Merry Happy Whatever You Celebrate!

I organized my desktop and iPad midweek just to feel a sense of control in this crazy season. With the holidays and finals coming up it’s easy to feel like everything is spiraling. This has been a hard week for me, my sister has been hospitalized with covid and she’s 20 weeks pregnant. Her family lives 3 hours away from the rest of us, her husband is with their 3 kids, and can’t be with her in the hospital, so communicating updates is difficult. If you could send her prayers/healing energy/good vibes/whatever you believe I would really appreciate it🤍

I’m sorry for being so inactive lately, life has been absolutely nuts. Thank you all so so much for sticking with me, I love you all. I’ll be thinking of you as we head towards the end of the semester/term, we got this!!

I’m knee deep in my legal reasoning class and I’m so close to being done and I’m super psyched for the next term of classes.

It’s also the best time of the year?!? Who’s ready for fall?? I love the changing of the leaves, the crisp air, and it means Christmas is right around the corner.

I’m an ISTJ, and I think it’s so neat that 16personalities.com says ISTJs are best equipped to go into certain careers, and a lawyer is one of them! If you don’t know your Meyers-Briggs personality type, I’ll link the test so you can find out for yourself. Knowing mine has definitely helped me learn a lot about myself and how I function. It’s definitely helped me with academics as well.

America sucks and all, the government & legislation need some serious help, but nothing beats these lakeside views. Forever thankful to my dad for investing in a lake house so our family can spend time together.

Okay, but how cute is my new iPad case?!

I used to be a diehard pen and paper kinda note taker, but now I think I’ve been converted. I still hate typing notes, but I love having them on my iPad! It’s so convenient to have them all in one place and not have to worry about making a mistake in pen and running the look/aesthetic of the entire page because it’s so easy to erase and fix!

What’s your favorite way to take notes?

Help! I can’t decide whether I should get a new desktop (I have a laptop currently) or get an iPad. I like the idea of portability with an iPad but I know an iMac will last longer. Does anyone have any advice? Do you like taking notes on an iPad? Tysm in advance💗

hi there! do you have any advice on how to decide if you should study law/become a lawyer or not?

It’s not a decision to make lightly! Job shadow if you can, do all the research, make sure it’s what you REALLY want! Good luck 💗

just out of pure curiosity, what type of lawyer are you hoping to be? & how fo you know that you want to be a lawyer? just bc i want to take law so so badly and i would love to be a lawyer, but in my head i can’t envision it?

Originally I wanted to be a criminal prosecutor, but after studying law I’m becoming more interested in medical malpractice! I knew I wanted to be a lawyer in high school because I have the skill set for it and I can’t imagine myself doing anything else! If you’re interested in law I’d definitely recommend taking a couple classes if you can before deciding :)
