those 30 year old white women want each other so bad
started watching glow :,)) hereâs the love of my life, ruth
is there a joy more pure than receiving your ao3 kudos summary and seeing the same person's name ten times bc they obviously binged your entire library of works
I did this to help illustrate a point I'm making in a different post, but I feel it's relevant above and beyond that specific context.
Weirdly this is also the rollercoaster shape of my engagement with a new hyper fixation đ

Standing orders
âMichael. Aziraphale.â The Metatron greets them like a kindly Uncle as they step out of the lift, an effect slightly spoilt by the fact heâs reverted to manifesting as a giant floating head. âThe gang, as they say, is all here.â
âMm,â squeaks Aziraphale, which is more than the stricken seeming archangels seem capable of at the moment. âShall we take a look at the agenda?â
Uriel and Saraqael nod mechanically. Michael, still looking like the bottom has dropped out of their world, canât even manage that. After a brief awkward moment Aziraphale gets on with it, waving his hands to manifest a giant scroll that unravels in the air between them. Written in old-fashioned looping script is the following:
Steering Committee Meeting XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXVIII
Present: Metatron, Aziraphale, Michael, Uriel, Saraqael
Apologies: Sandalphon, Raphael
Order of Business:
1) Redevelopment of the upper floor to incorporate the legions of scriveners and diviners (Proposer: Aziraphale)
2) Updated guidance on the proper use of desks (Proposer: Uriel)
3) Arrangement of appropriate raiment for Archangel Aziraphale (Proposer: Michael)
4) Cleaning roster (Standing Item)
âOff you go then, Aziraphale,â says the Metatron. âTalk us through your vision.â

Where You Stand
âRight then,â says the Metatron, as they step forward together, out of the lift and into the shining atrium of Heaven. âLeave it to me to announce this little⌠shake up of the senior management team.â
Aziraphale blinks, preoccupied. Strictly speaking, Heaven doesnât actually need air. Most of its denizens donât breathe. But over millennia the exhalations of various corporeal entities passing through have given it something almost like an atmosphere.
It smells of something Aziraphale lacks the context to describe, but that Crowley could probably have identified as ânew car.â Itâs the polar opposite of old paper and floor polish, and far removed from the smell dust makes as it rises as glittering motes in shafts of sunlight. The opposite of home, in other words, and the band of iron around his ribs squeezes tighter. âIâm sorry?â he manages.

If I had a pound for every time David Tennant has made me *openly weep* during a season finale I'd now have two pounds. Which isn't a lot, but it's impressive it's happened twice, even if it is 17 years since the last time.
Welp, I'm gonna need everyone to go stream the hell out of Good Omens please because we NEED a season 3.
