S/o to that one time Aymon tried to steal something from Amia…and she ended up making off w his heart ;DDDD  No, but I do think Aymon is one of those ppl who falls in and out of love supER easily and is often in love w multiple ppl at once time and honestly his emotional situation is 100% confusing 100% of the time to everyone (including him) buT anyway I honestly do see Aymon just being amazed by her and super heart eyes all the time and he def expresses that in weird ways, but there it is hahaha

also I 10000%%% feel like 1 time she was chatting with him and then he left and like .2 seconds later guards showed up like “omg there was a robbery we think he came this way did you see him???” and amia is like “oh my gosh!!! that’s terrifying but no i haven’t seen him” and not putting it together that aymon and the thief are 1 and the same :))))))

anyway idk that they’ve seen each other in awhile/will each other other again soon considering she’s in the north???? but I feel like they may have been friends since they were kids???? I can’t remember but I think aymon worked for some noble family when he was younger???? and if that was the case, i can def see her meeting him if it was a family the wystans visited often and I can see them hitting it off?????? thoughts?????

“You’re too pretty to be a barmaid,” One of her customers said, as he took another sip of ale, “Where did you come from? You’re not from these parts. If you were, I’d know.” Amia stiffened noticeably at his words, for a moment afraid that he was there at her father’s request to take her home to the west. “Your hands are too soft,” He continue, brushing one of his hands against her own which had been resting on the counter. “And your eyes are too kind.”

She pulled her hand away from his abruptly.

He was handsome: it was the first thing she noticed about him, but there was something about him she did not like. He drank too much, flirted too openly, and had a hint of mischief in her eyes that made her uneasy.

He laughed softly, “I’m not going to hurt you. I only mean to please you.”

“I wish you wouldn’t.”

He grinned, “I must beg your forgiveness, but I am a slave to my own heart. and when I am with you, I can not be held accountable for my actions.” With that he paid her in full and was gone.

So continuing from our texts, I think that that all sounds good and tbh him being drunk and being cruel to a servant would probs be enough for Amia to be all “who even is this guy?!?!?” and then #amiaout and lol they are both like “... so this person was def not what i expected” 

Also, yes! I think that, in the west, the Wystans are the most prominent family second only to the Viponts so it would have been a good match 

Anyway, I wasn’t think that they would ever seen each other again, but since Normand travels around, maybe they do??? I mean if he frequents taverns???

HOUSE WYSTAN THO i legit cannot  I mean, just the kids alone like damnnnn

I def think that Gresilda’s main worry about leaving the West was leaving Amia.  Like, I mean she trusts her and believes in her, but still its hard to say goodbye, esp when you know you’re leaving someone in a tough situation, but even so, I think Gresilda was conscious of the fact that the North was a harsher reality, yet, and Amia was about to marry and be out of that house.  Plus, Gresilda’s hella driven to pursue her path.  I think she feels it’s the one tribute she has left to give her brother and that he, all his fellows, and really all of Aragoth deserve some form of justice.  If there’s one small thing she can do to contribute to that worthy outcome, she feels she must; damn the consequences.  Plus, she knew Amia was safe.

As a result of all these things, I think she’s v torn.  For one thing, I know she def wants to protect and shelter her sister.  Gresilda is every inch the protector, no mysteries there, and the most important ppl in her life are Amia and their brother.  Their brother’s gone.  Death is a v real possibility in her mind and I think she knows she wouldn’t survive loosing Amia.  Up north, just walking to work could be a death sentence, if the sun’s not up.  You could freeze just going there, esp if it’s dark and you loose the path and I think Gresilda’s like, “Imma walk you to and from work everyday.  This is non-negotiable” ;DDDD  But at the same time, i think she sometimes worries that she’s being ~over protective and she def wants Amia to achieve all her dreams and just…she has a tough time striking the right balance, I think.

Btw, what’re their siblings’ names?  I feel like Gresilda and their bro kinda raised Amia, at least.  Did you say the middle sister was closer in age to Gresilda than Amia?  Anyway, whatever the case, I feel like Gresilda that that sister have a v combative relationship and the sis was always trying to get Gresilda to hang up her sword and be ladylike and Gresilda was like, “Do you have any other terrible schemes you’d like to pointlessly suggest?” basically (except tbh she never said that, she just was stoic and then went and knocked some knights into the dirt when they doubted her *shrug*)  So yeah idk atp I’m pr much just rambling…

KATE HELP ME I’M IN SUCH  A WEIRD MOOD BUT I MOSTLY C A N N O T wiTH THE WYSTANS AND HELP I’VE FALLEN DOWN AND CAN’T GET UP AND IDK THIS IS BASICALLY A WARNING B/C GONNA DROP SOME FEELS 

AnYWAy, I’m also thinking that Normand Vipont isn’t that great of a guy (iF I do a western plot, which I’m probs not but who kNOWS, I was thinking that he’d probs even have a plot to kill off his nephew Gerolt and become warden himself) and I think that he can probs be charming when he wants to be and I think that Amia probs thought she was gonna be happy with them but she figured out what kind of person he was before the wedding and she was just like to quote hamlet act iii scene iii line 92: no. and that just served to further push her to leave like she wasn’t gonna marry him for anything AND be away from her sister and she just left. 

