Mousefur: Depression And Deputies

Mousefur is a pink nose, a bushy dark ginger she-cat with unusually long front claws. She is a ThunderClan warrior.

Firestar sent for Mousefur from RiverClan, to become a warrior. She entered the Clan's nursery at a very early age and was promoted to deputy when she was about four moons old.

Mousefur and Dustpelt have been together since they were both very young. They grew up in the nursery and got along with each other very well. Dustpelt helped the nursery group as best he could, and Mousefur was always there to look after him. Their friendship lasted through their first and second full moons of apprenticeship. Then, when Firestar announced that he would promote both of them to warriors, Firestar asked the apprentice leader, Graystripe, if he would recommend Mousefur. Graystripe took a moment to consider. "I think it would be hard for you, for one, and also for us to make it official and have two apprentices in the same Clan," Graystripe told Firestar. "I'd be against that, even if you ask me. I would say yes, if you choose her, but I can't make you, that's up to you." Firestar agreed, and Mousefur was officially promoted to warrior.

Mousefur was given the responsibility of being the medicine cat for the entire Clan, when the previous medicine cat, Squirrelflight, became pregnant. She helped Squirrelflight with the pups, and was given the name Mousefur by Squirrelflight.

When Firestar was injured by a rogue patrol, Mousefur was in charge of looking after him and the Clan. She helped to patch him up, and put him back in the nursery. Although there was danger to the Clan from the rogue patrol, Mousefur made sure the Clan were safe, and got plenty of rest. Mousefur's first real battle came when she led the warriors to kill the rogue patrol, and the entire Clan gathered round her afterward.

After the fight against the rogues, and before Firestar returned to ThunderClan, Mousefur gave her apprentice, Dustpelt, his warrior name.

When Firestar was injured by the WindClan rogue patrol and came back to ThunderClan, Mousefur helped him to recover, but the Clan knew it would take time for him to be fully fit again.

At the end of the first Longest Night, Mousefur was with the patrol that went to help the Clan that was under attack by Fourlegs. Although Mousefur helped to fight off the badger, she ran back to help Firestar when she heard that he was injured. She didn't want to see him hurt again.

When Fourlegs came back to ThunderClan, Mousefur helped him to fight off more badgers. When they were done, Firestar led a patrol to kill Fourlegs, and Mousefur helped carry the body back to camp.

Mousefur's name means "mouse fur".

Relationships

Her best friend is Dustpelt. They have been together ever since they were born, and Mousefur is very protective of him. They often act as a team. Mousefur used to have a relationship with Sandstorm, but when Sandstorm joined the ShadowClan, they stopped talking to each other.

They are close friends with Crowfeather, and often spend time together. They were like brother and sister, but Mousefur decided she was too old to be considered a sister. They are a good team; Mousefur is strong and very fast on her paws, while Crowfeather is very smart and thoughtful. When they are competing against each other, they always work together and sometimes they do a race between the two of them.

Mousefur has some problems keeping a steady relationship. On her journey to join ThunderClan, she started to fall for a warrior in a different Clan. Unfortunately, they could not be together because he was already betrothed to a different cat.

Mousefur still cares for him and they spend time together when they are on their own.

She is wary of Tigerclaw and doesn't trust him. It is because of that that she's not a good friend to him. They don't talk to each other, and just glare at each other if they do meet.

Mousefur is not a very friendly cat, and sometimes it is hard to get along with her. When they were on patrol together, they didn't get on that well because they kept arguing with each other, even when they were alone.

Mousefur does not like Firestar, and thinks that he is too soft. Firestar's mother, the deputy, Ashfoot, taught him how to run and fight and Mousefur thinks that Firestar knows too much and that he hasn't lived up to his responsibilities as the Clan leader yet.

The three main enemies that have to be killed in a battle are:

Badger: It is the number one enemy in the forest. They are so quick and dangerous, and sometimes they will take a cat that they mistake for prey. Mousefur was so angry when they brought a dead badger back to ThunderClan camp.

Thrushes: They always nest in the same trees, and are very noisy. Mousefur didn't like them at all.

Fourlegs: Firestar didn't like them either, and he led the ThunderClan warriors to find and kill them. Mousefur thought that Firestar was being too aggressive.

Mousefur is very brave, but she is still not as courageous as her father, Brambleclaw. In the movie it was said that she didn't know how to fight and didn't want to learn. When she and Crowfeather were sent to find Brambleclaw, they couldn't fight the two badgers, but Mousefur had to run for help.

Mousefur is very friendly toward Crowfeather, but she doesn't trust him. She never thought that he'd betray ThunderClan. She thinks that he's a traitor for leaving and she was angry with him when she found out.

When Firestar promoted her to warrior, she was shocked, because she wasn't expecting it. She only wanted to learn to fight, and wasn't prepared to do any other jobs in the Clan. This led to an argument between her and Dustpelt. She told him that she wasn't prepared to do anything else than fight. When he replied that it didn't mean that they had to do it alone, she took it badly and ran off. She found Squirrelflight, and took her back to camp. Squirrelflight was happy to see Mousefur, and the two cats have since become good friends. Mousefur helps Squirrelflight out, and looks after her when she's having kits.

Mousefur often tells other cats about ThunderClan. Sometimes, the other cats don't believe her because she talks so much. Mousefur likes telling the truth, but she's a bit afraid that other cats will think she's mad.

She has a deep feeling of sorrow when she thinks about the time she was on her journey to ThunderClan. She never managed to find out where her Clan was and she thinks that she'll never find them again.

She feels a deep sense of loss when she hears about Brambleclaw's death. She knows that she will never see him again. She doesn't know if he's dead, or if he's in the spirit world.

She doesn't like the way that Tigerclaw leads the Clan, because she thinks that the Clan needs to be led by the deputy, Firestar. She also thinks that it's unfair that the Clan leader's deputy gets to share the Clan leader's medicine cat position. Mousefur isn't really interested in being a medicine cat, she just wants to be a warrior.

Mousefur feels that when the Clan is in trouble, it's the medicine cat's job to help the Clan.

After Brambleclaw's death, she doesn't have much chance of making new friends, because she doesn't know any new cats in ThunderClan, but Squirrelflight has been very friendly to her and she has made a few friends in RiverClan.

Mousefur wants to leave ThunderClan. She knows that she doesn't really belong there, because her family has left her. She would like to live in another Clan, but is too afraid. She doesn't want to lose Dustpelt, but she's too scared to go anywhere and risk him being taken from her.

Tallstar: Hawkfrost Is a Menace To Society

Tallstar is a plump black-and-white tom with emerald-green eyes. He is the leader of WindClan, a position he has held for over a year.

Background

Tallstar was born near a stream with a marshy scent. His father had been a black-colored cat with a yellow marking over one ear and had died after a battle with ShadowClan. Tallstar never learned his father's name. As a kit, Tallstar was raised in the badger den. The badgers thought Tallstar to be a "pretty kit" and tried to take care of him.

When he was old enough, Tallstar made his first patrol with the WindClan warriors. At first, he was only assigned to follow the elders, but after a while he was allowed to take part in battles. He was soon fighting alongside his mentors to protect their Clan.

After WindClan began to grow in strength, the former leader Fuzzypaws retired and gave his territory to Tallstar. He led his Clan to many new territories. One of his first was a huge marshy marsh by the river. To help the cat, Tallstar set a trap in the marsh and waited for prey to try to cross. A badger crossed, fell into the trap and the jaws of the trap snapped around it. The badger was quickly eaten. This was the first time that WindClan was successful at hunting prey.

Tallstar became more powerful when he was given authority to lead WindClan. His Clan was growing rapidly, and he was soon challenged by a rival clan leader named Hawkfrost. They challenged each other in a "fight to the death." After much fighting, the two Clans ended up leaving each other with no injury. Then, Tallstar's own Clan started fighting with another Clan. When they were told about what was happening, they tried to mediate. While they were trying to settle their differences, the fighting started again, which led to a new battle between the two Clans.

The two Clans went to a meeting place. At the meeting place, the Clans went to a place where a cliff divided the two Clans. Tallstar made the sign to the meeting place and Hawkfrost started to lead his Clan down the cliff. When they got to the place where the cliff was lowest, Tallstar made a sign to stop. Then, Hawkfrost and his Clan tried to run to safety. When they had reached the lowest place, Tallstar's claws sank into the ground. Soon the fight was over, and WindClan had won.

One of the best things about Tallstar is that he tries to make all of his Clans happy and to make sure that there are no problems in the Clans.

Relationships

A cat called Swiftwhisker, who had been a friend of Tallstar's when he was young, came to visit. He told Tallstar that a new group of Clan cats called ShadowClan were about to attack WindClan. As leader, Tallstar was aware that his Clan could be defeated, but he wanted to know if the Clan cats could protect their Clans without help from the rest of the Clans.

To try and convince his Clan to help the other Clans, Tallstar went with Swiftwhisker to try and convince the WindClan Clan leader, Hawkfrost, to join with the other Clans. Hawkfrost still refused to help his own Clan. In the end, Tallstar's Clan ended up defeating the ShadowClan cats and killing many of them.

