Hey, in reference to your tags about my syscourse stance: I don't use any sort of syscourse stance labels for myself. If other people see me as a certain stance, not much I can do about that, but that's not something I use to describe myself.
When it comes to syscourse, I generally prefer to focus on discussing system experiences (primarily sharing my own), ableism within system communities, and sharing information I know about various system related topics, including information on subsets of system & plural communities, rather than partaking in the 'are endos real' and 'is xyz origin valid' type of discourse.
Gotcha! I understand why, although it can be difficult for me due to my and my followers experiences with pro endos, so I like to specify on my reblogs if somebody either explicitly says they do believe in endogenic plurality or they aren’t specifying, which I know can be difficult for some of my followers

I can understand that (especially since I've had my fair share of negative experiences with the pro endo community as well, including with anti CDD ableism and general ableism in particular)!

i HATE self-censorship for a lot of reasons, but being in crisis work makes it even more frustrating. who are you censoring for? like i am being so fr, WHO are you censoring for? have you even thought it through? people who have been raped know that they have been raped. if someone attempts suicide or is grieving someone who did, saying "sewer slide" isn't going to protect them from any of the feelings. a murder victim's family isn't going to feel better bc you said "unalived" instead of murdered. if anything, it's just extremely invalidating and othering. it's saying "what happened to you is so bad that i won't even say the word," which is NOT trauma-informed care. you are not protecting survivors/victims when you self-censor. the ONLY things you protect when you self-censor are the puritanical ideologies that are being encouraged by rich fascists who want your money and obedience

'I don't consider the term aspec to only refer to ones orientation/attraction' okay well i do, and so do a LOT of other aspec people. there is literally no difference between the 'telling gay people they're leaving out people who are homoplatonic' concept and what aplatonic people are doing to aro and ace people. there's just literally not a difference and saying there is actively displaces aro and ace people into less important and less real orientations because apparently our communities are less about our orientations and more just a free for all of whoever feels differently about any old type of relationship. i don't care that you're a part of the community yourself, you don't get to implicate ALL of us in this.

And saying other people who don't experience certain types of love or attraction towards others are welcome in the label for people who don't experience certain types of love or attraction towards others is not treating our orientations as lesser. It says nothing about any of our validity as aromantic or asexual people.
You don't get to kick people who have always been welcome in the term aspec out because you feel the shared community and label we as aro and ace people have with people on the a-spectrum for other types of love or attraction somehow diminishes our orientation. Fuck all the way off.
