Unlike the majority of residents, Amelia Rhodes did not arrive into town until she was about eighteen years of age when she moved to take care of a dying grandmother. Growing up, Amelia was an army brat and is perfectly fine with the fresh starts. In fact, she loves them. In every town she gets a new opportunity to reinvent herself and finds it fascinating to see just what she can get people to believe. Even though she appears to be innocent, she is nothing of the sort. She is always up to something and is one of the most manipulative people in town.Â
While exploring the dark woods one night, Derek Hale found her and immediately bit her without hesitation. The entire situation seemed to be quite ironic - someone so smart was roaming through the dangerous woods alone. In her defense, though she was intelligent, Amelia had no idea of what was going on around her. The vampires, werewolves and witches had all been fantastic at hiding their identities. Chaos was in her nature and Derek couldnât deny that having her as in addition in his pack would definitely be a good thing. More werewolves equals more power and the stronger they were, the better. Amelia had not been too thrilled about the transformation at first, but after realizing the plus sides, she figured it was worth it. The fact that she thought the alpha was good looking didnât hurt so much either.Â
THE PRESENT/SUPERNATURAL EXPOSURE:
Like many of the other supernaturals in Mystic Harbor Hills, Amelia finds amusement from the townspeopleâs panic that there are, and have been, supernaturals living amongst them. Now realizing just how many supernatural creatures there are out there, sheâs eager to learn more about them and associate with all the advantages they have to offer. Amelia has been getting close to both the witches and has attempted to befriend the vampires, though has been mostly unsuccessful. However, she is keeping the fact that she is a werewolf under wraps, not wanting to draw any more attention to herself - and she is trying to do everything in her power to keep her name away from any rumors of being supernatural.
But, that doesnât mean that sheâs going to stay in hiding - oh, no. Amelia is interested in being friends with the supernaturals who have a more manipulative and mischievous side, just like her. So long as she ensures that she just looks like a girl walking the line of self destruction, Amelia doesnât think anyone will ever believe that sheâs anything other than human. Of course, thatâs provided that she doesnât cross the wrong person. After all, if she does and they know her secret, thereâs no telling what could happen.
