Alter Bridge - Calm the Fire (Live at The Fillmore Silver Spring, 2017.)

So about two years ago an amazing Reddit user combined two videos from this performance for the best video/audio quality - credits for said video and audio goes to Elizabeth Owens and Jim Powers - sadly that Reddit user deleted their account, but you can find the original post here. Calm the Fire is one of my favorite AB songs so stumbling upon this video again on my drive while sorting through some other stuff made my day.

This video of mine with the audio from Jim Powers is recirculating at the perfect time: AB is returning to that exact same venue just six days shy of the sixth anniversary of when this all happened! The last time they played Silver Springn in 2017, I was building a gig photo portfolio on my @elizabeth-owens account that was good enough to submit to any proper music review outlet that would have me. Now, in 2023, I've a gig photographer and review writer for ConcertCrap.com since 2018! Let's just say you should keep your eyes peeled for coverage of the upcoming AB gig on that site. 😉

Yes! I'll be on the lookout for that review!! And thank you so much for shooting that video and sharing it in the first place. It's my favorite live performance of that song, and the way it's filmed, you definitely feel like you're part of the audience! Very excited for the upcoming pics and all that good stuff of the US tour <3
