Upcoming Events

We all plan for something to look forward to or something that you can reward yourself with. I know that I have been waiting for a particular weekend for a long time and to know its close to being here is so surreal to me. Here's to the fangirling and also time to just breathe and enjoy every moment of it with the people I love and care about.

December has been a ride.

Galaxy Con was a little more than two weeks ago and I’m still on top of the moon over it. Being able to meet John Barrowman has been a dream of mine for a long time and it actually happened. I also added meeting Jodie to my Doctors that I have met list. In addition, I got to meet Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum (on a whim), Corbin Bernsen and had a bunch of amazing conversations with people while waiting in line. I binged watched Smallville when my school was shut down for COVID and to be able to fangirl about the show with Michael and relay my emotions was a big deal to me. I also got a band rec. from Michael about his band. I got to ask Jodie a question at her booth and also Tom Welling made me laugh. 

I was already living off the high of Redsfest the day prior and being able to meet some of the players that I hadn’t had the opportunity to meet before.  

Though I fangirled most of the time, I tried to break the awkward silence of it all and start a conversation because that’s what I do. Even though I was very anxious and afraid of speaking out in public, it is also a celebration for me to convey my feelings to others too. Anyway, I’ll probably be reliving this month over and over again. (Obviously certain parts of it. ) 

Also, prayers and thoughts to my dad and our whole family right now in hopes that we recover from our sickness sooner than later.
