Watina!!!! By far my favorite design from NoTW and I'm not ashamed to say it. I really love her character overall and I'm excited to write any pathways where the MC has to visit her.
I also need to decide still how she communicates since, well, she doesn't have a mouth lol... I've done different things so far but none have felt quite right

So I decided to do randomly generated song drawings again! Partially out of boredom, mostly because I do miss doing these and I've gotten a little faster at drawing.
This one starts off with a fun one! Once I started listening to this song, I actually got inspiration for a Alex/Maru fanfic that I had started/gotten a concept of but hadn't actually written anything for. I listened to this song for about 11 hours straight and wrote the entire fanfic. So I decided that making the drawing related to the fic would be a great idea.
I really had fun drawing Maru especially for this - girl is stunning and I think I love this depiction of her more than any other ones I have done before. I'm also absolutely gonna have to write about Alex and her together more, they were really fun!

Whenever I think of the Crystal Empire episodes and the crystal ponies, I honestly first imagine this librarian (who I didn't know was named Amethyst Maresbury until now but I love it). She's not there for very long, but her epiphany that she does work at the library always stuck with me.

I've been chipping away at a Penny/werewolf!Alex oneshot for a month or so now, but with everything going on my brain's been too fried to really work on my fics. So I got struck with doodling this!
The collar is just a part of my canon when I ship Alex and Penny now. That was only supposed to be part of Trust the Simulation but now it's gonna pop into any Alex/Penny fic I write skjjkshkc
I'm also considering taking the oneshot and making it into a multi-chaptered longfic, just to play around with this AU some more. Primarily because of one scene that's gotten trapped in my skull but that I wouldn't be happy with without an emotional build up to it.
I dunno, we'll see!

I love a character with a green color scheme. I don't tend to design them I definitely lean more towards blue and purple but it's always so fun to draw. It's such a vibrant color

As the graphic says, I recently rescued a kitten and I figured a good way to help take care of him would be if I directed all commissions toward his needs.
As of 6/21/26, I also have about a week left of my current job and am still looking for a new one. My final paycheck will be enough to cover my usual bills for July, and I know I can get a job (or some money in general) by August but because of this sudden layoff, I figure these can ensure Binkly is cared for.

Admittedly I still need to finish his ref sheet that I started literal months ago. BUT! He's my favorite farmer to write so I just had to make an icon for him as soon as I could ^^
And the mermaid pendant was ridiculously fun to render lol - they typically give me a hassle but this one was easy to do and looked amazing on the first go, so I'm happy!

Don't you just love getting contacted by scammers who try to pull the same exact trick each time? Isn't it just fun?
Anyways! Whenever I get someone replying to a post that just went up asking if I do commissions, especially when that post mentions that commissions are open, it's immediate guard up. Followed by anything relating to multiple drawings and for someone else.
This one was "splatoon drawings for my daughter". all full body, fully rendered, with the same complex background, but different drawings for each character. All the poses in the "refs" they sent, no variation.
Really, the only thing missing in this one was "I have a budget of $300" and "in your style"
All that said I'm happy to waste their time and see at which point they realize their scam isn't gonna work.
And to any scammers: get fucking creative if you're targeting someone who's been posting online for half a decade, these convos are getting repetitive and I want variety in the scam attempts

I got struck the other day with the concept of genderbent!Penny/Alex and ran with it ^^
I may or may not write a fic with them genderbent - we shall see how my mental state fares! For real though Alex/Penny has steadily climbed up to one of my favorite ships

And with this we're done with the 'Amber's! This design weirdly gave me an amount of trouble that I just. hadn't expected going in. Unlike the next design in line, which I knew as soon as I saw the armor would be annoying to draw. I think for this one though, it was translating a Minecraft skin with basically just black and red into something a little more colorful.

Much like Lu I'm still figuring out Gale's role in the story. I know he is the main mentor for anyone who learns water magic in Estuary - you must check with him first before you can learn it. He's also semi-retired from the Council - still involved in bigger projects, but he's stepped away and has been letting his Apprentice take charge in Itireae more often.
What I need to decide is how far he's willing to really go against the Council. He already knows two kinds of magic which makes his existing in the Council's sphere risky, but I don't see him outright joining Asonze's side or the rebels as an organization. I need to figure out how he feels about the Council as a whole before I continue with his character, really: where he aligns with them and where he disagrees, or when he sided with them versus when he began to deviate.

Full disclosure I was trying to find where Amber appeared in Tangled: the Series because I have Vat7K and Tangled characters lumped into the same column on my sheet. It took an embarrassingly long time until I remembered that she was a fan character in Vat7K. I pretty much Wes-Westoned myself with her lmao
And even then, I was surprised by how little fanart there was of her. I could have sworn I'd seen her incorporated into a lot of Vat7K fics, so I thought she was more widely known/popular. But I guess I was mistaken 😅