ANYWAY, so I’m thinking tho that maybe even gresilda didn’t realize what kind of guy he was really?? and she did leave thinking her sister was safe and gonna have a good life ahead of her being a wife and mother and you know amia would be hella good at that plus she’d be happy (altho not with normand hahahah) and yeah. also i can see where amia might NOT tell gresilda about normand being horrible and icRy. 

UGH BUT GRESILDA STRUGGLING NOOOOO. Like Amia never thought for a moment that she’d be giving Gresilda something to worry over? I think she would ahve had second thoughts about coming if she did. She also thinks she can take care of herself and I jus t???? Although I think she’s gonna realize pretty quickly that she’s not as cut out for this life as she thought she was and like hELP. But she’s also v determined and she’s gonna make it work even if it’s taking her a little longer than she thought. 

Okay I’m naming their bro Gawain and their sister Marguerite. And I feel like Marguerite was actually right in the middle of Gresilda and Amia?? HAHAH and I can definitely see that OMG. That’s actually exactly how I pictured it?? And I can see where Amia would have had a better relationship with her, especially when she was little, but I feel like she drifted away from her other sister when she saw how horrible she was to Gresilda and like NO?????? 

AlSO, what do you think their living situation is atp?? Do you think that gresilda just lived up at the castle??? And if so, I’m thinking that Amia is probs living at the tavern/inn place and idk it’s probs temporary I guess b/c i can’t imagine that’s too fun. Or do you think Gresilda is renting like a cottage or something??

FIFTY YEARS LATER:

oH MAN. iSOLDE WOULD ADORE MIA. BFFS FO LYFE.

Especially because… I think Isolde didn’t have many friends growing up? Like maybe when she was really small, yeah, but after her parents died, children are cruel and probably avoided their family for a while. Plus I’m sure Isolde had to work hard helping her sister with chores.

And then when her sister died, obviously it was all over for Isolde to really even think about making true friends until more recently when Annie and Baldwin didn’t rely on her so heavily for everything.

So I could see her being very excited to meet someone like Mia, and would be more than happy to give her advice. Probably brings her bread and soup and blankets and sneaks her a few of Tom’s cakes every once in a while, so they can sit and drink tea and get to know each other better.

She’d just see a light in Mia. And it’d be blinding to see the two of them shining together. (actual killas, these two walking about together.)

I’m already emotional about their friendship.

NOOOO ISOLDE NOOOOO OMG HER NOT HAVING ANY FRIENDS GROWING UP IS SO SAD I C A N N O T (literally isolde is probs like the most precious of all of the precious aragoth flowers and the fact that she didn’t have many friends growing up is just like whyyy and also howww and also nooooooo but mostly yes b/c painful things are good). 

HAHAH, omg tho!!! <333 I feel like Isolde probs has NO idea how much stuff like that means b/c Amia is like ????????? about how to live here and obvi she has her sister, but I feel like she’s not always there with Amia needs her (tbh she needs her pretty much 24/7 when she’s just starting out) and like how does one cook???? and omg blankets thank you i didn’t realize i needed so many up here??? Like I cry not only is this is a huge lifestyle change, but also just the weather alone is SO different and brutal and you really have to be a survivor to live up here and I think Mia was definitely like “omg the snow is so pretty” at first before she realized that it just doesn’t stOP ever and it’s hella cold and she’s gonna need a thicker coat, haha. 

Also, she’s gonna love the tea breaks like you don’t even know. Amia loves tea so much and thinks it can solve everything and she Amia/Isolde tea parties 5 ever man.

So both Amia and Sybil were engaged to uncles of wardens before they decided “screw this” and ran off to do their own thing, haha. Anyway, so idk how they would get along tho?? Like they have this shared life experience but they are both v different? And on one hand I can see them becoming unlikely friends but then I can also see where maybe they wouldn’t? Either way though, Amia doesn’t think anyone should be forced into anything and so she’s not on board with Sybil being sent back home b/c she would not like it if the same thing happened to her, haha, but on the other hand Sybil is a pirate and Amia is like “... but stealing is wrong?” and so I can see where she’d have some mixed feelings idk. Anyway thoughts???
