By now, you all must have seen the news that Gaza had officially run out of food, as one of the main aid suppliers in Gaza, World Food Program, had announced that their stock has been completely depleted, leaving just a few days for community kitchens to function.
This comes after more than 50 days (and counting) of Israel's complete closure of the borders, preventing food and medicine, among other life essentials, from entering Gaza. There are children crying out of hunger with trucks loaded with over 100,000 tons of food mere minutes away from them, which Israel continues to prevent from entering besieged Gaza.
This also comes after Israel had deliberately destroyed swaths of farmlands in Gaza, specifically targeting them with bombs and chemical weapons that destroy the chance of growing crops. Israel also made sure bakeries are destroyed as well as water sources.
Diabolical is an understatement when it comes to the Zionist entity.
There are still things you can do. On top of raising awareness and protesting when possible, independent organisations like APN are working directly with farmers in Gaza to rehabilitate the agricultural sector and restore local food systems to combat famine, counter the blockade and build food sovereignty. You can donate to their Revive Gaza's Farmlands initiative here.
Additionally, keep in mind that this means whatever food supplies remain available in Gaza now costs astronomical amounts of money, so keep sharing and donating to individual fundraising campaigns. Gazafunds is a good source if you're not sure where to start. Remember that your donations and shares are often the only source of hope for these families.
i think we as a community need to be done using terms like “bottom” and “pillow princess” negatively, even as a joke, because it’s not a joke anymore in so many spaces. I saw a young lesbian earnestly ask what a pillow princess is in a queer forum and all of the answers were negative, every single one. i’m so tired of people calling real people and fictional characters bottoms as an insult—again, usually as a joke—and it’s so common in fandom. why are you labeling characters bottoms as a method of mocking them? genuinely ask yourself why a queer character or person receiving sex is so funny to you and why the punchline is that it’s somehow demeaning to receive acts of queer sex and consider the many layers of homophobia and even misogyny that have built the foundations of that seemingly harmless joke.
My fellow cis ladies, here's three transphobic arguments I want you to know now so you don't fall for them later because this is the hot topic gateway into conservatism for women.
Just to be clear, it's-it's-it's the Nazi kind of conservatism as well.
Remember "divide and conquer" is the name of the game, so don't be divided!
First thing transphobes are is they're gender essentialists, so they will tell you "men are inherently bad and evil and it's in their DNA, and women by contrast are good and fragile and precious." And it's the same logic as like "oh, women are more sensitive and nurturing, which is why they should stay at home." It's bullshit because women are not inherently anything, women are human beings with free will and idolization is just dehumanization with better PR [public relations]. I, as a woman, have capacity for evil, which makes my choice to be good that much more important.
Number two thing, and you will notice if you listen to TERFs [trans-exclusionary radical feminists] long enough is that they hate being women, they have a lot of internalized misogyny, they think being a woman is about pain and suffering. The attitude that women are predestined to suffer and men are predestined to make us suffer is a very defeatist attitude, it means that you can never see a future without misogyny in it.
And the number three thing, and this is the stupidest argument: They will tell you that cis men are pretending to be trans women to go into women's bathrooms. Men just simply don't need to do all of that. This is stranger-danger rhetoric which is based around this fear of "oh, strangers are the most dangerous thing to your child or to you" when it's statistically not true. Abusers are more likely to be people that you already know, which is bleak, I'm sorry, but that is the truth. Abusive men simply don't need to go to that effort.
Trans women are our sisters, they're our allies, and a world where a trans women is free and safe to express herself and her gender presentation as she wants to is a world where all women get to do that.
Al-Ghabra, on Wednesday at eight o’clock, the Zionist occupation bombed our house and destroyed that house, the house of the ancestors, the house of memories. Then I heard the sound of the missile in my ears, and I did not feel anything at that time except the sounds of screaming and crying.
My mother, my heart beat, my father, my back, my brothers, my sisters, and then I lost consciousness.. and I did not remember anything, and several hours later the next day I woke up and found myself on a bed inside the hospital. The first thing that came to my mind was to ask about my family, about my family.
Without a mother, without a father, without a family, without a home, without a job..
I am in dire need of shelter and work in order to live a decent life, like any young man my age🙏🙏💔

URGENT: HELP A FAMILY RAISE FUNDS TO EVACUATE AND FIGHT ILLNESS
Hello, I want to bring Nesma Ahmed (@nesmamomen)’s, and her sister Farah (@farahmoo)’s fundraisers. Before the war, Nesma was a final year student at the faculty of Information Technology in the Islamic University of Gaza. She lived with her large family, her bird Koko, and her cat Lucy in the Al-Remal neighbourhood in Gaza City (the most upscale neighbourhood in Gaza). Their sister Shahad was a student at Al-Azhar University, and the family was celebrating her achieving the 1st rank (with 95% GPA) at the end of her first year at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Her dream was to receive a scholarship and study abroad. Farah also dreamt of being a doctor, and they were eagerly awaiting her high school diploma, in hopes that she would receive a high score and subsequently go to medical college.