Two Clans called LakeClan and RiverClan wanted to meet with Tallstar. The LakeClan leader, Shadowstripe, wanted to make friends with Tallstar so that RiverClan would stop fighting with them. Shadowstripe believed that if Tallstar visited his Clan, it would convince the RiverClan leader that it was safe to be friends with the LakeClan Clan. Tallstar agreed to meet Shadowstripe at the border of WindClan's territory.

When Tallstar arrived, he met Shadowstripe and RiverClan. All three Clans seemed friendly toward each other and there were many friendly meetings and visits. Eventually, Tallstar's Clan was attacked by WindClan. The WindClan cats fought with ShadowClan and RiverClan, but were outnumbered and lost. Soon the whole Clans were fighting against each other. The two Clans were once again forced to meet and to talk things out. When they were all sitting together, all four Clans were attacked by a huge army of cats. The fight lasted a long time and both sides got hurt.

Tallstar told his Clanmates to wait until the fighting was over before going after the prey. They waited for almost a whole day. When Tallstar went to lead his Clan out of their hiding place, he had only one cat with him. Tallstar was attacked by one of the leader of the Clan cats and badly injured. When Tallstar heard the leader calling his Clanmates to attack Tallstar, he knew that he could not stop the Clan leader. He led his Clan as far as he could go.

He led his Clan up to the tallest part of the forest and waited. He thought that if he left his Clan, they would all end up dead, but at least it would be their own fault. He could not bear to see his Clan die, so he stayed by himself. Eventually, he ate the mice he had been hunting and fell asleep.

A cat came to talk to Tallstar. The cat introduced herself as Spottedleaf and told Tallstar about the medicine cats. She told him about the medicine cat training in the old ThunderClan camp. He agreed to go back to the camp to learn the best way to heal.

Tallstar was well known at the ThunderClan camp. They were very kind to him, and he quickly became part of the Clan. Tallstar taught his medicine cat apprentices how to protect the Clans. When he was in the forest, he told his apprentice a long story about four Clans who were all very different from each other. Tallstar wanted the medicine cat apprentice to understand how it was possible to live with four very different Clans.

Cloudtail: Talk Mouth

Cloudtail is a lithe, muscular, light brown or silver tabby tom with unusually long tail and green eyes. He has short hair and a tufted tail which he keeps in an erect posture.

When Cloudtail is on patrol, he is usually accompanied by a number of his Clanmates.

As a young cat, Cloudtail lived on a peaceful farm. He was captured along with his sister and brother by ShadowClan. Cloudtail and his sister stayed on the farm, while his brother disappeared.

As a kit, Cloudtail was raised by the ThunderClan medicine cat, Brambleclaw, in the forest. There, Cloudtail's litter-mates included another young, lithe tom, Brambleclaw's apprentice, Ashfur. Cloudtail had been named "Cloudtail", when he was very young. After he had been fully grown, Ashfur also became Cloudtail's apprentice. Cloudtail never took a formal apprentice, but he often helped Ashfur when he was a mentor.

Cloudtail was raised to be a good warrior and in some ways more experienced than the rest of his Clanmates. He was always loyal and protective of Ashfur, who had been adopted into ThunderClan after being taken from ThunderClan as a kit.

Cloudtail has helped other cats, who have no Clan to call their own. One of these cats was Spottedleaf, who lived in the Moonstone, a huge, ancient piece of meteorite. Another was Gorse, who lived in Twolegplace. He had lost his Clan, the Clan of Badgers, when a badger set fire to his camp. Cloudtail nursed him back to health, which led to a close friendship between them.

Cloudtail has helped a fourth lost cat, a cat called Storm. He discovered her on the edge of his territory when she was badly injured and unable to speak. He took her into his home and gave her the care she needed until she was strong enough to escape.

The only other thing Cloudtail knows how to do is speak. He learned this when he was in his litter-mates' den. There were three of them. Cloudtail and his sister, Ashfur, were together, and beside them was Brambleclaw, who was to be Cloudtail's mentor.

Brambleclaw called out for the two kittens to come to him. When Cloudtail padded forward, the Clan leader patted him. "You're a fighter, Cloudtail," he told him. "But you have something you can learn, too. Look what your sister's doing." Ashfur, who was crouching beside his littermates, turned and mewed.

"Tell me, Ashfur," Cloudtail's mentor said. "What's that scent?"

The scent rose on the air. "Snow," Ashfur mewed, and Cloudtail knew his friend was describing the scent of the falling white flakes that would herald the arrival of the leaf-bare season.

"That's what you smell?" Brambleclaw asked. "Well, there's a lot more to Cloudtail than his fighting skills."

"That's true," Ashfur agreed. "He speaks for all of us."

"Yes, he does," Brambleclaw agreed. "He was already speaking to us, in fact, before the litter broke. All the time."

Cloudtail was surprised to find that he could talk. He started to purr. He remembered watching snow fall on a windy day when he was just a tiny kit. The snowflakes seemed to dance in the breeze and he was afraid the flakes would land on him.

"You can talk now," Cloudtail purred, in case it was not clear to his Clanmates that he was making a joke. "And you can talk louder," he added.

When Ashfur asked him what he meant, Cloudtail explained that he was sure he could make his furrows of fur speak louder, too.

Cloudtail and Brambleclaw thought it was a good idea. Brambleclaw told the two mews, "We're going to try. We'll mew 'TALK MOUTH' and Cloudtail can say 'WALK MOUTH', or 'ROAR MOUTH', whatever he wants to. All you have to do is say 'TALK MOUTH' as fast as you can."

"Can I be the one to mew first?" Cloudtail asked Ashfur.

"Of course," Ashfur replied.

"TALK MOUTH," Cloudtail mewed, quickly, trying to see if he was getting the rhythm right.

"Talk," Ashfur mewed, as if he were responding to a question.

"TALK MOUTH" mewed Cloudtail.

Dustpelt: Omega Mouse

Dustpelt is a stripe of darker fur, a thick tail. He is a ThunderClan warrior and, along with his mate, Bluestar, is one of the founders of the Clan. He was born an Omega Mouse, a mutant left over from a battle with other Clan members and his mother. He was adopted by ThunderClan as a young, barely grown cat. He is very independent and stubborn, and a bit paranoid. He can be very harsh when he has to be, but otherwise a kind and generous warrior. His best friend is Snowkit, his apprentice.

History

As an Omega Mouse

Dustpelt is an Omega Mouse, and was once the only one of his kind in the forest. Before the Clan was formed, there were only three Clan cats, who found the mouse-like animal too small to eat. They tried to make him useful by trapping him in cages, but he began to feel he was a prisoner, and they tried to starve him.

Dustpelt's mother came to see him one day, with a group of others, and they all became friends. They lived in peace for a time, until one of the elders, a young cat called Swiftpaw, tried to drive them from their home. The elders knew they could not force them, and Swiftpaw had never been more than a troublesome, rebellious cat, who liked to torment the smaller animals.

When he realized the mouse-like creatures were a threat to their safety, the elders agreed to let Swiftpaw stay in the forest. But it was an uneasy truce, and they never found any real peace. In the end, a young mouse-like cat named Brightheart saved them. Brightheart was herding rabbits when Swiftpaw came after them, and fought him. Brightheart was wounded and Swiftpaw fled, leaving her behind. When she didn't return that night, the elders sent a group of cats to look for her. Brightheart didn't survive.

Many generations later, Dustpelt was born to a mother who had been killed in a tree by a hawk, and to an elder named Clearwater. Clearwater was almost crippled when he was born, and was taken in by the elders to live with them, but his wounds never healed properly. He grew up with the Clan, but was very different from most. He was quiet and thoughtful, and never spoke to other cats. He often looked after Dustpelt and his mother, until they were taken by the elders. Clearwater was too weak to fight, and had only a small, wounded paw to protect himself with.

Dustpelt and his mother lived in a cave in the territory of Cloudtail's Clan. They were well treated, and lived a comfortable life. When it was decided that the Clan had to go into the trees, Dustpelt's mother didn't want to leave, but the elders decided the Clan had to move. Dustpelt found it frightening, for the trees seemed to press against the sides of the hill as though they were coming down. They climbed as far up the hill as they could, and at last reached the top.

The Clan members and their leader, called the StarClan, were horrified to find how small the territory was. The Clan could barely cover the ground with their pawsteps, and the trees seemed to crowd in on them from every side. There were too many cats for the tunnels to hold them, and some of them fell to the ground, dying from hunger.

When the Clan realized how much territory they had lost, they were terrified. They didn't know if they would be safe. Then StarClan came to them. StarClan promised them they would be safe. The Clan would be protected by their leader, a young cat called Bluestar, and by the two cats she called her apprentices, Firestar and Graystripe. The two apprentices would lead the Clan and help them find their way through the forest. Bluestar, Firestar and Graystripe would watch over them always.

Dustpelt's father was too old to join the Clan, so he stayed with the elders. He cared for Dustpelt's mother until she died, and helped Clearwater to look after himself. But when he heard that the three elders were taking their apprentices away, he decided he had to go with them, because they couldn't stay by themselves.

Dustpelt, just a young cat, was not afraid of the forest, but he felt he was a bit lost. His father and mother died before he and his father-in-law found each other again. He missed his mother terribly, and he didn't like being alone with his father-in-law. He didn't want to be the only cat who stayed in the cave when the Clan came out of the tunnels to look for their new home.

