as much as I love traveling, I think I get the most easily agitated in airports
My first proper hike in the Bay Area in 2016 (and in like 3 months it looks like!). I was drawn to the “Little Yosemite” title they gave to the waterfall area pictured and met with severe disappointment. Luckily, the rest of the park is incredibly picturesque. Maybe it was just because of the fresh rain fall which brought the hillsides to life. Maybe it was just the sun battling it’s way to brighten up the sky. Either way, I picked a good day to get outside.

woolgathering
(adjective) In our list of most interesting words, woolgathering is the sweetest humane type of torture. It is defined by the indulgence in idle daydreaming. We are extremely pleased to know there is such a word for this phenomenon. Woolgathering is the most delicious intellectual experience we submit ourselves to. Do not feel guilty for falling into an infinite trance about your loved one or life. Seek refuge in your imagination, nobody can interfere there. (via wordsnquotes)
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.

a bunch of late posts coming soon. just returned from two weeks in the far east and I still can’t believe the time has come and gone so quickly.
may or may not need to buy this.
Not gonna lie, I keep forgetting about this sub-blog. In any case, La Boca Caminito is basically just how it looks in pictures. Granted, I was expecting it to be a bit more lively however, given the time of day we went (late afternoon) and season (winter), it makes sense. It was easily the most touristy area, in fact, it was actually the only neighborhood in Buenos Aires where we could easily distinguish other tourists. Go figure.
Glad we got to see it a bit calmer but, I definitely want to go back to the country in the summer. Get that vibe on a whole other level.

between the coati attack, waterfall attack, and sensory overload attack, some great memories were made with some great people.
This trip was almost 11 months ago but it feels like it has been a lifetime since. In some ways, my life has been turned on it’s head within this span. In others, it's completely the same. I haven't been as calm and content as I was on this trip. I don't know what to do to get that feeling back.

As touristy as this place is and as much of a cluster it is 90% of the time, you can't help but love it.
