Mike Hollingshead’s photos of super storm cells have been a favorite of ours for a while now, but his latest project takes his incredible images a step further.
Mike used Photoshop to create these stunning animations of super cells in the American Midwest.

It's the year 3500. Anthropologists agree that 21st century progress was greatly impeded by a primitive communication technique called "PowerPoint bullets." "It was a truly remarkable era," a leading scholar notes, "there were so many brilliant minds and technologies of the day. Yet so few people took the time to articulate their ideas in ANY form other than to throw crudely constructed sentence fragments onto 'slides' demarcated only by digital ink dots. It was as though their audience was only worthy of the most basic excrement of human communication."

May 8, 2009, my word, how things have changed
March 2009. This is the longest I have been on any social media platform.
April 2009, yeesh…
I think I originally joined in early 2011? I deleted that one so I will never know. I apparently rejoined on my birthday in 2012.
September 2010
June 2008
December 2007. It’s crazy I’m still here.
May 2007. Back when tumblr was just Marco and David and the startup I got hired on to shared a big space with them. Pretty much just a bunch of NYC and LA people on here back then.
Fri, 24 Aug 2007. 5358 posts. Holey moley.
I watched Dredd (2012) tonight, and LOVED it. It wobbled a bit in places, but when it did I was already on board, so I didn’t mind.
The design, photography, and VFX were incredible, and the actors were just great.
Thanks to everyone who recommended it to me, because I never would have seen it otherwise.
SO AGREE. If you missed it, give it a go. I wish I’d seen it in 3D but watching at home with a drink in hand and a breeze through the window was pretty awesome.

I was recently reminded of temporary and spam-management email services, and just now logged into my old Sneakemail.com account.
The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I’m saying? We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.

M83 - Midnight City. http://www.songl.ink/1bd39 (solo at 3:02)
Ragnar and Lagertha. Y'all fucked up.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I’m so screwed.
Joan Watson and Sherlock Holmes, with Detective Bell and the NYPD. I think I’m good.
Jimmy McGill and Mike Ehrmantraut. I like my chances.

Basically
I’m watching a usa made documentary. The music effects and the narration are so dramatic lol why It makes things look laughable even when it’s not the case
American documentaries are awful
There's few rules on the Internet, but I think we can all agree on this one: Never put things to a public online vote.
I hope the UK sense of humor allows them to go ahead and use the name. Just think what a privilege it would be to have served on ol’ Boatface.