The new Clan leader, Firestar, and his apprentice, Graystripe, tried to understand him. Firestar saw that Dustpelt was afraid of the forest, but they managed to persuade him to stay. It helped, too, that Bluestar and the elders allowed him to make his own choice about staying or leaving.

Bluestar wanted all the Clans to stay together. It was her vision. She had been very close to death, but she came back, and she could now lead her Clan as they started to live on the ground. It was Dustpelt who helped her to realize how badly things had gone wrong. He told her what she had been told by StarClan, and she remembered that she had been born to save the Clan.

With her wisdom and courage, Bluestar made new lives for all of them, and became leader of the Clan. She took all her cats with her, and they traveled to their new home, which was called WindClan.

Longtail: To Tigerstar and Back

Longtail is a small dusky brown tom with amber eyes. He is a ThunderClan warrior and follows the Tigerstar code.

"Longtail, you're so lucky! You know what? I was sure my kits would have lots of kits, like all the Clanpets did, but the three I'm getting are really special and special kits, like all the others that ThunderClan has."

Longtail is an apprentice warrior. His mentor is Cloudtail. His medicine cat is Rainfall. He is described as being tall with a long tail. He is nicknamed Longtail.

Longtail was born on the Moonstone and lives in RiverClan. His father is Cloudtail and his mother is Feathertail. He has one sister, Ferncloud, who is a RiverClan cat. Longtail's first words are told to be "mew" and "meow". Longtail was born at the time of the Moonstone's cat ceremony.

Longtail is introduced in the fourth book. He is very good friends with Daisy and Sandstorm. He takes good care of his sister, Ferncloud. He is a ThunderClan cat and follows the Tigerstar code.

Longtail is a friend of Daisy and Sandstorm, and the two have a friendly rivalry. The three are on the verge of a friendly feud with Crowfeather and Cloudtail over the fact that Daisy is a "tomboy" but they have never gotten to the point where they fight.

In The Sighting, it is revealed that Longtail was born at the Moonstone and is the son of Cloudtail. In The Gathering Storm, he and his sister, Ferncloud, get separated from the Clan, due to ThunderClan's attack on the WindClan camp. Longtail gets knocked out of ThunderClan territory and is last seen watching the Clanmates of ThunderClan take off in their new leaf-bare trees.

In To Tigerstar and Back, Daisy's father, Sandstorm, reveals that his mother had died at her first hunting test in the forest, and he found his father, Cloudtail, looking for her. After Cloudtail takes Daisy to the new Lake and tells her that she is now a RiverClan cat, he decides that he needs to leave his Clan for good and go back to live with his son, Longtail, at the Moonstone. Sandstorm leaves a note for Longtail.

In Tigerstar and Shadowstar, Longtail lives with his sister at the Moonstone. He is the leader of his Clan and Cloudtail is his deputy. Longtail is angry and disappointed when he finds out that Daisy and Sandstorm were in danger after leaving ThunderClan. Daisy says that they wanted to stay with ThunderClan, but they couldn't do so after the cat she was travelling with was taken by a cat who claimed to be from ThunderClan.

In The Midnight Clear, Cloudtail leaves on a hunting trip with Ferncloud and the other RiverClan cats. Ferncloud and Longtail visit ThunderClan to tell them about Cloudtail's departure. They are greeted by Darkstripe, Crowfeather and Leafpool, who tells them that he thinks the two Clans might be forced to fight if something is not done to make peace.

In Lionheart, Longtail, along with the other ThunderClan cats, leave to rescue the ThunderClan cats that Daisy and Sandstorm were with.

In Broken Claws, Longtail, Ferncloud and Rainfall reach ThunderClan to find Daisy and Sandstorm have been captured by the ThunderClan cats. Cloudtail tries to find a way to rescue them and finds the RiverClan cats when they escape. As a reward for rescuing Daisy and Sandstorm, he gets an extra day with Ferncloud. They all return to the Moonstone to continue Longtail's medicine-cat training.

Longtail was the ThunderClan warrior who fought against the Lake tribe to try to save Mistystar, Squirrelflight and Hollyleaf. At the battle, Longtail saved the life of his leader Mistystar by bringing her down and saving her from the Lake Tribe cats.

When Longtail leaves on the quest to find the lake, he goes to get help from WindClan. He arrives in time to save ThunderClan cats from the fire. He then meets a medicine cat of the Moonpool, who he asks for his help to help ThunderClan. The medicine cat agrees and they have a battle to save the ThunderClan cats. Longtail beats the medicine cat. He meets the WindClan leader, Windstar, at a ThunderClan camp and joins WindClan.

He brings food back to ThunderClan in order to win a battle with the Lake tribe warriors. Longtail is attacked by a cat. He is saved by ShadowClan cats.

Redtail: Tigerclaw remains a menace to society

Redtail is a pink nose, a heavy, snowy-white tom with silver-and-black tabby with unusually long front claws, and a stripe of darker fur, and yellow eyes. A ThunderClan tom, born in ThunderClan. Redtail grew up as a hunter among the forest creatures of the ThunderClan territory, but as he grew older, his love for his Clan was greater than his love for his hunting. He never joined another Clan, but in ThunderClan, he became the closest friend of Ashfoot, leader of the clan, who died because of his love for Redtail.

Appearance and Personality

Redtail is the only Clan cat who is called to the medicine cat's paws, and who, like Ashfoot, is never seen in the day time. He is large for a tom, and is very tall.

A ThunderClan deputy who was born in ThunderClan, Redtail is a strong hunter, who loves to follow the hunting calls of the Clan, but he was also trained by Firestar to fight from a very young age. He also loves his clan, as he showed when he left ThunderClan in order to find Ashfoot.

When he left ThunderClan, his Clanmates gave him a great deal of praise. "Redtail has always been strong, but there's no mistaking what he's made of now," Tigerclaw told Crowfeather, who found him in a ThunderClan camp, near the river. "I think he'll be a good leader, and so will you. You'll find him strong in the ways of the warrior code, but more open to new ideas. He's not like any other ThunderClan cat. Even though you're a deputy, I still think you should keep a warrior's eye on him."

Redtail was happy to have found Ashfoot, but he was sad to leave ThunderClan. "It was good to be part of ThunderClan, to share hunting and fighting, to learn new ways and to be with my kin," he told Firestar. "And I know Ashfoot would've been proud to know that I found you and was chosen as your deputy."

The two cats spent two moons hunting together, and Redtail showed all his skill and experience in the forest. He always found a place for a small kill, and helped Ashfoot to bring fresh-kill into ThunderClan's territory. When they finally returned to ThunderClan, they were told that Ashfoot had been found at the edge of the forest, dead and cold. Redtail had loved Ashfoot very much, and Tigerclaw admitted that he knew Redtail would miss the old ThunderClan leader.

Redtail took his deputy duties seriously, but he was also worried about his Clanmates, who were going through very hard times. Firestar decided that the Clan was still strong enough to carry on without a leader. He appointed Redtail as deputy, and it was a great relief to many of the cats in ThunderClan.

As deputy, Redtail was often troubled by what was happening in the Clan. "I keep thinking about what happened to Ashfoot," he told StarClan. "The other Clans have been so busy fighting each other, they haven't thought about how hard it is to be in one Clan."

Redtail's deputy responsibilities were not easy. He was responsible for all the patrols, as well as being in charge of the warriors during battle and raids. He had to organize the warriors and make sure that they trained properly. He was also in charge of the supplies, which meant getting the Clan's fresh-kill and carrying it all the way back to the camp. "I have so much to learn," he told ShadowClan, "but it will be easier to learn it here, than if I tried to learn it at home."

One night, Redtail was out on patrol, following the border of ThunderClan's territory and listening for the signals from ThunderClan warriors. The patrol went beyond the border and was caught by a group of ShadowClan cats, led by Tigerclaw. ShadowClan had been hunting near the ThunderClan border, and they accused Redtail of trespassing on ShadowClan land. Redtail denied this, but Tigerclaw didn't believe him. "You don't have the skills of a warrior," he told him. "You should have stayed in ThunderClan. The Clan needs strong warriors."

Redtail was scared, because he was sure that if they gave Tigerclaw reason to attack, he would not be able to fight. "I'm not trying to hide that I'm not a great warrior," he replied. "But I'm still a cat who was born in ThunderClan. I can fight better with my Clanmates than with strangers. If I'm attacked, I'll be able to fight back."

Redtail didn't know if he was right, or whether Tigerclaw had guessed what Redtail would say. If he went with ShadowClan now, Tigerclaw would not let him come home.

But when Tigerclaw's patrol arrived at the border of ThunderClan's territory, the deputy's courage came to the fore. "Tigerclaw has trespassed on our territory," he declared. "This patrol will cross the border, and fight as ThunderClan warriors fight."

The patrol crossed the border, and the ShadowClan cats attacked. They were much larger than the ThunderClan cats, and at first Redtail could do nothing to stop them. In desperation, he leaped onto a boulder in the center of the clearing and began fighting them, using his teeth and claws. The ShadowClan cats could easily overwhelm the much smaller ThunderClan cats, but the Clan's deputy gave his all. His only hope was that help would arrive in time to save the Clan from annihilation.

