Love her, but leave her wild.
Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird (via wordsnquotes)
My last day in Ireland, and my hosts had their last swim in the Irish Sea π I swam here on Monday, and played with my friend's cousins in the low tide yesterday π€ They made mud pies, saying "but you can't eat them" π Oh, and James Joyce lived in that tower there.

So, I didnβt post this before because I didnβt want to worry anybody, but when I landed in Dublin last week I lost my passport. When I arrived at my accommodations I couldnβt find it, even though I just had it at the airport and through customs. I called the airport and filed a lost property report. They didnβt find it. I mentioned it to my friendβs mom and she told me that the coach we took was separate, so I emailed them on Monday. They responded 30 minutes later that they found it! I went to their business office today and got it back without a fuss π€ I had scheduled an emergency passport appointment with the embassy for today, but was not looking forward to replacing a passport I just got a couple months ago (with 2 fresh stamps!). Thank you Lord for allowing me to find it in the nick of time ππ»

Dublin Castle (only really looks like it on the inside). There are an absurd amount of squares, plain old stone courtyards, in Dublin historic buildings.

The last of the Barracks! You can sneak a view of me in that second photo π I swear I'm alive π

No pictures!
Today was the first day of my trip where I took no pictures. Words will have to do. We took a bus from Limerick to Dublin in the rain (hence no photos from the bus ride) and went straight to a family barbecue. I met more of my friend's family and played with the kids. A good day filled with laughter, all in all π€
