I'm iffy about KnoxAlisa since it seemed like she was more into him than he was into her .
Every other couple in the series (excluding) GigiMattias the guy is more into the girl [atleast at first] than the girl is into the guy
Ngl, it was always hard to tell who was more into whom, I think
She just wanted to get the job done and well, if it's not always about the money, and caring for Gigi, one might think Knox couldn't say no to her 😔 (okay, enough delulu for today)

We got maybe a 0.5% of KnoxAlisa in TGB, that too, if I'm being generous with the rating.
Idr reading an in-person dialogue exchange between them. And whatever there is, it's just from Gigi's POV as she suspects he might have a crush on Alisa or something.
Although, in epilogue, when Knox was mentioned, Avery looked at Alisa so I'm guessing it's implied that there was something going on between them.

Originally, I usually use Hawthorne brothers for 4 of them actually but now I have come to include anyone with the last name 'Hawthorne' and people associated with them, without the same last name, are Hawthorne-adjacent

even as much as I would've adored Avery Kylie Grambs-Hawthorne, them getting married on the 4th- IN THE EPILOGUE still frustrates me. Good thing I already have a fanfic written on their wedding.
can you do a Lyra x Grayson fic there is a mechanic at their place and Lyra wants to know more about cars so she asks the mechanic on what’s he’s doing and he shows her. They both lie down together underneath the car and the mechanic shows her what he’s doing. Grayson sees and he gets really jealous…. Xander’s watching the whole thing and thinks it’s hilarious???

This is such a unique idea although, I am torn between a lyrason fic or a Hawthorne Roadtrip fic
We already know what Avery is famous for and in TGB we find out what Libby is famous for (being Avery's sister , marrying a Hawthorne and for her gothic fashion sense [iconic]) . What things do you believe Max and Lyra would be famous for ?
I think Lyra would get famous for punching paparazzi who are invading her privacy
Max is defo famous for the quotes on her tops/shirts, such as "SMASH THE PATRIARCHY"

Although, I think Mattias and Rohan don't have a preference for it ngl.
I also think Eve would love rain. And Thea would absolutely hate it. I think Zara loves rain and Skye doesn't.
For Lyra, I think it can go either way. I can totally see her skipping down the street in rain, waltzing but I can totally see her despising it too.

I loved this book. There were some aspects of it that I didn't like but overall? It was good.
I don't know what it felt so different and estranged reading it.
First thing I want to ask is...how was Emily alive? Didn't Grayson feel her pulse that night after cliff jumping? How could they fake the absence of a heartbeat? This wasn't even discussed in the book.
And my apologies to everyone to whom I said Rohan and savannah wouldn't be end game- Rohan defo did the "he fell first and HARDER" Because his confession? Him giving everything away for her? That was one of the best confession scenes I've ever read.
Now, moving to Alice. So, you are telling me this woman was the mastermind behind everything? Everything. All along. Yet she was still a wife and a mother. What I don't understand is ... if she rejected the gilded blade once and chose Tobias, then we fake her death and disappear later in life?
I hope people who said "BRING BACK HARVARD GIRL" are happy, because woho, you've got her back in the picture... (didn't serve much purpose regarding lyrason did it now? this is for those who wanted Harvard Girl to save Grayson from Lyra)
With JLB, nothing is a coincidence- so Grayson mentioning he kissed a girl in TFG, wasn't random. I don't know what to make of Nora. I think training her and then not choosing her for the crucible was what Alice had intended all along. Because she needed someone who was angry enough, to put an end to this. And reform it.
Evil doesn't die; it reinvents.
The ending when Eve, Avery and Nora are now the new Gilded Blade; to fill the space, to come in power. I honestly, understand the core purpose of gilded blade. When the world has always been failing you, when you live in men's world, you take the reins yourself. But the way the Gilded Blade, did it? By contributing more to the murder, poisoning, torture, wiping bloodlines, wasn't it just using the same methods but for a different cause? What difference would that have made if you didn't break the cycle?
All that lore about Lyra and her dad was actually her uncle and her aunt was her mom who was also the part of the Blade ... I don't know, I think I would've loved this twist if the following the characters had been mentioned before? Introducing such a chunk of new characters in the last book kind of killed the 'tying loose ends' for me.
Also, JLB left just a tiny bit of loose threads enough to form into a new story if she ever decides to write more for this series. Like Jameson is still in debts of his uncle, Bowen. The new Gilded Blade has yet to make some changes. Zella as the proprietor.
And Skye having a daughter? This was so unexpected. I don't even know what to say.
Let's talk about the epilogue....
Grayson not majoring in business? YES. FIND NEW WORLDS. Also on that note, I just loved Lyrason in this book. They were so domestic ... so in love.
Avery getting married on 4th of July?
I'm going to choose denial and write a separate fanfic on this.
And am I glad none of the twins were named Hannah? Yes, yes, I am.
Because years later, I can imagine Avery tucking her daughter in, saying,
"I have a secret, Hannah."
