Back with another @weeklymagmas for the Musical Theatre Jam!

This time, @dangerousgiantlime and I collabed on a Phantom of the Opera piece, with Mikey as Christine and Stefano (Lime's Rise Dark Turtle Clone) as the Phantom. Lime did the background and Stefano, and I did Mikey. :) It was super fun to draw together, and I hope we can do it again soon! Stefano Ref

Late to the game, but finally finished my Keyblade Master Leo and his keyblade Hachi Machi from the @weeklymagmas High Fantasy Jam!

Thanks again to @theartsybat, @vulstare, and @dangerousgiantlime for rubber-ducking the foreshortening, lighting, and effects with me. It's always fun hanging out in the magma after hours, and all your advice really helped! 💙💙💙

Finally got to join another @weeklymagmas!

More details under the cut.

This weekend's theme was Pirates, so you know I had to make a Sinbad reference (Leosagi flavored, ofc~)

And then the second piece was a collab done with @pvtpunsart and @theartsybat !

The boat, background, and Splinter sketch was done by Rhys

The coloring, shading, and the sketches for Mikey, Raph, and April were done by Bat

And I did Leo sketch and all the lineart. :)

It was super fun, and I can't wait to hang out with everyone again next weekend!

@weeklymagmas hosted a Secret Santa this month, and I got @cimmerian1275! From one dragon and star lover to another~ ✨ The dragon Donnie design is from Cim's Dragonfruit AU, which you can check out here! As an added bonus, a little blurb to go with the drawing is also below the cut.

"When drawing this, I imagined a scenario where Donnie hears or reads about a massive meteor shower that will be visible that night. He's so excited to see it for himself, but none of his brothers are able or interested in joining him.

Until April volunteers! She surprises Donnie by packing a big overnight bag and meeting him at the entrance of the lair, all ready to go. Donnie is delighted. But, of course, he tries to play it cool before letting her hop onto his back (with a knowing and fond smile on her face.) Together, they fly out to a big open clearing--far from the lights of the city, but open enough to see the vast sky above. Then, after building a nice warm bonfire, they settle down just as the sun starts to set and the stars begin to fall.

To me, there is nothing more magical than being able to watch something so beautiful with one of your best friends. And my hope is that I am able to share even some of that wonder with you through this gift. So Happy Holidays and I hope you enjoy this small rendition of the vast and ethereal wonder that is our cosmos. - For Cim"

My contributions to this past weekend's @weeklymagmas jam!

As always, I had a blast! This was also the fastest I've ever fully rendered multiple drawings in a row, haha. You can see the final boards with everyone's amazing pieces here and here.

Descriptions under the cut!

First is Leo from @pvtpunsart, @ginnturtle, and my vampire AU called Cut Your Teeth!  We love a well-dressed and well-fed evil undead turtle. :3c  Featuring text and little pixel Leo companions by @theartsybat!  (Thank you again for keeping me company while I tried to finish rendering him post-magma session haha 💙)

Next is @theartsybat’s ghost!Mikey ooing and aahing at the SUPER cute pumpkin tot drawn by @kurithedweeb!  I love Bat’s ghost!Mikey design. So the moment I saw this weekend’s theme, I knew I had to draw him somewhere.  He’s just a happy little baby going out on ghostly adventures~

And lastly is my trick-or-treat line, with Rat Jitsu handing out candy to all the adorable turtle tots (plus one very handsome CJ and an adorable little birb Mikey!)  In order, the trick-or-treaters were drawn by @theartsybat, @pvtpunsart, @ginnturtle, @kurrentobsession, @hotflatwaffle, and @autisticartistnauthor.  Thank you all for joining in a little collab with me! c:

And here are some incredibly messy doodles I did for the Magma Drawing Games on Saturday! My focus on these was speed, so I practiced lineless color blocking just to get the ideas out lmao

The first one was @pvtpuns' and my attempt to entice people to the drawing game canvas by tempting them with colorful animals. I drew the lizard and moth, and Rhys drew the rest! Then, for everything else, here are the topics in order:

FINALLY DONE!! Posting late (as per usual), BUT here are my contributions to last weekends magma, hosted by @weeklymagmas. You can see the full boards with everyone's incredible art here. More detailed descriptions under the cut!

The theme was cosplay, so first is the Disaster Twins dressed up as one of my favorite psuedo-twins from Kingdom Hearts. (Which also just happens to turn out to be @pvtpuns' and my favorite turtles as our favorite KH characters haha) I wanted to try my hand at color variation, so I decided to experiment with the rendering on this one. (Even if I couldn't finish it in time for the main boards post... ;v;) And then next, @thelamebat and I went just a little off topic and developed an entire Homestuck AU for Rise lmaooo. It was so much fun, and honestly?? Peak AU design. I drew everyone facing right, and Bat drew everything facing left! (The 4th human is Timothy from IGBAU~)

As always, it was super fun and I'm excited to draw again with everyone soon!!
