Syaoran being in need of hugs and walking face-first into Fai. Syaoran getting his hugs and also some hair ruffles. All of them looking out for each other and being wonderful to each other. I love this so much. I am never getting over this moment.

In reality, most veterans suffer from serious PDST after war, which would take years, even one’s whole life to recover. That’s why I doubt if they could reach true happiness after war(if they live till then…), but they need each other, because they are two broken souls, only complete when they are together.
p.s. the translation of the ancient Chinese peom is: “I made a promise to you, that whether we are dead or alive, together or separated, I would hold your hands, and grow old with you.” which I think is really beautiful and suits them.
