good thing about drawing them so much is that i can spit out a quick lineart of him and get to the nitty gritty colours and rendering without having to angst over it not looking "volume-y"

made some fresh new pals for @wizardraziw's classes

These two are komos and seir! One is obviously not from this world in the extra-terrestrial sense(but that's a secret shh...), the other is an orb that got sick of being pondered so ran off to do the pondering instead.

They've teamed up for the sake of komos' magical education as komos is hoping to... Hmm. What are they trying to do here, anyways?

Regardless, they have some difficulty understanding language written and spoken by most folk; though curiously, there's has no issue when communicating with seir. That's how they've found themselves taking magical classes, haha.

Seir's...body? self? Well, the orb is a magical item. He's happy to listen and learn alongside komos; who after some translating, ends up being a soil mage.

Fun fact; Komos likes wizard hats and seir's cloth...thing. It reminds them of planetary rings.

i now understand the importance of canvas sizes, dpi and everything else.

my head hurts.

to think i spent so much time taking digital design lessons and not once had i ever considered that the canvas size was the issue to my blurriness plague...

i feel so very cheated by myself!

for future reference for myself;

100 dpi ought to work so long as i don't need to print things

stick with the 4000x4000 px box or just simply use the presets.

don't fiddle around with the canvas once you've settled on it. just don't.

i don't understand what resampling is so...just don't touch it for the time being. leave it alone.
