Pre-Nibelheim Sephiroth is actually pretty bad at hiding his feelings. Hojo’s lessons on being a hardened soldier were useless.

Sephiroth cried on his first big boy mission after being trained to be ruthless. He fails to suppress his laughter in multiple scenes. Every time people tease or laugh at him he is guaranteed to shy away and get flustered. He lashes out at Angeal at least ten different times and tries to act like he doesn’t care but then immediately gets scared when Angeal is in danger. He literally runs off like a toddler to process his anxiety with Team Glenn at one point. He is so visibly shaken by Alissa that everyone notices it repeatedly. He spends half of Crisis Core hanging his head in sadness and obviously missing his friends. He’s openly endeared by Zack. He’s too moody when he’s trying to be stoic. He looks like a kicked dog in Nibelheim. This guy is no emotionally regulated soldier, he’s a mess.

He sucks at hiding his emotions, but he’s good at brushing them off or leaving them unexplained until they inevitably burst out. He’s good at bottling them up. But he literally sucks at controlling or concealing them lol.

Well okay maybe he kinda sucks at brushing off his feelings too. What a goofball.

Oof, it's been a moment! What a season!

I had no luck with my basil, and never was able to get my habanada peppers to grow more than a sprout. I have so many pictures I took over the past few months, so this is going to be a multi-post process, despite the new extension on file amount/size!

My lemongrass and chamomile have thrived all summer, so much so that I've been harvesting just about every day. I've been saving the stalks and leaves of my lemongrass by freezing the stalks and putting the leaves in a mesh bag to dry out; I haven't fully decided what I'm using the leaves for yet, but for now, I have them.

My heirloom tomatoes have been...tricky. I haven't had the best couple of years growing them; they've only produced smaller fruit and only one per plant that's usable. I did ask around and spoke with a farmer who has been growing tomatoes for years, and he recommended I try feeding them more (apparently they are rather picky about their soil nutrients), considering I discovered the leaves were curling in a way that showed there was too much nitrogen in the soil (I also used a pH detector). Despite feeding them, not much more came from them.

My other tomatoes, however, grew amazingly, which I'll show in future photos. Same for my huckleberries!
