Will I regret this? Probably. But honestly this is a place where I will attempt to highlight the stupidity and the hypocrisy of BOTH communities because let’s be real, no one’s a saint here 😭

The system community is at such a low rn and being on it is exhausting. So instead of me trying to rage at one community with childish anger and hatred just because I don’t agree with them (like the 90% of the syscourse blogs, no offence) , I will instead call shit out from BOTH sides so yall are actually paying attention to the right shit instead of blaming each other for your own problems and issues that you caused.

I will post my own thoughts on here, I have my opinions too, but I am not gonna be harassing anyone (and if I have offended you or hurt you in any way then I am very sorry ;-;)

- If you are not even gonna bother reading my entire post then don’t respond with bullshit

- I am not gonna be trying to justify if endos are valid or not or which side is better, the whole point of this blog is to get both communities to stop being dicks at each other, so please don’t harass us over the validity of non-traumagenic ppl and try to “prove to us” that endogenic systems are scientifically possible because we have our own beliefs on that and we will decide on our own terms and do the research ourselves. On the flip side, don’t harass or annoy us for simply listening to pro endos voices who are genuinely concerned and hurt.

- If you can’t handle seeing someone have a wildly different opinion than you then don’t talk to us

- If you wanna vent, you can, but please do keep in mind that this is primarily a blog for syscourse and to also be respectful. I get that it can get painful and that you are hurt, but calling people names and shit and being toxic because of their stance hurts everyone. If you are too angry then maybe you should vent elsewhere or take a step back for your mental health. KEEP THE VENTS IN ASKBOX /nm

The person who said CDD systems (Or rather traumagenics in general) aren't allowed to talk about what is and isn't offensive to endogenics has said intersex people shouldn't be so mad about (intersex slur) porn, to let people have their kinks and that it's not even a slur anyway, despite being perisex. She's also said that it's not that serious when she talked about wanting to take children from conservatives and put them in "reeducation schools" when called out for it despite being white. She told us, a shooting survivor, that we were being dramatic and that we had no right to say that her joke about a school shooter being a member of a cult worshipping her was offensive and not okay.

So which is it? Are people who aren't part of a certain group allowed to talk on issues regarding that group, or are they not? Because you don't seem to know either.

You don't follow the philosophy you preach, so maybe stop acting like you know what the hell you're talking about. You don't get to throw a fit over plurals and multiples of all kinds telling you it's not as big of a deal as you think if you do the exact same thing to everyone else.

Seeing folks compare polymindence to DID is so ridiculous. Polymind is an identity, DID is a disorder, do you not see how outrageous it is to compare the two? DID is a complex disorder with many symptoms and difficulties, but for some reason all you focus on is alters? DID is not an alter disorder, stop treating it like it is. Do you not realize how harmful that is? How much thats downplaying a real disorder that people struggle with? If you really think polyminds are making fun of DID, what about you stop downplaying DID? I can assure you an identity labelling an experiencing is not doing harm. Unlike treating a debilitating disorder like it only has one symptom, which does cause harm.

not to mention, the polymind carrd had explicitly stated that the polymind community aren’t claiming to have DID because of their polymindence, and if a polymind is actually a system its unrelated to their polymindence because ones an experience and the other is a disorder. They impact different areas of oneself. Polymindence does not and should not cause DID, and having DID doesn’t mean you can’t be polyminded. Theyre not mutually exclusive.

Reclaiming is specifically for slurs applied to you by bigoted society that you're taking back and using as a positive word. Like "bitch" for women.

Taking a term that people coined specifically for their own community — like plural and plurality — and saying it's yours and saying they can't use it, that they're not "really" plural? That's not reclaiming, that's just being an asshole.

I am so fucking tired of some (keyword some not all) anti endos assuming that someone not being against endos must be endogenic themself, as if 'pro endo' (or even simply 'not anti endo') is synonymous with 'endogenic'.

It just feels like a way of subtly fakeclaiming those of us who aren't anti endo who are, in fact, traumagenic & CDD systems.

Really, when you get right down to it, it feels like a lot of the people doing that kind of shit straight up do not see other traumagenic CDD systems as autonomous people who are capable of having different opinions from others who share our disorder, and I'm absolutely fucking sick of it.

To be honest if you want your DNI to be respected, don’t use #syscourse instead use #tw syscourse 

#syscourse is it a bait tag for clearing up misinformation on both sides if you don’t want people on your DNI to interact with you, don’t use the tag 

#tw syscourse is for bringing up topics that some might consider syscourse and therefore may want to block.

If you oppose the very concept of non-disordered systems, what that tells me is that you, intentionally or unintentionally, are against disordered systems receiving treatment to become non-disordered.

Which is ableist as fuck.

Do want to point out that even if you have gone through full recovery (which can take ages depending on how long it takes for you to even get diagnosed so there isn’t even a guarantee that you will even reach the point of full recovery until you’re significantly older), you are still disordered

Final fusion may mean that you won’t have seperate identity states but other symptoms can still persist and final fusion isn’t necessarily permanent. If you undergo immense stress or new trauma it is possible to split again.

DID is lifelong. You can’t really cure it in the sense that you become completely non disordered. You just go into remission, which isn’t the same as a permanent cure

And if you go for the functional multiplicity route then you would still be disordered, but your symptoms would be manageable.

(now you don’t have to identify as disordered if you dont think it applies to you, identifying as such isn’t the issue, im just putting this out there because its a necessary disclaimer that should be said)

I came across your acct on pro-endo blogs (blegh they're the worst) but I have a question.... why do you participate in syscourse if you're not a system? /genq

One of my parents have DID. I partake in syscourse because, as someone who grew up with someone that had DID and knows the struggles that people with the disorder may have, I of course have opinions on the topic. I like to share my opinions as a way to be blunt. Seeing what the online system community has become rubs me the wrong way a lot. Not all of the community is bad, but there are a lot of echo-chamber misinformation 'facts' being shared around. And while I do not claim any of my posts to be fact ( as they are my opinion ), I still share them with the hopes that maybe it will reach the right people in passing. I don't know if that really makes sense. It's kinda hard to put into words, but yeah.

Long story short : I partake in syscourse because one of my parents has DID and I feel as though my opinions which are based on real-life experiences and things I've learned may possibly be helpful in the future. And even if not, I enjoy getting the things on my mind out there. It helps me in a way.

Your parent does not encompass the wide range of ways DID can present and effect a person. Their experience is far from universal on that.

If you are going to come into a space for people with CDDs and proclaim your 'opinions' on what is or isn't real/possible and who is faking and what are signs people are faking, your experience with 1 singular person who has the disorder is not nearly enough to have any idea what you're talking about with these things, because there are many other ways DID can function and many other ways it can present- it's a disorder built around coping with repeated trauma, it's very individualized and affected a lot by the specific person's experiences.
