Basil was walking towards the theater, after having solved his newest case. His client had been insistent that he take the tickets to a play as part of his payment. Normally Basil didn’t ask for much, if any payment. But this client really wanted him to have it. He shrugged as he looked up at the old theater. “Lot of memories in this old place..” He said with a soft sigh.

Everything was going to a tee. The pawns were doing exactly what they were suppose to. Dawson had some rather, unfortunate family matters to attend to out of town, which left Basil to be alone.

Lurking in the shadows was none other than Professor Ratigan. He allowed himself a low snicker as he watched Basil closely. It pleased the crime lord to see the mouse so blind to what was in front of him.
