I remember many instances when I was surprised by Yuzu's decisions, but every single time they proved to be right. Seimei and Chopin ARE Olympic programs, I hope he will make them shine at the Olympics.

If there is anything I’ve learnt over the last couple of seasons, it is that all my worrying is useless and what I really need to do is to really trust Yuzuru and his decisions. He knows what he needs to do, he knows what he can do and he knows how to do it. I, on the other hand, know nothing when it comes to his skating.

Of course there will be mistakes, but that’s part of the game and those are his lessons to be learnt. 

Gold or no gold, record or no record I feel lucky every day for being his fan. The thrill and joy his skating brings me are unmatched.

Yuzu, you don’t have to be perfect all the time. We know you are not really an alien :) No matter how otherworldly great you are, you are human, and humans make mistakes. It’s ok, that doesn’t change a thing. You make this sport better and we love you for that.  Cheer up, get plenty of rest and shine on.

The very end of R. Taggart Murphy’s book “Japan and the Shackles of the Past” is dedicated to Yuzuru, in a really meaningful and flattering way. The book is quite a serious one, with Japan Times naming it one of 2014′s best. Watching artistic gymnastics with my older brother, a huge sporting fan.

Bro: So Simone Biles is basically unbeatable. There’s no way she’d ever lose.

Me: So she’s like Serena Williams of gymnastics?

Little did I know Pooh was just the beginning :) I ACTUALLY GOT YUZU’S GHANA FILES! A friend of mine spent a year in Japan, but I never mentioned her about these files. But she did know about my love for Yuzu and I guess he’s really big in Japan :)

Although Yuzu’s programs @Autumns Classics were by no means perfect, the scores he earned would have given him the world title last year. He’s that amazing. I’m looking forward to this season, really :)
