Anastacia rubbed her face, “Buzzkill…”She accused, “It’s no fun to drink alone.” Anastacia was one that liked to party. The more wild, the better. She had never gotten caught by police, however, she knew full well that it was affecting her mentally, if not physically.
He chuckled, “not the worst thing I’ve been called.” He shrugged, “well I’ll be with you to make sure you make it home safe, so I’ll stay and have a drink if you’d like. My name by the way is 天使 (Tenshi), or Angel in English, since you still haven’t asked.” He said playfully, his Japanese accent slipping in slightly.
“I’m Anastacia.” She held out a wobbly hand. “You’re not from around here, are you? People aren’t that nice, and then there’s the accent.” She looked at him. He looked kind, not like the others at this now dwindling party that she had met.
He smiled happily and shook her hand, “I’m from Japan and I’m nice to people unless they give me a reason not to be.”
