bella:
It was the passion within those amber eyes that set her soul alight with a fire she recognized from days long past. She hadn’t thought the embers would still be glowing but the proof showed itself within her chest, red hot and burning. She wanted to reach for him now, wanted to trace the contours of his eyes with the very tips of her digits, take in the familiarity, the passion, the hunger for violence. She wanted to see him destroy.
( her, someone else, it didn’t matter. )
“You do look dreadful,” she mused, lips puckering, eyes casting a look down his tall form. “Hmm.” His words caused that fire to settle lower, heat up between her legs, make her feel a different kind of hunger. It had also been too long since that kind of violence between her and him — and oh, how she’d missed that, too. “Come with me.” He was indecisive, so she took the lead — an easy pattern, a familiar one. She held the leash.
Pivoting, she made for the door, only to look over her shoulder in the doorway. “Who knows, perhaps I left one or two less DEAD than I thought I did…”
he could never have forgotten the power that raged beneath her fingertips-- that spilled into every crack, every inch of the area she dominated. he could NEVER forget it-- far too captivated by it for it to possibly leave his mind. but certainly, the memories DULLED, especially by comparison to how it felt in this moment. to stand before her and simply exist as her side, to feel the power and terror radiating.
still, he thinks bellatrix is the most divine creature to walk the earth. the beauty within her far more than just the visuals. it is deep and complex and he would THANK HER for destroying him with it.
straightens up somewhat, lips holding that vicious grin as he looked to her-- FOLLOWS after like he always would. ( has for so long been loyal to only her. does not speak it, but knows he doesn’t need to. )
moves with a swift grace in spite of the previous situation, in spite of any lingering pains. is strengthened by the simple act of being with bellatrix. “it’ll be a DELIGHT to stomp out any remaining life that may twitch through pathetic bones.”
