â Yeah, the regular   would  be great.  â She knew that Rubyâs mother didnât seem to enjoy being around herâor people in general so she tried to be as pleasant as she could to the woman, knowing change is hard, especially when you donât like people, or felt like you didnât belong. â Thank you. â

The woman seemed to hardly look at the blonde. Her dark green eyes seemed to stare at her paper for a moment longer than needed, honestly she just didn't want to make contact with the younger woman. She didn't need to write anything down, she knew Emma's order. It was to strange not to, so she put the small pad and pen back in her apron's pocket. She was lucky to even get to be out here on the floor, she should at least try to be nice. As the woman said thank you she counldn't catch her next remark fast enough.
