This. This is what I wanted back so badly.
May 2012. Freshman year was coming to a close. I had made a lot of new friends, and of course, being in the more artsy world, they all had tumblrs. So in I jumped.
Back then I was still a kid. Closeted and scared to death, but young and naive with rose-colored glasses.
So much has changed over the past 10 years. I have a life my younger couldn't even conceive of. The fight to balance the light and dark is different now. My experiences are richer and filled with love I thought I couldn't have.
Tumblr is an oddity in the social media world. Sure, there's all of the crazy inside jokes and quirks. But this place is a visual journal of a third of my life. This is my truest digital footprint. @an-architectural-statement
