why people in her world are so quick to demand the help of milletians when trouble starts, but then are just as quick to demonize them

milletians are powerful, but most of them genuinely want to just be normal people; many of them throw themselves into learning to tailor, brew potions, learning to cook, become blacksmiths. a ton of them outright avoid combat to focus on mundane skills! so it confuses her that everyones so ready to raise pitchforks if one of them sneezes wrong

education: the concept of taking classes for an education beyond a very basic “heres how you do this. do it 3 times. okay have fun with life” is wild to her

milletians learn in a very hands-on fashion for almost everything, the definition of practice makes perfect, but alone. doing things with other people for practice or learning is very weird since many things can only be practiced in a way that means other people will be in the way! 

people/themselves: the ‘weirder’ you look (compared to a normal human), the stronger/richer she assumes you are. on the flipside, the more ‘normal’ you look, the poorer/weaker she thinks you are.

normal people in erinn generally dont dress in bright colors or fancy clothes unless youre royalty or its related to a career. milletians are very powerful, and are generally rather vain, even going as far to dye their skin in a rainbow of colors just to look like monsters for fun.

if she were to look at nata, for example, she would assume that she has a lot of money stashed away and is pretty damn strong!
