Mmm… I really like the forest, honestly. Not this one. The one back home. A lot of bad stuff happened there, sure, but so much good happened too.
There’s this one street I always like walking down! I used to walk there all the time. There’s a park right across from it. It’s pretty nice! It’s got bad lighting though, I’ll give it that.
*Polish paused, looking at him with a horrified expression. Jamie tilted his head, and she just shook the expression away. She still seemed unnerved.*
*Two people are approaching, one older one following the blood and the younger staring at the being. She tried to stop the older, muttering quietly.*

Shhh! Assistant! We are following the ominous blood trail!
The entity only notices them once one of them speaks. It growls for a moment before going quiet in fear of scaring the younger one.
To Jamie, the blood trail ends there and pools in the fountain.
*Polishes hand is at her waist, hovering, staring at the entity in fear. She grabs Jamie’s arm before he can step any closer to the fountain.*

*Jamie squinted and looked around.*

It stares at them and warbles. Jamie can hear it, but it sounds distant, as if it was from another room.
*Polish steps back and Jamie looks around.*

*He looks down and spots the blood, behaving as if it were the first time he had ever seen it.*

It’s (metaphorical) eyes widen at him being so loud and it chirps. It tilts its head, wincing when a sharp spike of pain follows the action.
*Polish panics at the chirp, and whips a gun out, pointing it at the entity.*

*Polish didn’t respond, it was just a fight or flight response. She backed away from the entity, not moving her aim.*
Its eyes widen and it puts its hands up, whining a bit as it does so. More blood drips to the floor. It… doesn’t seem very worried about the gun, despite putting its hands up.
