Goodbye Twitter

As I'm writing this post, my Twitter timeline is full of people saying goodbye to people they've connected with and others posting their links to other platforms. While we all somehow knew this was coming, I can't help but to feel sad.

Twitter was a great equalizer for people to promote themselves and grow an audience so they could make a living doing what they loved. But for so many, it was a place where they could find community. And I think that's what makes me so sad because I'm not sure we'll see something quite like that again.
