Hi everyone,
Often I get questioned on why many of my posts repeat themselves, over and over.
The reason is pretty simple.
My blog is a chant, a chant of my love of Manliness.
In ancient Greece, warriors would often chant their love of fighting and virtue.
I share that same love of Manliness which includes a love of fight skills, a love of a trained and conditioned body and most importantly the love of the Moral Virtues of Humility, Integrity, Selflessness, Self Control and always showing Respect.
I love Manliness deeply and my blog is my daily chant of that love, a matra that repeats over and over.
Train and fight!

I just want to work hard, live simple, and lift heavy shit.
Wrapped up a 12 week program and brought in the new year with some new numbers. Its been just over a year since I started powerlifting, and it’s been an amazing adventure. I’ve learned to love the process and the grind, embracing the shitty lifts along with the good ones.
I know I’ve got more on my deadlift but I literally ran out of weights, looks like I’ll need to buy a couple sets of 45’s for future progress.
Squat - 350lbs (35 lb PR)
Bench - 255lbs (30 lb PR)
Deadlift - 430lbs (25lb PR)
Total - 1,035lbs (a 90lb increase in 12 weeks)
