Given that the show was almost certainly canceled for low sales, they definitely knew in advance. The “health concerns” at the last minute most likely have to do with insurance.

It absolutely sucks that their show was canceled. But who are they seeking damages from? On what basis? Do they honestly think they’re going to win a legal case because a concert was canceled? Even if it was due to low sales, how are they going to prove that? Is there actual a legal precedent that people who purchase tickets to an event are entitled to that event happening under any circumstances? I really doubt it.

Maybe if they were trying to change the system as a whole, I’d feel a lot more enthusiastic about this idea. But it feels like an entitled and self-centered proposal that’s focused on punishing someone for personal grievances about one specific event.

I don't think it's a bad idea for them to collectively request a ticket refund, in fact, I thought that was something that had already happened. Everything else they're proposing is a different story, but that part really ought to happen.

That’s not what they’re requesting. They’re talking about forming a class action lawsuit.

They’re already getting the money back for the tickets. That was stated immediately.