When it became clear that the ThunderClan patrol was doomed, the ShadowClan cats turned and fled across the border. "Thank StarClan," Redtail breathed.

Redtail was very upset about what had happened. He felt as though his Clanmates had deserted him, and his only satisfaction was that he had been able to warn Firestar about the danger of the attack.

Tigerclaw had told Redtail that he wanted him dead, and so he was furious when Firestar let the deputy live. "You can't trust a cat who thinks he's too good for ThunderClan," he spat. "It shows just how much the Clan needs leaders like you, who stick up for what they believe is right."

The Clan was too badly mauled by the ShadowClan cats to recover quickly. While most of the injuries to the Clan were small, a few cats lost their lives, and Redtail was one of them. He did not come home to mourn his Clanmates, because by now he knew that none of them would survive another attack. The other cats would be too scared to fight, and Tigerclaw would certainly order them to retreat. He couldn't be part of such a failure, so he did his best to hide his grief from the other Clans. "My wounds will make me seem weak," he told Firestar when he returned home. "You need to tell them I have been struck by a thunderbolt, or they'll think I'm too weak to lead."

StarClan was kind to Redtail, but they could not cure the pain he felt in his heart. He missed his Clanmates, and he missed Ashfoot, who had been his mentor and friend.

It was a cold night, and Redtail's wounds were frozen and sore. He felt sick from the pain in his body, and he couldn't eat his usual share of prey. He told Firestar that he wanted to return to ThunderClan to be near Ashfoot, and he begged him to let him. "He was the cat I loved most, but it isn't my choice whether I stay in ThunderClan or go back home," Redtail told him. "But he would be glad to see me back, even if I'm not strong enough to lead."

As the warrior left for ThunderClan, Redtail turned back to Firestar and asked, "How can I lead if I can't stand up for the Clan?"

The next night was very stormy, and the lightning hit the ThunderClan territory and lit up the sky. Redtail took shelter by the ThunderClan border. He knew the Clan was preparing to leave the forest, and it scared him. How would he manage on his own? But he also felt his Clanmates and friend were waiting for him there. He felt calm, even as the winds lashed the trees, until the moment when he saw a pair of eyes reflecting in the storm, and he knew the Clan cats were waiting for him, too.

"Thank you for coming back to ThunderClan," Ashfoot said to him. "You are one of my chosen cats, and I have left you my ThunderClan name. If you ever want to become a warrior, then you must go back to your Clan, and ask your Clanmates to be your friends and allies."

Redtail said he would never leave ThunderClan, and that he was proud to be a ThunderClan warrior. But he still couldn't eat any prey, and he knew he would die soon if he didn't eat soon. "I'm sorry I'm too weak to lead," he told Ashfoot. "I'm sorry that I couldn't protect you from Tigerclaw's attack."

Spottedleaf: ThunderClan lore gets wilder

Spottedleaf is a stripe of darker gray she-cat with white chest and thin-furred dark ginger she-cat with thick, sleek fur, and a brown tail and long front claws, and wide ice-blue eyes. She is a ThunderClan cat, and is part of the tribe ThunderClan, though not very active in the tribe. She is also a member of her former clan.

Introduction

Spottedleaf is a ThunderClan cat, and is part of the tribe ThunderClan. She is part of a very small group of ThunderClan cats who, along with the clan leader, Oakstar, were all born and raised in ThunderClan. After the Clan is attacked by WindClan, Spottedleaf decides to leave her life as a ThunderClan cat and join WindClan. However, on her first night with them, she finds that she does not want to be a WindClan cat. She returns to ThunderClan and lives for many moons as a ThunderClan cat. Eventually, she learns the names and personalities of her former Clanmates, and they help her to feel at home again. She decides to remain with ThunderClan.

Spottedleaf is the only cat in the series that has been given a full name. She is named after Spottedleaf, the leader of WindClan in the first book. It was originally announced that the cat in question was going to be Thunderclan's leader, but changed when they realised that it would be too difficult to give a cat so powerful a name.

Personality and History

Spottedleaf's personality comes from ThunderClan cats of the past. She is the only cat to do this, since all the other cats are from the present.

When she was born, her father was a ThunderClan warrior, named Starlight. He was chosen by StarClan to live in the sky in a big nest near the sun. He saw the birth of all the other Clans and could feel his Clanmates' sorrow when the other Clans attacked ThunderClan. However, he wanted to make his Clan safer, so he left the other Clans and stayed to watch over ThunderClan. One day he left his Clan, saying he had to warn StarClan about something. He didn't return and his ThunderClan Clanmates grew sad and worried. His kin were worried too, and told StarClan of Starlight's disappearance. This made StarClan angry, and they punished ThunderClan for following their cat and punished Starlight by leaving him with a new Clan. ThunderClan became known as StarClan.

Spottedleaf stayed with StarClan when her father left ThunderClan. Her ancestors, the other StarClan cats, were impressed by her strength, courage, and skill. She went to live with them, and they showed her what her duties would be as a StarClan cat. Spottedleaf agreed to become a StarClan warrior. She chose the name Spottedleaf, since she was a striped tabby cat. Her eyes were blue, her fur was spotted with white, and her paws were spotted with black. The other cats had blue eyes, no spots on their fur, and blue paws, and they were called ThunderClan. Spottedleaf had the duty to stand on watch over ThunderClan. Her Clanmate, Cloudpaw, was born after Spottedleaf. She watched him grow up and knew him well. Cloudpaw was the only other cat who knew the truth about the StarClan cats. Spottedleaf did not tell any of the other cats what her father had told her.

After the attack by WindClan, Spottedleaf's thoughts were with her Clan. One night, she saw WindClan in the moonlight and realized she wanted to join them. Spottedleaf found her way to WindClan and spent time with the cats. She met her new Clanmates, and learned to love them. Spottedleaf realized she did not want to be a WindClan cat, and she made a decision. She made her way back to ThunderClan and stayed there. In WindClan, Spottedleaf met a brown tabby, Mistyfoot. The two cats became friends.

Spottedleaf soon joined a new Clan, ThunderClan. She had a new home, a new life, and a new family. She lived with a whole Clan and made new friends. After Spottedleaf returned to ThunderClan, they had not seen her brother for many, many moons. It made them sad, but they tried to stay strong and make the best of things. Their father, Longtail, had died in a battle with RiverClan and had never come home to see his Clanmates again. He was a good warrior, and his death had saddened the Clan.

Spottedleaf helped out with the Clan as well. One night, she had a dream. She dreamed about her brother, who told her that RiverClan wanted to kill him. She woke up and went into the forest to tell her Clanmates. They decided that they needed to make a special plan to protect their brother, Spottedleaf's brother. The rest of the Clan was too busy to deal with this crisis, so Spottedleaf decided to go and fight RiverClan herself. Spottedleaf was furious, so the other cats in the Clan were furious, too. Spottedleaf went alone into the Thunderpath and met RiverClan. She fought against them and won. The Clan did not know about this, because they were too busy making war preparations. However, when Spottedleaf returned, she told her Clanmates what had happened, and they realized that they would have to help their brother. Spottedleaf's dream came true. They found RiverClan and attacked. Spottedleaf helped to defeat the cat who held her brother. He escaped, and Spottedleaf's brother rejoined the Clan. They were safe again.

Spottedleaf never forgot the other cats in her Clan who had helped her when she was fighting RiverClan. When she was older, she wanted to find those cats, and she told the other ThunderClan cats to look for the cats that had helped them when they were being attacked. They all found their friends.

Spottedleaf told her Clanmates about the cats she had found. She showed her Clanmates the names of all of her friends in WindClan and ThunderClan, and the cats who had helped her. Spottedleaf also told her Clanmates that the four clans had been created by StarClan. All of the Clans were needed by StarClan, since they are all needed to keep balance in the forest.

After the attack on ThunderClan, Spottedleaf told her Clanmates about her time with the StarClan cats. She told her Clanmates that she and the others would never forget how much ThunderClan owed them. The four Clans were supposed to stay together.

Spottedleaf grew up. She learned new things about the forest, and she learned what she was like as a ThunderClan cat. She decided to stay with her Clan, and she made new friends. Spottedleaf grew up and became a very strong cat. Her paws were thick and strong, and her fur was thick and warm. She decided that she would hunt and protect her Clanmates. When they were at the top of their powers, they went into battle. Spottedleaf led them into battle and won. They would not have been as strong if she hadn't led them.

The rest of Spottedleaf's story begins when, as an adult, she goes on her first hunt. She has become a very strong, tough warrior. After her first hunt, she thinks she might like to go back to WindClan, but she realizes that she has responsibilities here in ThunderClan. She wants to keep safe. She knows that ThunderClan needs to fight for its territory and that this is what she has to do. Spottedleaf thinks about it and decides to stay in ThunderClan.

Appearance and Abilities

As a young cat, Spottedleaf's fur was golden-brown. It is gray at the beginning of this series. It is striped with white and dark-brown stripes. She has wide ice-blue eyes. Her fur is thick and short. Spottedleaf stands on her hind legs and has a big pointed head. She has a strong jaw and thick white fangs. She also has wide paws with thick black claws.

