I watched as the night sky slowly, beautifully, expectedly shifted from one side of the sky to the other, a choreography words cannot douse, I watched as time crept forward an invisible clock, my heart beats as the constellations fill my eyes, I remain still, timeless to the stare I see the innocence behind the beautiful eyes I wish I could call mine, full of life and beyond my selfish touch, a steady peace I have forgotten and now rekindled at the scent of the tree breeze I've grow to love, my footsteps dry to the smile the vibrant strands clear the pain but take away in piece, solace is but a vivid picture dense in creation and as far away as the stars, calloused fingers bleed in tale and paint the cues to match what I refuse to believe in trapped behind her emotion I level myself to the plane and wonder if I'm a dream, created from dust to fill the holes a missing note in her song the temporal smile lifted in flawless movement I'm distant as I search reliving the past like a book, I wish the voices to simmer the insecurities to bury I wish for something to believe in as my eyes readjust in sense to the only light that blinds me...
