landing  in  trouble  was  so  on  brand  for  amelie  .  you’d  think  after  many  years  in  the  spotlight  she’d  learn  her  lesson  by  now  ,  but  if  anything  -  the  more  attention  that  was  received  ,  the  crazier  things  she  did  .  it  was  rare  there  were  moments  she  regretted  ,  but  the  most  notable  time  she  ever  wished  to  take  something  back  was  when  she  dated  ace  .  the  chaotic  antics  ultimately  brought  an  end  to  their  relationship  and  anytime  she  thought  about  it  ,  it  forced  her  to  do  a  bit  of  introspection  .  did  she  need  to  grow  up  ?  did  she  need  to  dive  deeper  into  why  she  needed  that  attention  that  was  so  desperately  craved  ?  luckily  ,  the  thoughts  didn’t  haunt  her  -  but  every  time  they  crossed  paths  ,  it  definitely  crossed  her  mind  .  today  -  there  was  no  random  crossing  of  paths  ,  the  reveler  actually  reached  out  to  him  to  come  over  to  her  house  .  the  reason  ?  legal  advice  .  he  was  the  best  of  the  best  and  knew  her  better  than  any  other  random  lawyer  in  nyc  ,  so  why  not  .  it  also  never  hurt  to  see  just  what  your  ex  was  up  to  and  in  true  amelie  fashion  ,  snoop  around  to  see  what  exactly  their  love  life  looks  like  now  .  after  hearing  a  yell  from  her  maid  ,  zuzanna  ,  that  ace  was  there  -  ams  made  her  way  down  the  penthouse  steps  to  spot  him  .  “  well  ,  look  who  finally  made  an  appearance  back  here  .   just  couldn’t  stay  away  ,  right  ?  ”  she  jokes  with  a  grin  on  her  face  as  she  makes  her  way  closer  to  him  ,  going  in  for  hopefully  not  an  awkward  hug  to  greet  the  boy  .  it  felt  like  things  had  ultimately  cooled  down  since   they  split  -  and  if  he  was  willing  to  come  over  ,  things  had  to  be  in  a  way  better  place  .  “  so  you  get  two  guesses  on  exactly  what  i  could  be  in  trouble  for  this  time  ,  if  you’re  wrong  ....  ”  her  eyes  wander  over  to  the  bar  ,  signaling  he  had  to  drink  with  her  if  he  couldn’t  guess  .   hazel  hues  make  their  way  to  back  to  the  lawyer  ,  tone  a  bit  softer  than  before  .  “  but  before  that  happens  ,  on  a  serious  note  ...  thank  you  for  coming  ,  i  really  appreciate  it  .  ”

another  day  ,  another  day  to  wreak  havoc  on  new  york  city  .  amelie’s  way  of  doing  so  today  ?  a  night  of  partying  with  none  other  than  the  new  york  islanders  .  like  most  pro  teams  ,  their  parties  were  exclusive  and  amelie  always  found  herself  on  the  invite  list  .   it  was  always  a  scene  right  from  a  dream  for  her  :  good  vibes  ,  hot  athletes  ,  tons  of  alcohol  and  zero  regrets  .  the  energy  was  another  level  for  this  particular  event  considering  it  was  a  night  right  after  a  win  .  not  that  she  cared  that  much  about  sports  ,  but  her  spirits  were  as  high  as  if  she  just  won  something  .  with  the  tequila  taking  it’s  course  through  her  body  ,  she  scans  the  room  and  spots  an  all  too  familiar  face  .  giovanni  had  been  apart  of  her  life  since  they  were  kids  -  a  family  friend  thanks  to  the  verona  political  background  .  being  the  confident  &  forward  girl  she  was  ,  the  friendship  didn’t  stop  there  .  with  a  lingering  crush  from  when  they  were  young  ,  when  the  opportunity  was  presented  to  take  things  physical  -  the  consideration  of  who  he  was  dating  at  the  time  of  their  randevu  meant  nothing  .  whether  she  was  one  of  the  causes  of  his  failed  relationship  was  none  of  her  concern  -  he  didn’t  have  a  ring  on  his  finger  ,  they  had  fun  and  she  wanted  what  she  wanted  .   with  his  back  turned  ,  she  subtly  makes  her  way  up  to  him  and  places  her  hands  over  his  eyes  .  “  guess  who  ?  hint  :   it’s  your  favorite  person  ever  ,   the  hottest  of  the  hottest  in  nyc  ,  and  whose  owning  you  in  air  hockey  tonight  .  ”  before  he  even  gets  a  chance  to  respond  ,  the  reveler  calls  uncovers  his  eyes  and  hops  over  the  couch  ,  grabbing  a  seat  next  to  him  .  “  too  slow  ,  loser  .  ”  a  playful  grin  appears  on  her  face  as  she  teases  .  reaching  her  freshly  manicured  nails  into  her  purse  ,  the  brunette  grabs  two  mini  jose  shot  bottles  and  aims   one  over  to  the  athlete  .  “  you  have  to  take  one  of  these  now  for  not  answering  fast  enough  .  ”

it  should  have  just  been  a  fun  night  between  the  two  ,  but  with  double  trouble  of  the  same  personality  and  an  interesting  on  &  off  situationship  ,  the  current  scenario  shouldn’t  have  came  to  a  huge  surprise  .  regardless  of  the  off  &  on  ,  the  two  had  always  enjoyed  each  other’s  company  -  which  is  was  brought  them  to  their  plans  tonight  .  all  was  going  well  ,  until  adrian  decided  to  ramble  on  and  on  about  his  latest  conquests  .  any  other  time  ,  the  coquettish  girl  herself  could  appreciate  it  ,  she  knew  exactly  how  he  moved  and  vice  versa  .  what  set  her  off  though  was  bragging  about  a  girl  she  hated  ,  then  proceeding  to  make  douchey  comments  and  comparisons  .  yes  -  he  was  probably  just  kidding  around  ,  poking  fun  as  the  two  could  do  together  ,  but  ams  silent  words  and  loud  actions  said  it  all  .  the  bright  idea  of  a  response  was  to  mess  with  him  right  back  ,  swerving  the  car  around  to  get  him  to  react  and  shut  up  .  a  smirk  appears  on  her  face  when  he  first  starts  making  a  fuss  ,  pushing  her  foot  harder  on  the  gas  as  he  continues  .  “  relax  ,  nervous  nelly  .  i  don’t  know  what  you’re  talking  about  ,  i’m  literally  driving  normal  .  ”  it’s  hard  for  her  to  say  it  without  laughing  ,  knowing  she’s  pissing  him  off  right  back  .  “  no  ,  why  would  i  pull  over  -  i’m really  interested  in  hearing  more  about  the  devil  and  how  amazing  she  is  ,  please  continue  to  tell  me  more  !  ” if  it  wasn’t  apparent  before  what  caused  her  reaction  ,  it  was  now  .  she  finally  begins  to  slow  down  and  ease  on  the  swerving  ,  her  point  made  loud  and  clear  .  “  ooh  ,  maybe  i  should  ‘  start  ’  driving  crazy  ,  i  kinda  want  to  see  how  you’re  going  to  make  me  .  ”  finally  taking  a  quick  look  at  him  ,  the  devious  grin  grows  wider  on  her  face  -  a  true  sign  of  crazy  .