When she was born, Spottedleaf was a tabby cat, but as she grew, she became more spotted. She has long whiskers, which have a thin white tip. When she's older, they grow thicker, and become longer. The long whiskers make Spottedleaf's eyes look bigger. Spottedleaf's tail is long and straight. Her fur is black with a white tip on her tail. It sometimes changes to a different color. When Spottedleaf is older, her fur will be a little longer.

Spottedleaf has many different abilities. She can hear the forest at a great distance, and she can always find her way home, even when the sun has set. She is also very good at climbing. She can climb even tree trunks and even a small cliff. Spottedleaf can run very fast. She has many other special powers, but those are for her to tell you. Spottedleaf loves the forest, and she loves all the cats who live in it. She is a faithful Clanmate and always remembers her friends. She will never abandon a friend, and she will protect them and their Clan from enemies. Spottedleaf is loyal to her Clanmates. She will never let anyone down or betray her Clan. She does sometimes let her emotions get the best of her and make her angry and do something that she regrets. She learns from her mistakes and gets herself under control very quickly. She always looks at the good side of everything and tries to do her best.

Family

Spottedleaf belongs to ThunderClan. She has always lived there and has always loved it. She wants her brothers and sister to be with her, but she likes the company of the other cats, too. Spottedleaf has a Clanmate called Mistyfoot. Mistyfoot lives near RiverClan and is always with Spottedleaf. They sometimes fight together against RiverClan. When Spottedleaf thinks about the cats she loves in other Clans, she thinks of her brother. His name is Tigerstar.

This was a book that Spottedleaf had written. She had been telling her Clanmates about her adventures with StarClan. Now she wants to share them with the whole Clan. Spottedleaf wants all the Clans to understand what StarClan is, and to know the truth about their cat ancestors.

Spottedleaf has told the cats that there are four Clans, which have been made by StarClan. The Clans are the FireClan, the ShadowClan, the ThunderClan, and the RiverClan. All of the Clans are good, and they are needed to make the forest work. ThunderClan needs to help RiverClan and ShadowClan, FireClan needs to help the ShadowClan, and so on.

StarClan was once four cats. The four cats were Mistystar, the she-cat who was leader of ShadowClan. Firestar, ThunderClan's leader, was made by his mother, Stormfur, and his father, Brightheart. Mistystar's mate, Rock, was ThunderClan's firstborn. He was killed by ThunderClan. Mistystar was so devastated that she left ThunderClan to stay in ShadowClan. ThunderClan and RiverClan became allies because their leader, Leafpool, had become friends with Mistystar and Rock.

When the other three Clans were formed, the Clans split up. ShadowClan and ThunderClan were enemies. They fought a lot. Lightningstar, ThunderClan's leader, became angry. He fought a battle with ThunderClan's enemy, ShadowClan. He won. He would be a very important cat in the story, but his name isn't included in the story.

Tigerstar is a menace to society

Tigerstar is a big, dark gray tom with blue eyes, fluffy and soft fur. He is a ShadowClan leader, the leader of the warriors.

Tigerstar is the son of ShadowClan leader Raggedstar. He is born into a different Clan, and his father believes that he has been sent into exile from his Clan by a prophecy. Raggedstar believes Tigerstar to be the best of his Clan, but he is actually a traitor. Raggedstar also thinks that he can change his Clan's destiny by making a new Clan, and plans to invade ThunderClan territory to start it.

Tigerstar has a hard, cold nature. This makes it easy for him to think like a warrior in front of his father. He is not afraid to use his power or cunning, which is sometimes in conflict with his loyalty to his father. He has a habit of thinking ahead and planning in secret. This makes him very dangerous, and ShadowClan is threatened by him. He hates the whole idea of cats and how they are. If a cat's life is of less importance than one's destiny, then why should a cat bother to help others?

Tigerstar has the most important position in ShadowClan, as the leader of the warriors. In this position, he is the Clans' strongest fighter, who leads his Clan. He is a skilled warrior, but he is also selfish and power hungry. He is not afraid to make life difficult for other cats, even when they are his allies.

Tigerstar always acts in secret and in accordance with his plans. He is secretive about his life and Clan.

Tigerstar has the ability to transform himself. He was able to do this in the time of WindClan, when he was still young. He is also able to turn himself into another cat—this makes it possible for him to assume their identity. Tigerstar could be his father Raggedstar, or a cat from a different Clan. He can also use his claws to change his appearance, in different ways, such as changing his tail from a black and white stripe to red and white stripes, or growing fur over his back paws, like a badger.

One day, Tigerstar goes to visit his father, Raggedstar, who is leader of ShadowClan. His father is suspicious of him. He wants Tigerstar to do all the dangerous work for him. When Tigerstar returns, he is furious that his father did not trust him enough to let him help him plan the invasion of ThunderClan. He leaves, and his sister, Cloudpaw, follows him. He then enters into WindClan, and turns into a cat called "Windstar". He is then forced to leave, after the ThunderClan warriors kill "Windstar" and the WindClan cats do not believe he is really dead. Tigerstar goes to the Moonpool. He decides that he will never be satisfied unless he has as much power as his father. He plans to kill his father and seize his power.

He visits Stonefur, the ThunderClan deputy, to ask him to lead his own warriors into ThunderClan territory. But while he is there, he kills Stonefur. Tigerstar leaves, but returns to Stonefur's apprentice, Hawkfrost, and demands that he lead the ThunderClan warriors into ShadowClan territory. Tigerstar warns him that the journey is dangerous, and that they may not even get there. He knows that Hawkfrost wants to become the leader of ThunderClan.

Hawkfrost sets out with only four warriors. Two are injured badly when they climb a tree. Hawkfrost's Clanmates have all left him. Tigerstar tells Hawkfrost that he will be killed by the Clans if he is caught, but if he does not want to die, he should leave. Tigerstar offers to become Hawkfrost's mentor. Hawkfrost refuses, but he tells Tigerstar to tell his father that he has gone to join ThunderClan. Tigerstar does this, but he secretly intends to kill Hawkfrost when the time is right.

Hawkfrost reaches the ThunderClan camp, and Tigerstar sees what Hawkfrost has done and calls him back to warn him. Tigerstar then sends a message to Raggedstar, telling him that Hawkfrost has been seen in ThunderClan territory. Raggedstar sends a small force of ShadowClan warriors to kill Hawkfrost. They find the apprentice, and kill him. Tigerstar returns to meet his father in his den. They talk about the news of Hawkfrost. Raggedstar tells Tigerstar that the warrior would have died if not for him. Tigerstar is pleased. He tells his father that the SkyClan border will now be a danger to ShadowClan. Raggedstar orders him to hunt down the SkyClan warrior, Graystripe. Raggedstar tells Tigerstar that he wants a new Clan, but Tigerstar does not know what this means. He suspects that Raggedstar wants to attack ThunderClan, but Raggedstar is lying to him, making it easier for him to kill his father.

Tigerstar visits Graystripe's home to warn him about the dangerous border. He tells the SkyClan cat to leave ThunderClan, and find new territory for himself. Graystripe is furious, but Tigerstar convinces him to go.

Tigerstar meets his father, and they talk about the danger of a SkyClan border. They finally agree that the border must be destroyed, which means going to the ThunderClan camp. Raggedstar tells his son that he will be returning to ThunderClan as a ruler, with new territory. Tigerstar says nothing, and goes back to the forest.

Tigerstar travels to the ThunderClan camp and sneaks into the clearing. He watches as ThunderClan deputy, Hawkfrost, and Hawkfrost's apprentice, Hawkfire, fight a WindClan warrior, Ravenpaw. Ravenpaw has saved Hawkfrost, but Hawkfrost is angry and demands that Ravenpaw leave the territory. Hawkfrost threatens Ravenpaw, and makes a plan to destroy the ThunderClan border and take the territory for himself. He will not have trouble, because he has a Clanmate helping him, an outsider called Graystripe. Tigerstar watches the fight.

The next day, Tigerstar meets Hawkfrost and Ravenpaw in the forest. Ravenpaw asks for help. He has been betrayed by his Clan. Hawkfrost tells him that Graystripe is actually one of ShadowClan. He goes to meet Graystripe. Tigerstar follows.

At last they come to the place where the ThunderClan warriors killed Windstar. Hawkfrost and Ravenpaw find a pile of sticks there. The SkyClan warrior tells them that this is where they came upon them. Graystripe is impressed that Hawkfrost has come to see him.

Ravenpaw tells Hawkfrost that the border is clear and that it will be easy for ShadowClan to cross. Hawkfrost ignores this and asks why Ravenpaw has come to see Graystripe. Ravenpaw replies that he wants the ThunderClan Clanmates to believe that Graystripe is dead, and that he needs help. Hawkfrost promises that his Clanmates will not harm Graystripe. Ravenpaw is desperate, because he does not know what is going to happen next. He sees his chance and says that Graystripe is leaving with his mother, Darkstripe, and her daughter, Mistyfoot. He will kill her, and take the daughter. He has to warn ThunderClan before that happens.

Hawkfrost agrees that it is a good plan. He believes that Graystripe is the traitor. He and Ravenpaw leave the woods, with Graystripe following them. Hawkfrost tells Ravenpaw that he can be his Clan leader. Ravenpaw's eyes grow wide, but he agrees.

