel unsupported. It's actually hilarious it'll be like a month later and you've already forgotten about and you'll run into that person that upset you and Ron is still upset for you.

The "Hand-Holding" Habit: He is a chronic fidgeter. When you’re sitting together, he needs to have contact with you. He’ll be constantly playing with your rings, tracing your palm, or just linking his pinky with yours. If you're curled up reading he will actually grab your legs and put them in his lap so he can touch you. I mean you get a foot rub so it works out.

His Vulnerability: He’s guarded about his insecurities, but with you, he’s honest. On the days when he feels like he’s living in his brothers' shadows, he’ll just come over, put his head in your lap, and need you to remind him how much he’s accomplished. This usually consists of your fingers in his hair and you telling him he's his own person and he is nothing like his brothers. He honestly probably fell asleep from the head scratches.

Family Inclusion: Being 'official' with Ron means being adopted by the Weasleys. You will never have to worry about feeling like an outsider; within a week, Molly will be force-feeding you leftovers and Ginny will be using you as a confidante. You know you're an official Weasley when Molly sends you your very own Weasley initial letter sweater. You're still stealing Ron's though.

The "I Love You" Evolution: It took him a long time to say it first, but once he did, he never stopped. He says it in the quietest, most sincere moments, while you’re brushing your teeth, while you’re reading, or just while he’s watching you walk across the room. He won't go to sleep without telling you. He tells you first thing in the morning. He holds your face and looks you in the eyes when he tells you, especially after a long and exhausting day.

Dating a Hufflepuff (Headcanons)

Domestic Bliss: They turn any space into a "home." Expect warm blankets, fresh-baked treats, and a general atmosphere of comfort and safety. Their house always smells like a bakery and it's the best thing ever.

The Anchor: When your life is falling apart, they are the steady ground. They are excellent listeners who don't try to fix things immediately, they just hold space for you. They'll let you vent for hours without interruptions. They patiently sit and nod.

Acts of Kindness: They do the "little things" that matter most: making your coffee, filling your gas tank, or sending you a song because it reminded them of you. They will always make sure you're well fed and drink plenty of water. You will never go dehydrated around a Hufflepuff.

Loyalty: They are the ride-or-die partner. They aren't flashy about it, but they will never abandon you when things get difficult.

Communication: They prioritize clarity and kindness. They would rather have an uncomfortable conversation than let resentment build up over time. There is rarely yelling. If things started to get heated they recommend taking a break refueling and coming back to the discussion once you have both calmed down. They refuse to go to bed unless the conversation/argument is settled.

Gifts: They pay attention to the tiny details. They will remember that one thing you mentioned wanting six months ago and surprise you with it. You could have seen a necklace while you two were out and mentioned it was really pretty. They got it for your birthday 4 months later. You probably already forgot about it but they didn't.

Patience: They are incredibly patient with your flaws. They see the version of you that you want to be, even when you are having a bad day. If you're having anxiety or a panic attack they will sit with you and either hold your hands or just stay close depending on how you feel about touching. They won't tell you to get over it or try to downplay how you're feeling. They will stay with you until you've relaxed. It doesn't matter how early or how late it is.

Shared Interests: They love doing activities together. Gardening, cooking, or binge-watching a show, it doesn't matter what it is as long as they are by your side. You two probably have a book club..I mean it's just the two of you but it still counts!

Boundaries: They are kind, but they aren't pushovers. If you hurt someone they love, you will see a side of them that is fiercely protective and surprisingly intense.

Growth: They believe in progress over perfection. They will celebrate your smallest wins with just as much enthusiasm as your biggest achievements.

Dating a Ravenclaw (Headcanons)

Intellectual Intimacy: Their form of foreplay is debating philosophy, physics, or history for hours until 3:00 AM. Where you dead asleep? Yeah get ready for a debate. Get some tea or coffee. Why do they have so much energy for this at 3 AM?

Curated Dates: They don’t do standard dinner and a movie. They will take you to an obscure museum, an old observatory, or a bookshop that only the locals know about. It's always nice though. Let's be honest a standard dinner and movie can get real boring. They always make sure you're enjoying yourself.

Quiet Quality Time: They often get overstimulated. Dating them means spending a lot of time in comfortable silence, both of you just reading in the same room. You guys are that couple that can go hours not talking to each other without it being awkward, you're both content just being in the same room with each other.

Love Notes: Instead of "I love you," they will leave sticky notes everywhere with obscure facts, beautiful poetry, or sketches of you. You'll open the cabinet to get your mug and there'll be a sticky note to it. It's a great way to start the day. If they get you to smile it's worth it.

Emotional Processing: They struggle with raw, messy emotions. They will try to "logic" through an argument rather than feeling it, which can be frustrating but deeply endearing. It might be a struggle at first but you soon realize this is just how they are and you've learned how to get through most arguments with them.

Support: They are the ultimate researchers. If you are stressed about something, they will compile a three-page dossier of solutions and resources to help you. Let's be honest if you're already stressed the last thing you want to do is read a list of solutions but you know they're coming from a place of love so...just deal with it?

Gifts: Expect books, vintage maps, or something they spent weeks crafting by hand. They value utility and sentiment over monetary value. The minute they see you eyeing a book? They're buying it for you. They love reading the same book as you. You two will have long discussions about the book after you finish it.

