4 Years Later, Star Wars Announces New Boba Fett Series

Star Wars officially returns with a new Boba Fett series.

Things that Tui can do with Kinkajou's character in book 17 that could change my mind on hating her:

So we know how RainWings barely pay any mind to their own eggs, right? They just keep all the eggs in one place and check to see if any hatched from time to time. The dragonets are then raised by the village as a whole rather than their parents. Tui could explore how that tradition could've affected Kinkajou from an early age and how that made her feel disconnected and frustrated

Kinkajou is constantly yellow and pink, which are happy colors in RainWing society. Tui could write Kinkajou as someone who goes through a lot of effort to come across as a happy dragon but she is struggling with internal insecurities

She idolizes Glory so much because she proved that RainWings are not lazy, not stupid, not weak. Kinkajou never had anyone to look up to growing up because she was always viewed as a nuisance and everyone would rather laze around, so that's why she worships Glory; because she's the first dragon that actually treated Kinkajou like an equal

In Arc 2, all of Kinkajou's PTSD from the events of Arc 1 were nonexistent and she magically healed from her trauma. Tui could portray her PTSD in a more realistic manner that actually affects her in ways that we as readers could not see because we never got to see the world through her perspective

Kinkajou being aware that many dragons find her annoying and internalizes that. She worries that her friends also can't stand her secretly and she feels like no one truly understands or likes her

She struggles with her feelings about the love spell Anemone put on her in Arc 2 and how she feels about Turtle. I don't like Turtle x Kinkajou, but I find it hard to believe that she would just brush off such conflicting emotions after being under a spell for some time

She has difficulty with her attention span, her inability to stop talking, and her childish antics and it frustrates her that she can't be more like Glory. She wants to be cool, unbothered, and serious but she just can't. She's just annoying little Kinkajou and no one will take her seriously

The RainWings not noticing her disappearance still haunts her to this day and she develops a fear of everyone leaving her or not noticing her when she's in danger

She thinks about how Tamarin fears for her safety and regrets that she is so reckless enough to make her own best friend worry about her

Make her regret that she doesn't think before she speaks and wants to take back some things she said in past books

Tries to keep a positive, upbeat attitude no matter what, even if she is crying inside

Include a moment when she breaks down and admits her insecurities, her fears, her regrets, the things she hates about herself and how she wishes she could change more than anything

She acts out and behaves so immaturely because she feels it is the only way others will pay attention to her. Any attention is good attention for her

Have her be plagued by nightmares, whether it be caused by her trauma, her secret fears, or both

Bring back her claustrophobia and pyrophobia. As someone who struggles with a phobia myself, I know those kinds of fears don't go away easily, especially if they are caused by traumatic experiences during childhood

Have her habit of talking too much bring consequences. Maybe she says the wrong thing to the wrong dragon, or she makes someone else uncomfortable, or others find her too overwhelming. She realizes this and feels ashamed, or embarrassed, or fearful that she will slip up again in the future

Make her regret just running out after Glory unprepared and without a plan and write consequences for such an impulsive move. Have Kinkajou feel daunted by such a difficult task of finding her beloved queen and have her struggle in the process because she left without thinking

If I think of anything else, I'll add more. I came up with all of this in one sitting, so hopefully more will come up later on. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, feel free to comment. I love to see what others bring to the table.

Damn this sucks. Not what I expected. You guys don't like Krogan? I could have sworn he had more fans. Luckily idgaf about what people think and I write for myself, not everyone else. Krogan's getting redeemed but not in the way you think. And it's only 29 votes. That is not a lot of people. It's actually more than I expected if I'm being honest.

Fanfic is for you first and the readers second. Remember that, fanfiction writers. Don't ever feel like you have to change your story for others. And if you feel like your story could be something great, then tell it. No one is stopping you except you (and maybe your parents or your schedule or school or some other obstacle that is too specific for me to name).

First of all, there are so many things wrong with this theory, and Maul not having a lower half isn't even the worst one.

The downfall of Armitage Hux as a character needs to be studied. How tf do you go from literal Space Hitler to easily ragebaited ginger fag to the rebel spy all along?

If I remember correctly, he wasn't the rebel spy all along.

It was only after Ren became supreme leader that Hux became a spy in attempt to take down Ren because he hated him so much and wanted to take over the first order for himself.

Hux was really only space hitler because he had Starkiller base under his control but once he lost that he lost a lot of power and respect from Snoke. He was also a very fragile man from the beginning, he was just hiding behind the first order's power with Starkiller base, legions of troops, the dreadnought, etc.

And when Ren became supreme leader, he further stripped Hux of his powers and rank and did everything he could to humiliate him.

This is just what I remember without actually going back and watching the movies looking for specific details regarding General Hugs.

I only watched the sequel trilogy movies twice: once when they came out and once with my sister when she was first getting into Star Wars. Both times I wasn't even watching fully, just counting down the minutes till the credits. If you strip away the layers, there really is no deeper meaning behind him turning on the First Order and becoming a spy. It's was just poor communication among execs and lazy writing.

But regardless, Hux's character was a diamond waiting to be cut. It's too bad they left him so unrefined.

I have been a Harry Potter since I was 11. My parents got me the complete book set for Christmas and I read them all wayyyy too fast. It took me three months to finish all seven. I didn't understand everything I was reading because I was only 11 but I still enjoyed them. I reread them over and over through the years until the books split in half and the covers fell off. Now I am 20 years old and still enjoy picking up one of my worn and torn copies to read. It's nostalgic to me. I will never throw them away because they are treasured memories. It reminds me of happier, simpler days of curling up on the couch to read quietly for hours until my eyes hurt. These books brought me so much joy and magic through my preteen and teen years, and they will continue to do so for the rest of my life.

But never ever in my nearly ten years of being a Harry Potter fan did I ever understand the hype and obsession of the Marauders.

James and Sirius were conceited, cocky, arrogant, sadistic and cruel rich assholes that bullied other students and publicly humiliated others. They were terrors in school, constantly breaking rules and even performing illegal hexes on other students (justice for Bertram Aubrey). I always wondered why they never got expelled.

Need I remind you of the "prank" Sirius played on Severus that almost had him mauled (or worse) by a werewolf? And how James flipped Severus upside down, revealed his underwear to everyone, and made him choke on soap? Or James trying to pressure Lily into dating him by promising he would stop bullying Severus if he went out with her?

Remus, while not always an active participant in their bullying, was still no better off because he still remained loyal to them and did not call them out for their behavior because he didn't want them to ditch him. Sure he regretted it later in life but that doesn't make it okay.

Peter practically worshipped the ground the other three walked on and took immense pleasure in bullying other students. He was almost pissing himself with glee whenever James and Sirius tormented other students. He was a leech, clinging to Sirius and James to gain popularity for himself.

Genuinely why are so many people obsessed with these assholes? I remember when people would be begging for Marauders content: a TV show, a movie, more books, ect. I remember the thousands of Marauders fanfics and reader-insert scenarios that were written en masse and I never read a single one because I was just so baffled at why so many people were frothing at the mouth for four little bitch boys and drooling over fictional dickheads while excusing their horrible behavior. They can excuse SA and bullying but drag their victim through the mud and back for saying a slur or something. You know exactly who I am talking about.