Tigerstar hears the meeting, and goes to find his father. They meet in a tree, high above the clearing. The tree is called the Highledge. Raggedstar tells Tigerstar that he wants a new Clan of his own, but Tigerstar will not listen to him. Raggedstar asks Tigerstar if he has seen any cat of other Clans. Tigerstar agrees that there are no other Clans. Raggedstar tells his son that he will be able to change the destiny of his Clan. He claims that he is chosen by StarClan to lead his Clan to new territory. Tigerstar says nothing, but watches and listens.

Tigerstar hears something coming, and sees that it is Hawkfrost and Ravenpaw. They are at the old, dead tree that they called the "Sky Tree", and where they heard that there were cats called StarClan. They leave and wait at the tree. Hawkfrost watches, and sees Tigerstar and his father. He thinks that his father is lying to him about StarClan. Hawkfrost does not think it is possible for a Clan to be different from the Clans they know. He thinks that StarClan is nothing more than a Clan created by his father.

Ravenpaw sneaks up on Tigerstar. He tells him that ShadowClan will attack ThunderClan at dawn. Tigerstar tells his father that the border is unsafe, and they must leave immediately. Raggedstar wants to take some medicine and get his leg fixed, but Tigerstar will not let him. He tells his father to stay safe, and then leaves. Raggedstar looks at Tigerstar. The medicine had not worked; he had lost too much blood.

Tigerstar goes into the camp. He comes across Crowfeather, who tells him that a new ThunderClan cat, Stonefur, has just arrived. Tigerstar does not believe it. He goes to the medicine cat, Spottedleaf, and asks her if she thinks it is true. Spottedleaf says that she can never tell, but she is suspicious.

Tigerstar is angry. He thinks it is unlikely that two new warriors have just joined. He goes to Hawkfrost and tells him that he is going to take on Raggedstar and his new Clan.

Bluestar’s Bidding

Bluestar is a golden tabby tom. He has a large, lean, lithe, pale blue eyes, and long front claws, and yellow eyes. He has fluffy, thick, and wide ice-blue eyes. He is the leader of ThunderClan, and has a calm, easy-going personality, which causes the cats that he has leadership over to follow him.  Contents  Background Bluestar was born to Yellowfang and Hawkfrost in their den. Yellowfang loved him very much, but Hawkfrost didn't. Because of this, Yellowfang didn't want Hawkfrost to have the responsibility of taking care of her kits. She wished she could go with them to join the warrior Clan. At the same time, Hawkfrost wished she could have stayed with him to look after the kits. Yellowfang gave birth to three kits. She stayed in the nest, and watched Bluestar, the biggest of the three, and she became very attached to him. When she was ready, she left to join the Clan, but not before making sure Bluestar was all right. She watched from a distance as he grew into a sturdy, clever and brave kit. She was impressed with him, and she saw his future as a great leader, just as his father was. When Bluestar was old enough to leave the den and hunt with his mother, Yellowfang decided to follow him. It was a big decision, and she felt worried about leaving him for a long time. When Bluestar was about three moons old, his mother Yellowfang died of exhaustion and hunger. Hawkfrost and her kits came to visit Bluestar in his den. It was difficult for them to leave her, but it was clear they wished to, and they went to join the Clan. Growing up Bluefur, one of the WindClan cats, became friendly with Bluestar, and they stayed with the ThunderClan patrol for a few days, and then made their way to the Clans' new home. At the time that ThunderClan was still a young Clan, Bluefur suggested they should have a gathering to welcome new cats into the Clan, so the adults would meet with the younger cats. Bluestar liked the idea, and the first Gathering was called. Not long after Bluestar left his home in the woods, his mother Yellowfang, also a warrior, died in battle. While she was dying, she said Bluestar would grow into a good leader and he would have a happy and full life.  Bluestar never forgot his mother's advice. He was sure that if he followed his paws, he would make good decisions, so he kept on going, and became a very successful leader of the Clan.  At the same time, there were a lot of battles between the Clans. Bluestar won more than he lost, but ThunderClan also suffered many losses. At last, when Bluestar was about to retire, a WindClan warrior called Rowanstar appeared and brought an unexpected gift. Bluestar received one of Rowanstar's gray warrior ancestors, so that his daughter would have the warrior blood in her Clan. As a symbol of their friendship, he also gave a very strong black tree stump. It was to show that ThunderClan and WindClan would be friends forever. Bluestar and his Clanmates celebrated this ceremony, and named it Bluestar's Bidding. When Bluestar retired, he was appointed as ThunderClan leader. He now had enough rest and strength to start to look after the needs of his Clan. He loved everything about ThunderClan. The cats would listen to his voice, which was strong and clear. He enjoyed teaching them skills that would help them to survive in their environment. As a final gift, he gave the Clan a beautiful lake. It was called WindClan's Lake. The names meant that the two Clans were friends forever. A year after Bluestar had become the leader of ThunderClan, his daughter, Daisy, was born. She had lots of the warrior blood in her. She was brave and strong, just like her father. Blue Sky, one of Bluestar's warriors, had a son, Thunder, when he was only four moons old. One day, when Thunder had a bad fever, Bluestar realized he was old enough to join the hunting patrols with the other apprentices. Bluestar took Thunder to the nursery, and let him help to feed the other kits. Bluestar kept an eye on Thunder as he grew older. He noticed Thunder was quick and determined, and he was also good at hunting, so he trained him well. ThunderClan was lucky to have him as their deputy.  When Bluestar was in his ninth moon, he was visited by a medicine cat called Brambleclaw. He asked Bluestar for a leader's name for a cat he had rescued from a badger. The medicine cat's name was Holly. When she joined ThunderClan, she made a good friend to Daisy. Bluestar didn't have the heart to tell Holly that she was only a medicine cat. As he was looking for a new name, he remembered Holly. She had a good life and she was happy, and she wanted to stay in ThunderClan.

Sandstorm does math

Sandstorm is a pink nose, a large, lean, lithe, muscular, light brown tabby she-cat. She has fluffy, thick, and thick tail. She is a ThunderClan cat, and she is a warrior. She is known for being loyal to the Clan, as she was born in ThunderClan. She has lived in the Clan's ThunderClan camp. She is sometimes a little nervous, because she wants to live in ThunderClan. She also has problems speaking, which is why she is good at doing sums. She also wears blue-green cat whiskers on her nose, in the manner of a ThunderClan tabby. She has a lot of secrets about ThunderClan, that she is keeping safe and she sometimes tells another person when she is very tired. She has blue-green eyes, and she has grey pelt. She is known for being kind to other cats. Her favorite thing to do is to spend time with Leafpool, even though she is ThunderClan and Leafpool is RiverClan. Sometimes Leafpool can get the best cat in ThunderClan. She is known for her bravery and loyalty.

History

Early life

Sandstorm was born in ThunderClan, in a ThunderClan camp. She was a kit and had a mother, who died shortly before she was born. Her father was Graystripe, a Clan deputy. As soon as she was born, Graystripe was given a new deputy, Tallstar. He also was Sandstorm's father.

Sandstorm is a good hunter. Her skills in fighting and hunting are not as good as her skills in learning, she is not very good at doing sums. She is the best and toughest at fighting, because she likes to fight, as she likes to fight to be strong. She has lived with Tallstar and Graystripe for most of her life. She also lived with Oakfur. When she was still a kit, she went to the old camp, with Squirrelflight, to look for herbs and roots.

When she was a kit, she was very excited, because there was a new apprentice, Squirrelflight. As a warrior, she is still excited, because it is Squirrelflight. As a medicine cat, she is always happy, because she can help other cats. As a medicine cat, she likes to help cats, and can often get to know them. Sandstorm and Squirrelflight, although they are quite different, are still friends. She also lives in the camp with other cats, and is one of the kits who live there.

Sandstorm was in ThunderClan and ShadowClan for many moons. Then, she moved to SkyClan. She used to dream about a ThunderClan she-cat named Leafpool, but one night she dreamed she was in a garden with Leafpool and Sandstorm was standing in front of them.

In ShadowClan

Sandstorm often went into ShadowClan. She used to visit the ShadowClan camp, near the Longest Journey. She made friends with Mistystar, the ShadowClan leader. As she became a warrior, she started to visit ThunderClan. At this time, Mistystar was not very happy about that, because she wanted Sandstorm to keep visiting ShadowClan. She was worried about her daughter. Sandstorm was still a good medicine cat, and Mistystar trusted her a lot.

One day, when Sandstorm was in ThunderClan, Mistystar visited the ThunderClan camp and told Sandstorm that she needed her help. Sandstorm, despite being very tired, agreed to go to ShadowClan. They crossed the Thunderpath. Sandstorm was not sure what ShadowClan was going to do, and she was scared about this journey. Mistystar said that the whole clan was meeting in a clearing. When they reached the clearing, a Clan meeting was starting. As Sandstorm watched the meeting, Leafpool gave a speech. She said that she wanted to speak about how she had seen the new apprentice, Yellowfang. As she said this, Sandstorm and Leafpool looked at each other.

