14. Unpopular opinion about the fandom?

what is with all the people who are like “ivypool is a stargender butch lesbian. i refuse to elaborate on what this even means in the context of the clans and i refuse to say anything about this other than baldly stating that it is true.” why do so many people think that a bunch of feral cats have the same understanding of gender as tumblr microlabel users. (not that there’s anything wrong with tumblr microlabel users, but they’re feral cats.) and if you don’t have anything to say about how your queer headcanon impacts your reading of the character why even have it!

15. Unpopular opinion about the books?

i have no idea what’s unpopular anymore i don’t keep up with shit. uh. i actually like crowfeather and don’t think he sucks, that was unpopular back in 2018?

did you mean: 90% of my thoughts on warriors 

if you want an actual list: I would have given crowfeather’s arc an actual resolution rather than having it trail off into whatever happened in the power of three subseries; i would have given leafpool an actual character motivation so that she could act as well as reacting; i would have cut everything about scourge and bloodclan in favor of having firestar and tigerstar fight each other directly; i would have made sure that brambleclaw did not just randomly forget for no apparent reason that his father was evil and untrustworthy after just having had a whole arc about how he Isn’t His Father, i would have provided more background on how onestar’s entire personality flipped around when he became leader (and honestly i think this was a perfectly plausible thing to have happen based on the politics of windclan at the time but the reasoning should really have been in the actual series), and i would generally have included like 150% more politics

i would be a kittypet all the way in the warrior cats universe. if i heard a bunch of guys were in the woods killing each other for survival and they think i'm the lame one for getting mediocre banquets i would be like you guys are stupidd and then when the thunderclan medicine cat comes by my fenced lot to pick yarrow i would be like what are doing and shes like medicine so my clanmates don't die and i'm like wow you guys really have it that rough. and she keeps encountering me and one day i'm like why don't you come inside there's plenty of kibble and she averts her eyes shyly and is like ...no that would be against starclan and i'd go To have a little kibble? and she's like You know what i mean. and i do. 5 moons later she is getting adopted by my people and visions of her ancestors still haunt her and she is from time to time like Did I do the right thing...? how could i be so selfish...? and i'm like my toy mouse squeaks

Not to have warrior cats thoughts on main again but I wonder if it's considered gauche to name your kit in such a way that it's really clear you're gunning for a specific warrior name.

Like if Appleflower over in the nursery gives birth to a tortoiseshell with one white paw and names her Whitekit, does her leader give her a strong side-eye and think I see what you did there, I know you're trying to railroad me into fucking Whitefoot or Whitestep, and I swear to StarClan if I'm still leader by the time that thing has a ceremony, she's Whitecloud. I'll do it just to be a dick to you specifically, you can't fucking tell me what to do

anyway would u believe i'm changing Duskpaw's name again, it's probably Specklepaw now for Reasons that aren't not at least a little related to canon inexplicably deciding to have protag sets with day/night themed names twice in a row

#17 Snailshade

no one really knows what this guys deal is bc he doesn't like or talk to anyone. Honestly the only reason he stays in RiverClan instead of fucking off to be a loner is for the security. He prefers vanishing early to patrol by himself, which he usually can do as even the deputy occasionally forgets he exists for days at a time.

I heard that sometimes when cat gets really bad scar the fur starts to grow white there. So I'm kinda wondering two things.

1) That Brightheart's scars when healed would grow only some fur that would be white

2) When leaders are killed and brought back, the wound that killed them grows white fur there. For example: Firestar would have a few thin white stripes from Scourge and the fox trap.

1) Yeah, that's probably what would happen! Like this a cat who had eye surgery:

2) I love this idea! And if someone wants to give star marks to the leaders, this could be a neat explaination as well: it's caused when the cat dies and loses their original life during the leader cerenomy.
