“You’re probably right,” Amber admitted with a sigh. As much as she wanted this to be over, she had a sinking feeling it would be a while before the last of the stolen data was released. “How’ve you been faring through all this?”

“That’s not a bad idea,” she laughed.  “Though maybe just be careful with the ones you take and post to Instagram.”  It was really the only suggestion she could make.  “Maybe be sure to delete the ones you don’t need?”
“Maybe, but I’ve heard that there are people who pay attention to how many posts people have, and start digging to figure out what happened when some disappear? That probably isn’t good either...” She frowned. “I guess I have a lot I should probably talk about with my team. Thanks for the advice, though.”

“If you wanted for things to make sense, I’m afraid this isn’t really the industry for you.”
Amber couldn’t help but chuckle at that. “You have a point there,” she admitted, smiling. “Maybe it’s for the best that things don’t really make sense here. I probably wouldn’t have managed to get cast on zero experience if they did.”

Jacob nodded his head a little bit as she spoke. “I mean, it seems like most people at this studio had something hidden on their phone, so at least you’re not alone in all of this.” He commented, shrugging his shoulders as he spoke.
“I mean, I guess that’s true... I think I’d still rather they hadn’t had their stuff leaked though, even if it meant more people freaking out about mine.”

“It’s awful that things are so… bad that people wouldn’t feel comfortable being themselves, I understand why we, supernaturals I mean, were in hiding for so long, we have abilities that can be scary and harmful but something like who a person chooses to love should never be the cause for someone else to feel scared or angry or offended about, love is love.” He shrugged.
“Thanks for the vote of support,” Amber said, managing a small smile. “I don’t really get why some people get so mad either, but... everyone here’s been really nice, at least. I just wish everywhere else could be so supportive.”

Sloane smiled. “Well, then how does next Friday sounds? Or Saturday, after the full moon and a couple of days to recover. Cause I’m sort of going to lock myself up this full moon, my go to is a large feline and a predator and I’m not risking it.”
“Saturday sounds good,” Amber agreed. “Is there anything I can do to help you get ready for the full moon...?”

Seeing the opening in her temporary shock, Ella widened her eyes and leaned forward as if she were about to disclose top secret information. “Of course! Nobody snoops that far into someone else’s business just for fun,” she advised her in a hushed tone, making a point to scan the room before allowing her gaze to fall back on Amber. “All I’m saying is be careful who you trust.”
“Um,” Amber hesitated. “I... kind of feel like maybe they do? If there’s money to be made? Or even if it was a grudge, it probably would’ve been against someone who has an issue with the whole studio, not me in particular. I mean, it wasn’t even my phone that got hacked, so...”

“Okay,” Sabrina said softly, giving Amber a reassuring smile as she spoke. “Is it like an aura thing? or do you think something else? And can you- can you explain the something off? If you can’t it’s okay. We’ll figure it out together.”Â
“It’s sort of an aura... I think? It’s like... she’s in danger of... something? But not in danger at the same time. And she has two different emotions at once? But they don’t go together.” Amber paused, closing her eyes to focus in on the phenomenon she’d been trying to avoid. “She’s terrified, or will be? But she’s annoyed with herself for being terrified, but not herself... the annoyed part’s in control. It wants the terrified part to be quiet. But the annoyed part isn’t there yet.” She opened her eyes and looked back over at Sabrina. “Sorry... like I said, it doesn’t make any sense.”

“Yeah well, story of my life.” Jackie heaved a sigh. “Just don’t expect me to be in a good mood today. I’m preemptively apologizing for the things I’m going to say to you later when you’re filming.”
“Oh, um. Thanks? Apology preemptively accepted,” Amber replied with a tentative smile. “Drinks aside, is there anything I can do to help?”

Rocky smiled when she asked her if it ever gets less weird. “It sadly becomes a norm. Like this stuff, it didn’t actually bother me that much. I wish wives didn’t try to contact me. But I’ve lived my entire life on both realms with everyone knowing a lot about me. Pretty much everything, so it becomes pretty much an every day thing that you live your life in a fishbowl.”
“That sucks,” Amber said with a sigh, running a hand through her hair. When she’d been on the other side of the glass, she hadn’t thought nearly so much about how hard it must be for the people in the fishbowl. “How do you deal with it?”

“I don’t want to think so no. They’re saying- they’re saying its Devin, but,” Connor trailed off, shaking his head at the thought. “It would make sense, wouldn’t it? To be someone we work with? But, I just- I’m having a hard believing that someone who cares about us would do that to everyone here?”
“I don’t know... I guess whether it was Devin or not, whoever it was must’ve had their reasons?” Not that having reasons to do a terrible thing made doing the terrible thing okay. "Whoever it was, I just hope they’re done.”

“I’m glad that everyone’s being so supportive. It means that maybe there is some good in the world. Granted there had to be some evil in it to release this information, I’m glad that there’s some good to counteract the negativity. Sometimes a little kindness goes a long way.”
“You can say that again,” Amber agreed, managing a smile. “Honestly, as much as this whole thing sucks right now, it’s kind of nice to know that so many people have my back.” She shrugged. “But anyway, enough about me. How’re you holding up?” She’d been avoiding the tabloids as much as possible, so she had no idea whether Luna had been impacted by the hack.

“That’s how things work, unless you had pictures or videos of you going down on a girl and even then, most people will assume you’re straight unless you specifically tell them otherwise.” She shrugged.
“I guess that explains a lot,” Amber admitted, though she was admittedly still pretty baffled. “Even if it... doesn’t really make sense?”

“You’ve got a point there.  I’ve never been so glad that my father always told me not to trust technology than I am right now.”  At the time she thought he was paranoid, but now?  It made her skate through this without much issue, despite knowing it could have been a lot worse.
“Wise words,” Amber agreed. “I kind of feel like just deleting everything right now and staying away from all things digital for a while, but something tells me my publicist wouldn't be happy about me getting off Instagram.”

“A little bit… And really?” Dani asked, a grateful smile finding its way to her face as she gave the other a quick nod. “Yes please. You know you are quickly making your way up on my list to favorite co-star. Don’t tell Grant though,” She teased. She was just thankful to have the other there. Even if Amber couldn’t help, it just was nice to know she wasn’t completely alone in this.
“Of course! I mean, I don’t know how much help I’ll actually be, but two heads are better than one, right? And don’t worry, my lips are sealed.”

It was a passing comment, not meant to be directed at anyone in particular. She wasn’t an idiot, Ella knew that, but it piqued her curiosity and she found herself turning to face the other woman with an arched brow. “You were outed?” She asked bluntly before remembering her people skills and plastering a almost sincere smile. “Dios mĂo, that is so wrong.” Leaning forward to get a glimpse of what she was reading, Ella’s brows furrowed together. “Someone must have it out for you, girl.”
“You think so?” Amber asked, startled. It hadn’t even occurred to her that someone might have done this for personal reasons. “I figured whoever it was probably just did it to make a quick buck.”

“I’m still sorry you have to deal with that. It isn’t fair to anyone that their secrets are out there like that.” Jacob would’ve never wished for anyone’s secrets to just be revealed like that, mostly because he believed people should have a choice in what the public knows about them. “I’m doing alright. I was lucky that I clear most of the stuff on my phone that I wouldn’t want people to see, just because I’ve never trusted how easy it is for people to hack.”
Amber nodded. “That’s smart... I guess I should probably start clearing my stuff more often, too.” Not that she thought there was much of anything on her phone that could be sold to a tabloid now that her relationship with Sloane was out in the open.