After Leafpool had spoken, Sandstorm wanted to speak too, and said she needed to speak about what had happened, because she had seen the warrior WindClan attack ThunderClan. The attack was done by WindClan. Sandstorm was surprised by this, and Leafpool listened, as she was still very tired. When it was over, Leafpool decided to go back to ThunderClan, and Sandstorm decided to go to SkyClan, as well. Leafpool told Mistystar that she was leaving ThunderClan, and that she was returning to RiverClan, to stay with Crowfeather. Mistystar told Leafpool that she was very lucky, because she had a friend in RiverClan. The Clan meeting ended.

When she returned to ThunderClan, Sandstorm, with Leafpool, was with Squirrelflight. Squirrelflight asked if she knew why the ThunderClan cat went away. Sandstorm did not know, but Squirrelflight told Sandstorm that WindClan did a bad thing. Sandstorm knew what she meant. Then she did a sum, and she found that there were seven cats in the bad group. Sandstorm, Squirrelflight, and Leafpool looked at each other, and they did not understand why the cat went away, because they liked the ThunderClan cat.

As they talked, Leafpool suddenly said she wanted to go to ThunderClan to find out about WindClan. This made Sandstorm a little nervous, as she was nervous about WindClan. Squirrelflight also told Sandstorm that she wanted to go to WindClan. Squirrelflight said that she needed to find out about something. She looked at Leafpool and Sandstorm, and she said that they would go together, because she trusted them.

Sandstorm agreed to Squirrelflight's and Leafpool's plan. They waited until night. Then, they walked along the Thunderpath. Squirrelflight and Leafpool went into a thick bush, so that they could not be seen. Squirrelflight found a hole in the bush. Sandstorm did not understand what was going on, but she agreed to do the same thing. They went into a place they did not know. Leafpool, at first, was very scared, because she was quite frightened of the dark. Sandstorm reassured her that she would be safe, but Leafpool was still worried. Sandstorm said that she would go to sleep now, because she was a little tired. Squirrelflight and Leafpool agreed, and Leafpool got comfortable. Then, they went into the tunnel that WindClan made, and all the ThunderClan cats were in the tunnel, except for one cat. Squirrelflight went up to the cat, who turned out to be Yellowfang. Squirrelflight talked to Yellowfang, and she was very shocked, because Yellowfang was a warrior.

The Owl’s Quest

Brightheart is a yellow ThunderClan cat  "Brightheart is a Yellow ThunderClan cat" is a saying in the Clan of ThunderClan. It comes from the name Brightheart, an ancient ThunderClan cat. Brightheart's brother died in battle with the RiverClan cats and after many seasons she finally found love with a ThunderClan cat in the form of RiverClan warrior, ThunderClan apprentice, Foxfire, but they were forbidden to mate by ThunderClan's leader, Firestar.  When Firestar became leader after Bluestar's death, he decreed that any cat mated in forbidden territory would be exiled forever. Brightheart and Foxfire tried to escape their exile together, but Brightheart died in a tree. Although Foxfire was able to return to his life, Brightheart's ghost haunted him for the rest of his life.  Brightheart and Foxfire together In The Midnight Horse, a ThunderClan cat named Tigerstar, the first leader of ThunderClan, discovers a ThunderClan cat called Brightheart and thinks that he is actually an elder brother of his because Brightheart was born in his own nursery. Tigerstar wants to bring Brightheart to ThunderClan, but his Clanmate Firestar convinces him to leave her alone. Eventually, Tigerstar's son Lionstar defeats Firestar and makes himself the new leader of ThunderClan. Lionstar is worried that Brightheart is with Tigerstar, so he asks Firestar's apprentice, Foxfire, to watch over her. Foxfire takes Brightheart to live in his Twoleg den and to find a new home with ThunderClan. Brightheart and Foxfire later fall in love and hope to be allowed to mate. Foxfire's life is spent in the spirit world and it is Brightheart who comes to speak for him. She encourages Foxfire to find a new life and to find happiness. Life After Death Brightheart's spirit comes back to haunt Foxfire. She tells him that Tigerstar will use her to destroy ThunderClan. Foxfire feels ashamed that he has let Brightheart's spirit down. He leaves the Clan to go to the gorge in order to live with his ancestors. Brightheart then takes over Foxfire's spirit and persuades him to return to the Clans to try and find a new life with Brightheart in ThunderClan. He persuades her to go to the place where ThunderClan lives, the ThunderClan camp. She is able to trick Tigerstar into fighting for her and Brightheart together. Brightheart and Foxfire are forced to return to their own Clan when Tigerstar's apprentice, Leafpool, arrives at the ThunderClan camp. Tigerstar, worried that his enemy, Firestar, may discover his treachery, sends Leafpool to the Clans to investigate Foxfire's accusations of Tigerstar. Foxfire and Brightheart eventually find a new home at the Moonpool. After Foxfire's death, Brightheart is allowed to be buried beside him, and Firestar decides to allow them to have their kits together and name them StarClan and CloudClan. Graystripe’s friends are dead

Graystripe is a bushy dark tortoiseshell tom with yellow eyes. He is a ThunderClan cat, who was once the leader of RiverClan before he came to live with ThunderClan. He was a fierce warrior who was driven to madness by the murder of his Clanmates by the mysterious ThunderClan cat, ShadowClan. While his sanity eventually returned, he and the other surviving RiverClan warriors had lost everything they'd ever held dear, and were struggling to survive. He would later go on to become Firestar's deputy and ThunderClan's deputy leader.  Contents  Life before ThunderClan  ThunderClan cats had been living near the Longest Moon for a very long time. Graystripe and his brother, Shadowstripe, were born on the ThunderClan side of the Thunderpath. Their mother, Cinderpelt, died of a disease shortly after giving birth to them. Graystripe went to live with his father, Darkstripe, who was the leader of RiverClan.  At some point, Graystripe became friends with a former RiverClan apprentice, Tigerclaw. The young cat was fascinated by stories about ThunderClan and ShadowClan, and he listened as Graystripe told him about his adventures in the world outside RiverClan's territory. Graystripe's friendship with Tigerclaw came to the attention of ThunderClan's leader, Tigerstar. Tigerstar decided to use the friendship between his apprentice and RiverClan's, to try and gain more territory. Graystripe's father, Darkstripe, was unaware that Tigerstar had sent Tigerclaw to befriend his son. He and the other RiverClan leaders were tricked into believing that Graystripe was too weak and sickly to survive, and agreed to let him live with ThunderClan so that he could join their Clan. Graystripe and Tigerclaw, on the other hand, were unaware of Tigerstar's treachery.

After the deaths of Darkstripe and his brother, Lionheart, Graystripe had taken over the leadership of RiverClan. However, he was soon forced to share it with Firestar, who was the elder brother of his former friend, Tigerclaw. When Graystripe finally realized Tigerclaw was Tigerstar's secret apprentice, he confronted his old friend. Tigerclaw denied that Tigerstar was his Clan leader, and they ended their friendship. Graystripe then became suspicious of Firestar, and believed that Tigerclaw had set his brother up to kill him and take his territory.  Graystripe, Shadowstripe, and Firestar were attacked by unknown cats. The first of these cats was a cat whose yellow eyes seemed to look right through them. They were unable to fight back and they barely escaped with their lives. They were soon followed by a group of cats, who attacked them from all directions, then dragged them to a cave.  Before they could go to find help, they were dragged out of the cave by more cats. When they stopped fighting, they were stunned to discover that the cats were all RiverClan cats. Their leader, Hawkfrost, his deputy, Onestar, and their warriors were waiting for them. Hawkfrost asked them why they were living in the shadows. One of the cats replied that they were afraid of ShadowClan, because of its leader, Shadowstar. The RiverClan leader reassured them that he was the leader of ShadowClan, but he was just a medicine cat who was helping the Clan. This cat had never seen a cat with yellow eyes before, but he said that he could make himself look just like that. He showed the cat a dead bird with an arrow in its heart, which had obviously come from ShadowClan. Graystripe could not believe what he was hearing, until the cat, who revealed himself to be Tigerstar, claimed that it was his fault that the cats were afraid of the ShadowClan cats, and told them that the reason he couldn't come back into the territory was that it was his life's goal to drive the fear of him and his kin out of RiverClan and his brother's territory. He was so convincing that Tigerstar managed to convince the cats that they were afraid of the wrong cats, and that Shadowstar was no threat. Graystripe couldn't believe it, but Tigerstar's ploy was working. It didn't matter that the RiverClan cats no longer had any sense of loyalty or friendship; they were terrified of ShadowClan and its evil leader. Soon, the RiverClan cats accepted Tigerstar's version of events and attacked their friends in order to avenge their dead Clanmates.  Tigerstar had succeeded in convincing the cats of his version of events, but Graystripe and Firestar were no longer friends. They could not believe that their leader, and Firestar's brother, was capable of killing his friends and taking over their territory. When they discovered that Tigerclaw, the cats' ally, was actually Tigerstar's secret apprentice, and that Firestar was his brother, they knew that Tigerstar was behind their destruction. They returned to RiverClan to avenge the deaths of their friends. As they arrived, Tigerclaw appeared and begged them to leave. When he saw Tigerstar and Tigerclaw working together, he realized that his friends were dead.

Ravenpaw is Tigerclaw and Princess's son

Ravenpaw is a golden tabby tom with white chest and green eyes and long front claws, and thick fur running down his back. He is formerly from ThunderClan, but now lives with the New Forest Tribe of his father, Tigerclaw, and his mother, Princess.

