âAl⊠Al⊠Earth to Albus.â Rose groaned at her cousinâs unresponsiveness. She waved her hand in front of his face to gain his attention, she needed to vent about one of her rude patientâs at St. Mungoâs and couldnât really do it if he wasnât paying attention. âAre you even listening to me? First you leave me alone for seven years in gryffindor and now you donât even care about my days,â she pouted to try to concel a smile. The whole you left me alone argument was a never dying one, even if it was now a joke. âWhat has you so distracted anyways?âÂ
Rose startled him as her hand waving before him managed to bring him out of his thoughts, a sheepish, yet small, smile pulling at his lips before he responded; a sign of embarrassment that was only confirmed further by the slight rosey tone that grew upon his cheeks. âSorry Rose --- Iâve been zoning out a lot lately, nothing personal.â Sighing he shook his head, glancing down at his drink. âNothing particular.â It wasnât true, but he wasnât sure if he was ready to even admit his current distraction to himself. âPlease continue, I promise Iâll give you my full attention this time around.â Albus lifted his head, forcing a proper smile.
