Sometimes I feel like I’m multiple people inside my head.
There’s the girl who wants a pinterest-worthy home with matching bath towels, and goegeously organized cabinets...a home where people would be jealous because it’s so perfect. That girl wears cute clothes that look almost like she’s a sofisticated normal army-wife mother, and she is determined to work on her physical health and be fit and gorgeous. She does her makeup every day, and just shines.
There’s the hippie girl. The one who is obsessed with all of the patterns and tapestries, and the fun pillows and plants...ALL OF THE PLANTS all over the place. She wears her mala beads and tries to practice her buddhism, hardly wears makeup but is gorgeous anyways. She is always out in nature with her dogs. She wears cute boho everything and has gorgeous dreads in her hair. She’s outgoing and artsy and the house is kind of a mess between the art stuff everywhere, and the plants, and the gorgeous boho everything. Shes kind of a masterpiece of some sort.
There’s the book girl. The one who wears big comfy knee high knit socks and big comfy sweaters, and actually wears her glasses and reads books and drinks tea all cozied up with the kitten. Messy bun in her hair, just nestled up in books.
Last but not least there’s the gamer girl. Shes not fake like these girls who wear lowcut shirts and pretend to play for boys attention. She’s the girl with posters and collectibles, comics and board games. She’s the one you see with a massive gaming setup, who wears game shirts and band tees. She vegges out on World of Warcraft, and yells when she fucks up or dies. She drinks monster energy drinks and mountain dew, and is secretly still a pop punk princess. She blasts out on pop punk, and rock, and metal. She seems unapproachable but really isn’t....
I’m sure somewhere in there there’s another me as well...but the truth is, I struggle because I’m all of these people and I have no idea how to be any single one of them.