However, after the war, them and their family lost their homes and places of study and were subsequently displaced multiple times:
Their father Moenn (55 years old)
Their mother Hanaa (45 years old)
Their sister Dina and her children Nour and Omar (25, 6, and 5 years old respectively)
Their sister Shahad (19 years old)
Their twin brothers Muhammad and Ahmed (15 years old)
Their brother Abdullah (13 years old)
Their sister Taleen (11 years old)
When the occupation bombed their house, Muhammad was severely injured on his leg, and Shahad tried her hardest to tend to his wounds in their dire conditions. He finds it very difficult to walk now. Their father also requires several medications; he suffers from diabetes, heart problems, and high blood pressure. He needs medical help that is currently unavailable in Gaza.
After they reached Rafah, they were once again subjected to bombardment and were displaced to Khan Yunis, where their father was injured, arrested, and subsequently tortured and starved. His health has collapsed and he is unable to move. He has also run out of medications.
They are currently in a tent in Rafah, and lack access to food, clean water, and other necessities. With the skin disease spreading across Gaza, Nesma and Farah’s younger siblings, niece, and nephew are very vulnerable. Hepatitis has also been spreading around the camp due to a lack of access to clean sanitation.
Nesma herself is also ill. She told me that she had to wait long lines to go to the hospital, where she was told that they weren’t sure if they could treat her. She received medicine from her sister, but it didn’t help much, and that she was too tired to move. Farah has mentioned that Nesma was shivering in the hot summer night, and that she may not be able to come online after a while.
If you have read this much, then please please donate and share their fundraiser. There are three members who are sick and/or injured, and they desperately need funds to live. Please don’t fail them at such a crucial moment. Help them recover and evacuate to live and rebuild their dreams.

I really am going to lose my mind siraj needs these funds by THE END OF THE DAY and we havent even made a DENT. We have given all possible information, we have explained you the urgency, we have told you what danger siraj is in i dont know what it will take to break people out of their apathy. I dont know how many different ways we can package this till you begin to take his situation seriously. I really dont know what to do at this point? Is this his punishment for being an arab man who wants to protect his children's privacy?????? For not showing off their photos like theyre showponies to get sympathy from an audience that has long since gotten desenitised to their pain??????? Is this your "compassion fatigue" showing??????????? cause i can tell you now you have no right to throw that term around when the governments of the countries we live in have aided and abetted in creating the situation we are seeing in gaza today. Fucking donate im terrified out of my mind for siraj and i dont know what will happen if he doesnt get the funds in time
Since this post was made we were notified by some people that they are unable to donate to siraj's gfm because gfms run by organizers based in canada, as is the case here, do not accept donations from paypal.
If you want to donate to siraj's gfm with paypal or are having any trouble in doing so with general cards, please direct your donations to @malcriada who is a trusted friend of siraj. you can get in touch w them via dms so they can donate in your stead, they will send a screenshot of the donation made to you as proof.
The saddest thing about this though has been that we had still been holding out the hope that maybe this had been the obstacle that had been preventing people from donating, but it seems that wasnt the case.
Apart from the fact that it seems lately we are hitting the limit of people's compassion on here, people genuinely are not receptive to siraj's gfm like the others and it is likely for all the reasons i talked about before.
This has come at the worst time, when siraj has come to a point where he has had to use up most of the funds he's raised so far already for daily expenses, especially with the sudden increase in the number of people he is taking care of since his parents and siblings got displaced due to the latest attack by the iof. He did not have enough money for another tent to accomodate them at the time and had to sleep outside so they could get shelter instead.
His children are still sick, and with more people to look after, expenses have increased even more.
He needs 45K BY TOMORROW and 50K WITHIN THIS WEEK
Right now we are only at $43,908 CAD / $45,000
Let me once again remind you that this isnt charity. This is reparations.
We are nearing october, meaning nearly 1 whole year of genocide. You CANNOT afford to give into apathy and normalize this. If anything, it should MOBILIZE YOU to extend any support you can.
Ignore the amount of notes this has. Siraj is still nowhere near the goal. Share and donate as much as you can, and follow siraj's blog @/siraj2024 for his daily updates.
this is just my opinion but I think white leftist and activists need to hear that talking about reacting to black people getting brutalized and killed or spreading those videos around is not activism and it's just traumatizing/re-traumatizing other black folk/other people of color.
i get y'all doing this to spread awareness but please remember these black folk aren't martyrs they're just people/victims who were killed/brutalized due to systemic racism(mainly by cops) these people have families so please take that into consideration too(unless families specifically want those videos spread to give awareness)