Growth: They want to see you evolve. They will encourage your hobbies and push you to learn new skills, often wanting to be your student or your teacher. They get so proud of you when you learn a new skill or they'll take genuine interest in your hobbies especially if you're explaining it to them or showing it off.

Individuality: They don't want a partner who just nods along. They want someone who challenges their perspective and introduces them to new ideas. You can be so open around them. Don't be afraid to voice your opinions. They love it. Especially if it leads to them viewing/learning something differently.

Space: They need autonomy. They aren't the type to be joined at the hip, and they will love you more if you have your own separate life and interests. Now this doesn't mean they don't want 1 on 1 time with you! This just means that they don't feel the need for you two to be all over each other 24/7. Grand Gestures: They are unapologetically dramatic. They will make big, public declarations of affection that will leave you blushing but feeling incredibly special. They are the assholes who will also 1000% let the restaurants know it's your birthday.

Adrenaline Junkies: Dating them is an adventure. Expect spontaneous road trips, hiking, or trying things that are slightly—but safely—dangerous. Don't worry they would never do anything that could possibly end in death. So you're good. Totally...

The "Knight" Complex: They want to save you. They will jump to your defense before they even have all the facts, simply because you are their person. You could be ranting about a coworker who upset you or irritated at and they're nodding like "yeah we hate them."

Stubbornness: Arguments are frequent and loud, but they never hold grudges. They will yell, vent, and then be ready to move on five minutes later as if nothing happened. You two just got done fighting and they will sit next you to you like nothing happened..."so we gonna watch this movie now?"

High Energy: They are constantly on the move. You need to be able to keep up with their pace, or at least be willing to be dragged along for the ride. They are moving so much that sometimes they'll forget you're with them.

Physical Affection: They are very touch-oriented. Expect constant hand-holding, hugs, and being pulled into their lap in front of everyone. They don't care who's watching. They're ALWAYS touching you. If they are getting looks they give a look back. A don't be jealous look.

Honesty: Sometimes they are too honest. They don't know how to sugarcoat, so if you ask for their opinion, you are going to get the blunt, unfiltered truth. So I really hope you're not sensitive. You just have to remember they're not being assholes. They're just very straightforward.

Encouragement: They are your biggest cheerleader. They will stand at the front of the crowd screaming for you during your presentations or games. It can get embarrassing. Let's say you're a soccer player (whatever you want) and you score? They are screaming, cheering, and dancing. Would totally make a sign.

Risk-Taking: They don't fear failure. They will encourage you to quit the job you hate or apply for the position you think is "out of your league." They will spend hours talking to you about it and encourage you. When you finally make the big move? They are with you 100% of the way.

Heart on their Sleeve: You will never have to guess how they feel. If they are mad, you'll know; if they are in love, the whole world will know...I mean the whole world.

Dating a Slytherin (Headcanons)

The Power Couple dynamic: They love being seen with you. Expect to be included in their schemes and social maneuvering, as they view you as an extension of their own ambition. In other words..they're obsessed with you.

Acts of Service: Their love language is almost exclusively acts of service. They will "fix" your problems before you even realize they are problems. For example you might have a library book due that day but are so many things going on at once..they will bring the book back for you before you even realize it. Don't make it a big deal.

The "Us Against the World" mentality: They are fiercely protective. If anyone dares to slight you, they will quietly and systematically dismantle that person’s reputation. It won't be immediate either. It will be something they do slowly. That they do every single day..by the end of the week that person is done for. SO SMUG ABOUT IT. Has their arm around you watching the scene.

Private vs. Public: In public, they are polished and composed; in private, they are incredibly clingy and demand your undivided attention. They're like a cat I swear. You'll be reading or literally do anything but giving them attention and they'll invade your space, smack things out of your hand, and scoffing until you look at them.

High Standards: They expect you to be just as driven as they are. They find nothing more attractive than you winning an argument or succeeding in a task. You could be in a heated argument with someone and they'll be standing behind you looking so proud. Like get wrecked loser.

Intense Loyalty: Once they have decided you are "theirs," they will never let you go. It is a suffocating, passionate, and incredibly devoted kind of love. I hope you like obsessive and possessive. Jealous but Slytherins have their own kind of jealousy. Death stares. Fully confident will throw hands if it gets too far.

Gifts: They don't buy cheap trinkets. Expect high-quality, thoughtful, and often expensive gifts that demonstrate they know your exact taste. Don't expect gift cards or money. They pay attention. They know exactly what you want even if you don't know you want it.

Debate: They love a partner who can challenge them. They will push your buttons just to see how you respond, finding your wit more attractive than your looks. Will ragebait the hell out of you just to see you argue with them. It's so attractive. Your sarcasm towards the stupidest comments or even just eye rolls...that's a post for a different time.

Quiet Moments: They value privacy immensely. Their favorite dates are ones where the rest of the world is shut out, usually involving fine wine or high-stakes conversation. They are intense listeners. If you're talking they are all ears. No cutting you off and no phone. They are actively listening to you. Eyes remaining on you.

Ambition: They will push you to reach your potential. They won't coddle you when you fail; they will analyze why you failed and help you do better next time. It can be extremely frustrating but you know they're doing to help you and not to be a dick. You're stronger and smarter than you give yourself credit for and your Slytherin is just helping you see that. Even if you want to punch them 80% of the time.
