HEYO friend, askin all the genshin peeps this ig! Headcanons for the 4 people in your genshin party right at this minute! plus your headcanons for your fave and least fave character!!~
Ooo. Well we've been using our Zibai team a lot recently because meta and recency bias lol. Which also means we've got a decent amount of plurality stuff to talk about here seeing as Zibai herself is most definitely plural as well as Columbina having some plural elements(our favorite characters all lean plural as well so complex opinions all around lol).
So lets start with the hardest one in the group Zibai. I would say spoilers but they are all in a temporary event that is gone now so if you weren't there guess you never get to play this amazing quest(hate that genshin does this especially for plural characters). So at her death she is split into three selves Ziju, Zizhi and Zijiao.
Ziju is very much an analytical thinker and would likely seek more evidence than currently exists on endogenics to truely accept their existence in any logical way. Though she is also very isolated from the world so I also don't see her truely getting involved or truely knowing anything about what endogenic or complex dissociative disorder experiences are.
Zizhi is a hard one because it would definitely depend on who she views as having harmed her the most as she focuses strongly on revenge. She would likely go out of her way to harass whichever group of anti-endos, pro-endos or endogenics she sees as responsible for her suffering. This would of course depend on her interactions with the community and who hits her first.
And lastly Zijiao is the embodiment of their humanity. She would most likely be endo supportive as she would have more sympathy for endogenics with the harm she sees being done to them.
Once they are back in one being at the end of the quest and before they are split apart they would also likely be endo supportive as they have a very much protect and nurture humanity at all costs mentality.
Now that that essay is done now to the next character on the team Columbina. She's too endogenic to not be endo supportive. Also a literal goddess who has her head up in the clouds so definitely not going to care about the science one bit. But she basically splits off a part of herself in the past as well as joins powers into one body of her three sisters that existed separately from her so shes definitely got some endogenic vibes to her story.
Next character Illuga. He's fairly new and there isn't that much story on him so far but he is very much a protector of all. He would be endo supportive and strongly anti-harassment.
And last character on the team currently(unless I can manage to get a Linnea which I doubt because I already lost to a Qiqi, the only 5 star I already had at C6 😥) is Gorou. He'd be very similar to Illuga in stance. I don't think he would know when to stop once he started a debate though and would likely keep saying his opinion long past when the other person is done with the conversation and trying to end it.
Now favorite character as far as story would have to be Layla no question. She is such good CDD representation without even trying to be(ignoring Mizukis anecdote as I would prefer to forget how stigma filled that little snippet is). Again she has more than one identity so we will be talking about the opinions of both separately.
Firstly host Layla. She is way to anxious to tell anyone they are wrong. Whether she ends up more around pro or anti-endos she would be a yes man to try to fit in with the community regardless of her beliefs. She'd also probably struggle to form her own beliefs as she puts too much weight on not disappointing the people around her.
Now with other Layla I believe she'd likely be more on the endo supportive side. She is definitely very protective and understanding of others. I just question if her scientific mind wouldn't also make her extremely inquisitive of there experiences in a way that is genuine but may end up coming off as more offensive than intended.
Favorite character as far as gameplay though has always been Keqing. I love teleportation lol. She likely wouldn't have time for syscourse among all her other tasks and if she ever got time she would find another important task to do first. But she is also likely way too skeptical to take self reports of lived experiences in general at face value. She needs to do her own research first(which she would love as a new task to work on lol).
Now for least favorite I haven't thought about that one. Part of me wants to default to Qiqi because of the hatred of how many times I have pulled her but she has so many lines that crack me up every time. I still can't get over the freaking cocogoat(no autocorrect I don't actually mean coconut lol) shit lol so she gets a pass. And Aloy I could hate because I don't have her and that hurts my completionist brain but there isn't enough lore I actually know to work off of so she also gets a pass.
Maybe lets go with Itto. I hate people who are that cocky. Which no matter what opinion he has he is 100% working off of so much misinformation and would never listed to anyone who tried to correct him. I think hes too much of a rebel to care about what the science says though so he'd likely be pro-endo to stick it to society for telling him what he can't be. He may even claim to be endogenic himself because he most definitely would not understand what the term means and is likely using it to describe something completely separate from the definition of the term.
Anyway I think I hit a new record word count on this post or something at this point with how much I have rambled. So I'm curious if you got this far if you agree or disagree with my headcanons for these characters :)