History

"When the New Forest Tribe was first established, Ravenpaw was just an apprentice warrior. However, due to his skills, the Tribe needed to start a Clan of Clanmates. This was because there were no Clans with apprentices, but the Tribe made use of their Clan cat, Tigerclaw. He was the leader of the New Forest Tribe. After many Clan meetings, the Tribe agreed that the cats of the Clan should help to take care of the cats of the Tribe. Since Tigerclaw was so good, he could be in charge of the Clans. Therefore, he was made leader of the Clan of Clanmates. At the same time, he was made leader of the Clan of New Forest. A couple of moons later, the Clans agreed that Tigerclaw and Ravenpaw could be leaders together. So, he became leader of the Clan of Clanmates and he became leader of the Clan of New Forest. Tigerclaw is wise and friendly, and Ravenpaw is loyal and brave.

They were born in the WindClan camp, and Tigerclaw was chosen to be the leader of the whole Clan. However, a lot of problems began to happen. This started with a badger raid. This was carried out by three old badgers and the Clan had to move camp.

When they were first settled, the Clan had to make use of the forest that was around them. However, a few days after the new camp was settled, there was a terrible storm, and that’s when WindClan first met Firestar. He was very kind to the Clan, and he even helped them to settle in the new camp.

They stayed at the camp for several days until they were able to hunt for food. One day, Ravenpaw’s father, Tigerclaw, had a terrible dream. He dreamed that his mentor and his mentor’s mate had died. He also had a vision of Firestar. In the vision, he told him that the Clan was on the edge of starvation and that Firestar had to take charge of the Clan. He had to make Firestar Clan leader and he also had to train him to lead the Clan.

Firestar took charge of the Clan the next day, and he was the Clan leader. The Clan had their first Gathering, and they made some Clan rules.

The first Gathering the Clan had was the first Gathering in which Tigerclaw was not leader. He had been forced out of the Clan and he was no longer the Clan leader. Firestar was the new leader. However, many of the Clan cats still supported Tigerclaw. They thought that Firestar would fail because he was a warrior who had not been trained as a leader. However, he was soon proved to be a good leader, and he began to learn more about Clans and cats. He was more experienced, and soon the Clan cats started to trust him more and more.

One morning, there was a terrible storm, and many of the Clan were injured. At the same time, Tigerclaw’s mate, Princess, was attacked. At last, he was able to rescue her. However, Tigerclaw felt guilty, and he knew that he had not been a true leader. So, he had to leave the Clan. After that, he started to look for his daughter, Rainpaw. He was always on the lookout for her.

Princess died of a heart attack. Princess had been a queen. She ruled the Clan for many moons, and she was very wise. When Princess died, Firestar became leader, and the Clan was without a queen. The new leader had to hunt for food for his Clan and he was not allowed to hunt for fish or prey. Also, he did not want to hunt prey that had been trapped by his predecessor. So, Firestar and Princess had created many rules. He kept himself busy and he spent more time with his apprentice, Tigerclaw. One day, he saw a large group of badgers being led by a big badger. This badger attacked one of the Clan members, and Firestar had to fight with this badger. He killed it, and he used the pelt to make himself a new coat. This is where his warrior name, Sandstorm, was given.

Princess had a daughter, Rainpaw, and she was a very special Clan cat. Her paws were webbed, like a seal, and she had very blue eyes. She lived at the Moonpool, and she and her mother talked to the spirits of the Moon. They were told that it was Princess’s daughter, Rainpaw, who was going to become a great leader. Princess and her daughter were killed by a fox, and Firestar became leader.

Before Tigerclaw could leave the forest, a big storm hit and killed the Clan, except for Tigerclaw and his apprentice, Ravenpaw. The two were washed into the river, and they tried to find the Clan. They reached the river on the edge of the forest, and they finally found the Clan in a cave. They could only rescue one cat, and that was Tigerclaw’s apprentice, Ravenpaw. Ravenpaw was born and raised at the RiverClan camp. When the storm had stopped, he left RiverClan to search for his father and his mother. Ravenpaw had been lucky, because he had survived, and he was taken in by the Clan. His father was killed by the Clans, and he became a New Forest cat.

I have been sent this Tumblr from some... Interesting... Second person. I must admit I've had some strange dreams over the past weeks, it felt so natural to dream about my characters and make up something around it. But this felt too strange to me. My characters are supposed to be dead. Anyway. I haven't been writing much, lately. I have some good ideas, I can't stop thinking about them. I just really need to work on my writing some more. Maybe today I will start to write again.

Firestar and his buff nose

FIRESTAR IS A BLACK-AND-WHITE TOM WITH BARELY VISIBLE STRIPES AND A LITHE, MUSCULAR, LIGHT BROWN NOSE. He is a ThunderClan cat and the medicine cat who will save your life if you're sick. His brother and sister are NightWatch and Icewing, who are also ThunderClan medicine cats. He's great at catching mice and he's the one who put a fire ant nest in NightWatch's den, although it had more to do with his sister. As medicine cats, they're really important; medicine cats know how to diagnose disease in a patient and tell you what's wrong, even when they've never seen the illness before. So Firestar and his sister, NightWatch, and his brother, Icewing, will become very important characters in this story.  It's a great honor to be able to write a story about cats in medicine cat bodies and cat medicine, and I'm grateful to my editor Robin for giving me the chance to do so. (I'm going to be talking about cats in other body types later on.)  The first part of this story is about a ThunderClan medicine cat named Cloudpaw. He has a long, strong nose and very pale fur; Cloudpaw's father, WindClan's medicine cat, has died, and Firestar—the new leader of ThunderClan—knows Cloudpaw is the medicine cat WindClan needs to carry on.  Cats and medicine. How can I ever forget the first cat I met when I was tiny and a friend took me to the nursery? Her name was Molly and she was an orange tabby. She had an enormous white belly and enormous yellow eyes, and she looked at me with great interest. What if she had decided to turn me into a medicine cat, instead of being killed like the others?  But she didn't. Molly took me on as her apprentice, just like my sister, and helped me understand the world of medicine and medicine cats. She taught me the names of all the bones in my body. "That's your jawbone," she said, pointing to the bone next to my skull. "That's your spine. And over here . . ." She put her paw on my stomach. "That's your belly, and that's your heart. You know what these things are, don't you?" She nodded. "Good. We'll have to call them that for your first meeting."  We sat together with our tails wrapped around our legs while she looked at me. My whole body trembled with excitement and anxiety. "What am I supposed to do now?" I whispered.  Molly flicked her ears forward. "Just watch and learn," she replied. "I'll show you the rest."

Kitsune Scourge

Scourge is a BloodClan cat that is part of the story, and that is not a real clan of the cat. It is one cat among many cats.

Scourge is a female cat that is born a kitsune. She is a blooded cat that has a natural predisposition to evil. She is also a traitor and would rather do anything for anyone, no matter what the cost. She is a good liar, who, in truth, is just a cat with a problem.

She was a kitsune (in the sense of a fox-like animal) until the BloodClan warrior, ShadowClan's ShadowClan deputy, Darkcloud, made a deal with another Kitsune and turned her into a cat. She was given the nickname, 'Scourge' due to her loyalty and devotion to Darkcloud. She is a BloodClan warrior and ShadowClan deputy, but in the eyes of her new Clan, she is an outcast and not a clan cat. She belongs to no Clan.

Scourge is a kitsune with dark fur, she is part-fox, and has red eyes. She was once pure kitsune, but she is no longer the same. She is now a kitsune-cat and she is evil.

As to her nature, it's hard to tell. She is a young cat, and young cats can change drastically. She used to be friendly, but after her Clan became evil, she changed. She became mean, and cold, and she's even mean to the cats in the same Clan she considers her friends. She has a temper that rivals any cat in the Clans. She's cruel and savage, and she has few real friends.

Why didn't you do any information besides WIDE

Wide Ashfur is love, Wide Ashfur is safety, Wide Ashfur is happiness and Wide Ashfur is hope. It is only when Wide Ashfur has fallen that the world begins to fear for him. And when fear touches the mind, the heart starts beating fast and loud. Wide Ashfur has been missing for two days. The forest is like a house of mirrors. There is a room for each day, mirror for each time. There is a room for each year. There is a room for each season. There is a room for all the good days, a room for all the good days you can remember and a room for all the good days you can’t remember. It’s easy to see that Wide Ashfur is in the room for Good Days. He walks a few steps on the path of a good day. When he looks down, he sees the sun in a cloudless sky, or catches a glimpse of a dragonfly on a yellow flower. When he smiles, the world smiles back at him. There is the room for Good Days because there are plenty of good days. There is a tree where some people think Wide Ashfur sings. And the people sing in reply. Sometimes they sing a little, sometimes they sing for a while. The forest is a house of mirrors, but there is only one room. There are the rooms for Good Days and the rooms for other days. There is no room for Bad Days, nor for Good Days who don’t sing. Wide Ashfur thinks that he has been missing for two days. He thinks that this is not a good day. When the moon shines bright on the mirror, he sees his reflection on the ground. He can feel the cold and the hardness, he can feel the wind and the water. The reflection on the ground is sad. After the moon is dark on the mirror, Wide Ashfur thinks he has been missing
