Sooo...
My doctor put me on Adderall to combat my ADHD.
I've always been uneasy about taking meds for ADHD, and figured I should at least try it and see if it will help. I've heard it helped, but never tried.
Works wonders for me in the concentration department. I get a lot more done through out the day. I don't feel as if I am walking in circles any more. Definitely focused more.
I was also advised to not consume caffeine as adderall is a stimulant, and the last thing i need is an additional stimulation. Interestingly enough, I have not even wanted to touch a soda. I don't even want a gatorade (which I drank constantly because I couldn't handle water). Now, all I ever want is water.
I don't really feel hungry throughout the day. I get up and eat a really good size portioned breakfast since I figured out quickly that my appetite would be gone, and then I try and snack on something healthy if I can throughout the day. Then usually a small dinner. I read somewhere that your appetite eventually works back to a normal level once your body gets used to it.
I feel like I've changed a lot in just a matter of a few days. I know that I haven't changed necessarily, but I am working at my full potential.
I even felt more focused at soccer this evening. I had a really good game, and felt great the entire time. I didn't doubt myself, or talk negatively about my game once. (I'm usually extremely hard on myself).
So, after these few days I feel good.
Lets keep this going.
