Hey everyone. First off, I want to thank you for all the help awhile back when I was 10 dollars short on my taxes; I was able to pay them on time and now everything is going fine in that regard.

I’m sorry to say that I need to ask for your help again. I live with my younger sister (13) and my grandparents (in their 60s), and we have a very limited income. My grandfather is the only one currently bringing in a paycheck since I lost my job in December. (Even then, my minimum wage job was almost no help at all.)

He has serious back problems, and is seriously pushing himself at work with no retirement option in sight. (He is a supervising groundskeeper, though they demand he do more manual labor than actual supervising.) He doesn’t make enough to cover all the bills / food before, and has to dip into their savings every month (which is now almost gone), and now he’s having to run out of town every few days to help care for / pay expenses for his ailing parents.

I lost my job due to an incident stemming from my anxiety disorder (though the situation was very minor and didn’t cost the company anything but a moment of their time, corporate made me an example case, much to my displeasure.) Since then, I haven’t received a single reply to any of my applications, save for a possible automated rejection letter or two. I’ve opened art commissions, but I have a lot of trouble advertising and no one is biting. If you’re interested you can look here and here. ( I’d really appreciate it.)

I’m asking for donations so that I can possibly feed myself / my sister at least a part of the time, purchase my own toiletries and minor needs, etc so that I can help take some of the burden off of the household as a whole. As a voice actor and an artist, I might be able to bring in more money / land more jobs if I get a hold of better tools / equipment. Any donations will also go towards that.

Hey everyone, this is DogKaiser again.

My situation continues to be, well, awful.

As you may know, my grandmother is emotionally abusive on top of all of this (example here) , and she’s been even worse as of late.

I still have no solid source of income, and I don’t have the means or funds to advertise my art commissions. My home life is so draining on my emotions and mental state that I’ve even struggled to make art for the last week. Having money would give me advertising opportunities, or simply a way to get me out of the house and away from the abuse, even if it’s for a short while.  

Please, help me out; I seriously need it. Even if you can’t donate or commission, spreading the word is still seriously appreciated.

I should add that this isn’t limited to us Jews, either. In the past two years or so, both the Olympics and and the World Cup coincided with Ramadan, and a lot of Muslim athletes were left in the really shitty position of having to choose between either not fasting or putting their athletic performance at risk. If Christians had a fasting month, you bet your ass no sporting events would take place until it was over.

if you are from the NYC area, this is what you can do:

If anyone at work starts a discourse about 9/11, tell them you wish the nation would work tangibly (not theoretically) harder to protect the lives of muslims. 

If anyone at work starts talking about their fear of “another terrorist attack,” tell them you’re afraid the KKK doesn’t slaughter black people today. 

If anyone on the street is harassing a muslim, especially a visibly covered muslim, tell them to fuck off. do not call the police because the police do not try to protect muslims (call 911 if it is life threatening, though). ask the muslim if they are okay. 

give up your seat on the MTA World Trade Center bound trains for muslims. it is scary to stand because we don’t know who can hurt us from behind or from the sides.

if they are being harassed, provoked, or look like they are in danger – get involved. call 9/11 if it appears life threatening. VIDEO IT.

Okay guys, I need your help - my brother, Will, is 10 years old and he LOVES to draw. However, one day, he just quit drawing. He said he didn’t know what to draw anymore.

So tonight, he told me that people on his YouTube channel were mean to him, and said that he should quit drawing and that he sucked at drawing.

I had no idea people were saying these kinds of things to him - and it really pisses me off that there are people out there who get off on discouraging at 10 year old from doing his passion.

He wanted to become an artist for a really long time, but recently stopping talking about it. I should have seen the signs, and asked what’s up. I feel awful now.

I think Will is REALLY good at drawing - here is one of the drawings of the Endoskeleton from Five Night’s at Freddy’s. He didn’t trace it, it’s all free-hand.

But Will thinks that no one likes his drawings, so he quit, even though I told him a lot of people who DO like his drawings - he doesn’t believe me.

PLEASE, if you guys could comment some encouraging words. Every reblog this gets, every comment - I will show him and maybe that will inspire him to draw again!!
