Every time I see this, it makes me happy.
there are so many layers to why this vine is immaculate. the slight blur of maple in the background. the halo effect on her fur. the warm autumn lighting. there are no flaws to this and i could watch it forever
More animal vines here
a message to young actors
it’s okay that you didn’t start training as a child, lots of successful actors didn’t even start acting until college or even as adults. it’s okay
it’s okay that you weren’t cast in every musical or play in high school. once you get to college and the real world, no one will care that you were never a lead in high school
even if you don’t get into your school or program of choice, there are still so many options out there. where you go to college does not determine whether you will become successful or not. your own drive and determination does. you must be willing to give it your all and work.
take advantage of the area you live in. you can take acting and voice lessons outside of your college courses and doing so is often cheaper.
read. read. read. immerse yourself in new plays. go to your library and take out at least three that interest you. you’ll be surprised how much material you can find.
see live theatre. it doesn’t have to be professional. go see your little sibling’s high school production. go support your local community theatre companies. support regional theatre. broadway isn’t the only thing thats out there.
take chances you never thought you would before. audition for things. be prepared of course, but go and put yourself out there. it’s good experience and the more you audition, the better you get at it.
make connections and network with people you meet along the way. you never know how important they might be one day.
a rejection is not the end of the world. you’re not “bad” if you’re not cast in something, you just were not what the director wanted. you will get where you want to be. you just need to keep at it.
make friends with people in other aspects in theatre. learn skills that are a part of other aspects of theatre. as an actor, you never know when you will need those skills and those skills might be able to land you a job.

reblog if you agree
Thinx is a brand of underwear for humans that menstruate. Those humans are not necessarily always going to be cisgendered women, as transgender men can, and do, menstruate. With its latest subway campaign, which took over New York’s Union Square station today, the brand has represented exactly that.
“Trans inclusion is something that has been on our radar since the iteration of our Boyshort, which was specifically designed with the trans male menstruating community in mind" Miki Agrawal
