affirmations they will not kill me at work today. it is not in my job description to get killed. if they did kill me at work that would be weird and probably not worth it for them

It's actually super unethical to keep a peeve as a pet
i know the way people talk about their pets now is probably how we’ve been doing it for all of history. a cat owner in ancient rome saw their cat lounging on the dining pillows and commented “he thinks himself to be the senator claudius 🤣”
The first attested cat in Japan was given to a young 9th century emperor and his diary about it includes such gems as 'I affixed a bow about its neck, but it did not remain for long.", "The color of the fur is peerless. None could find the words to describe it, although one said it was reminiscent of the deepest ink.", "When it lies down, it curls in a circle like a coin. You cannot see its feet. It’s as if it were circular Bi disk." and "I am convinced it is superior to all other cats.” Basically posting about how his void is the best little void and so good at getting really round
Camp Fees 4 Disabled Folks Survival
Hi, me and my family are homeless and trying not literally die this summer due to the heat. In order to do that (plus provide ourselves a stable-ish living space and basic hygiene) we need to be able to stay at a campground.
35CAD (25USD) is the rate per night, adjusted to include paypal fees. We have other expenses too, including food, cooking gas, vehicle gas, and storage bills.
Anything can help us a lot, boosts are appreciated, small amounts add up, etc.

The science behind THC + alcohol as a combination is literally soo interesting because it basically causes the crimson red duckling in your body to confront the serpent in the bronze vessel of your heart. Basically you feel good because the duckling is able to eat the harmonious seeds stored within the vessel and transfer these positive energies into your body. You can have bad highs when this happens if the duckling awakens the serpent and it bites the duckling. The interesting part is when you ingest alcohol after THC because it floods the vessel and causes the serpent to fall into a deep sleep. The duckling never gets attacked by the serpent when this happens because it is unconscious and the duckling is actually able to get fat from the harmonious seed, which causes an enjoyable sensation.
i love writing out numbers and then putting them in parentheses like "one (1)" even when i dont need to i think its funny
can we get some rollator and walker appreciation 🗣️‼️ i see a lot of cane and crutch and wheelchair appreciation but where's the love for rollators and walkers ‼️‼️‼️
disabled people, we don't need to care that the people who are stripping rights from people with intellectual disabilities or profound cognitive impairments because maybe they'll go after the rest of us next. we need to care now on the sole basis that these disabled people deserve their dignity. get involved with a disability rights charity or organisation wherever possible
Since we are between Pride Month and Disability Pride Month… I wish more people talked about how being disabled is queer
Besides the fact that a lot of disabled people need to have non traditional sex, there are a lot of things that make being disabled queer
As opposed to abled men, disabled men are considered inherently unsexual beings. When their "need" for sex is recognized the solution is only considered to be found through pity or prescribed through prostetution like its a medication. There is also a common issue (in my anecdotal opinion) of disabled men being allowed to be sexual predators because no one believes them capable of being sexual
Disabled women are also considered sexless but instead of being seen as incubators like abled women the idea of them having children is taboo and thus they are considered to perpetually be children
Despite a great deal of disabled people being non binary (probably due to what I'm discussing here) they have a hard time finding validation and accessibility in queer spaces.
Queer, trans and non binary disabled people are under far more pressure to remain closeted because they can't afford to alienate any family members, medical practitioners, or political parties. Many also have to maintain affiliation with churches that are hostile to them so they can remain eligible for food and other aid
There is a lot more but I just wanted to touch on the major categories
Please share this especially if you aren't disabled yourself. If you are disabled I hope this encourages you to talk more about these issues and how they affect you because you aren't alone
Having a job is an awesome way to stay hydrated because you get so bored you start drinking water just for a little excitement
why is everyone who claims to discuss homeschool bans being necessary as a disabled person coming from a background of mental illness and not, like, childhood cancer leaving someone in the hospital frequently getting chemotherapy for years. I feel like mental illness is not the only disability that people get homeschooled for. I think you are leaving out a large group of people who aren't in the situation of "in person school sucks" and are instead in the situation of "I live in a hospital and literally cannot go to in person school no matter how much I want to so the alternative to homeschooling is just not going to school at all"
"I was bullied so I was homeschooled and therefore as a disabled person I think it was bad so we need to ban it"
you do see how this is different from being a child with a severe immunodeficiency who will literally Die from any of the bugs that get passed around at school, right?

The surveyors include:
- Kenneth J. Zucker, an advocate for conversion therapy.
- J. Michael Bailey, a proponent of Blancharts ideas (autogynephile vs gay man dichotemy)
- Lisa Littman, the woman who coined the term "rapid-onset gender dysphoria"
This study is not conducted in good faith, it's intended to be used to strip away our rights, not understand us.
Putting this in a lot of tags so people see it.
Where's his Oscar?
i get why people don't believe in marriage as a social construct but legally it is the best and easiest way to say "this is who i trust to take care of me when i can't take care of myself" and i'm so glad gay people fought for that right bc when shit gets scary at least i know im in good hands
